Kids and Horror Movies
Posted: 12/28/2008 1:37:18 PM
I work in a preschool and we have children talking about Saw and Nightmare on Elm street. These kids are not even 4 years old. it blows me away. The parents act as though there is no big deal or harm in allowing their child to watch something that is geared toward an audience 13 years older than them. Those same parents are shocked when their kids are emulating what they are viewing in these movies

does nothing for me really. It would do more for me if she were to sensually lick her lips or suck on one of her/my fingers

What's wrong with a little biting?
Posted: 9/20/2008 8:14:34 AM
Absolutely nothing, as long as the marks (if any) are not visable to the whole world and that both partners are into it

Would a man seriously date a woman with three kids
Posted: 8/31/2008 8:03:07 PM
I dont think i would, maybe its my age, but the idea of being in a relationship and then instantly having a decent sized family is a little intimidating. I dont know why, but 1 or 2 children does not present nearly as much of a "threat"or intimidation factor as 3 or more chldren does.

I feel bad when I judge people on their weight..
Posted: 8/31/2008 6:47:12 PM

this might be true but i noticed that on your profile, you say you drink *socially*. now that can be seen as a health concern also. everyone has a vice or bad habit, no one is perfect.

Not to get defensive, but i never claimed to be "perfect" or the pilar of physical fitness. At my heaviest i was 260lbs (2.5 years ago), and was able to work myself down to 195lbs (last summer), however I let myself go again and gained back 20lbs. I would say ideally i should lose another 35-40lbs based upon my height and age. So healthwise i am definitely a work in progress and would fit under my own definition of being unhealthy. :-)

As already stated over and over in the 13 pages of responces, its just a personal preference.

I too find myself attracted to the smaller women, not necessarily size 2, but more or less i want to be the bigger person in the relationship.

Also for me issues of health come into play. I would tend to argue that a 5' 6 200lbs women is not in the best physical shape. If a person is in their ealry 20s and already 30-40lbs overweight whats going to happen when they hit 40?

Its not just a matter of looks but health and activity level too.

Could you ever date someone that owns a pitbull as a pet?
Posted: 8/31/2008 2:24:24 PM
The fact they own a pitbull would not ffect if i were to date the person or not. Although, how they treat the dog and that dogs specific temperment might. I have scars on both hands from being attacked by a dog, it was not a pitbull either, so (although i am still an avid dog person) i am still leary of dogs that may have poor temperment.

do u miss the 80's?
Posted: 8/31/2008 2:16:32 PM
considering I was only six when the 80s ended I dotn miss them too much, although i would to have loved to have been a teenager in the mid 80s just for a chance to see many of the horror movies on the big screen that were made at the time

Male teachers in daycare
Posted: 8/30/2008 9:10:23 PM
This mindset is extremely frustrating as a young male working in a preschool setting. It is an extremely rewarding job, but an added level of stress is put upon men who choose this line of work because of the unfounded fear of many people.

It is sad to say, but I do not let the children sit on my lap or be really close in my personal space for fear that someone is going to get upset that the male teacher is "interacting too closely with their children".

It is even more frustrating in the instances where I might be the first positive male role model the child encounters and i can even embrace that fact for fear of my actions being misconstrued

Can a company make you use direct deposit?
Posted: 8/30/2008 8:29:24 PM
both of my jobs have gone "paperless" in regards of pay. I dont mind it at all, apprently if you were to not sign up for the direct deposit system your money would be given to you on some kind of debit ard system, but I have direct deposit so I haven't had the need to get anymore information on the topic

Am I obligated to go through with it?
Posted: 8/30/2008 1:09:42 PM
i would have to agree that you are not obligated to do anything that you are no longer comfortable with. I dont think the issue of looks would be as much of a concern to me as the decietful nature of his self-representation.

What do you think about tip jars?
Posted: 8/26/2008 8:12:19 PM
If the jar is out at a place tha im at once then I just ignore the jar, but if its at a place that I frequent alot then i usually drop any coin change from my bill in the jar. This is mainly with smaller mom and pop style places not big chain stores.
