^^^^^^ lol...than put on a set of head-phones and tune them right out...Trust me you wont be hit on if your really in your own little world working out. And if guys do hit on you while you are there, you need to be upfront and tell them off. Its too bad thats how the world is but deal with it!

i think the gym is kinda sucky for picking up the ladys , thats what the bars for! Your nuts buddy. The gym is the easiest place to meet women and the majority of them are super tight. Now i never hit on girls at the gym because I hate it when nasty girls eye **** me while I do reps. But if you see someone you like...it never hurts to smile and if she comes by to workout next to you and smiles back then you know she's interested as well. I met my girlfriend at the gym after seeing her work out 4-5 times previous, and she was the one who approached me. Just gotta know how the ladies want to be treated and treat them accordingly....It aint that hard kids!

I think it has to do with the fact that when your single they can notice you looking at them or you just have a diferent way about you but when your taken and in the bar your more reserved and to yourself so you come off as you don't want them and they want to be wanted so intern they find themselves more attracted to your presence. I think Tr3vor has it nailed. Not that I really have this problem, but I know that ladies always want the attention and if they get it from you staring at them like a single guy would, you just fulfilled their desire and they move on. If you don't give that to them then they know they have to work for it and some will try a little harder to get your attention. Sometimes its all about the cha$e.

Whatever...I don't want to know that this person was a everyones piece of a$$ everyother weekend. I don't go sleep around with every gurly I pick up at the bar..she has to be worth my time/effort and that rarely comes after a first encounter. I also don't want to be with a girl that all of my friends had a piece of. Makes things a little ackward when talking in the locker room. She basically isn't my soulmate if she was everyone else's **** friend. You can't however put a number figure into it, like previously mentioned....it's a respect issue and if she didn't respect herself enough, then she doesn't have my respect.

What are you doing going to parties without your girlfriend? dude how old are you? remember like a decade ago when you were just dating around. Did you keep the girl by yourside in every activity you did. I hope not. Its not a sin to go to a party with a bunch of friends and leave the girlfriend at home or doing her own thing. OP just ****ed up...happens to the best of us..you really need to give the numbers away to your buddies once you leave the party unless you plan on doing anything further. Like if you just kept it as a personal trophy of your accomplishment, you need to find a better place then leaving it in your jeans. Better excuse...say some gurly gave it to you to give to your buddy who you went to the party with, or its the number from someone in a common class at school. Goodluck next time

Ouch Dude..thats cold.....The lady actually has a really good point, however what she is saying wouldn't work at your foam party setting....but I'm sure it works at these POF parties that people seem to go to. Maybe a suggestion would be to check out the list of people signed up to attend and maybe make a friend or two at the last minute with a few of these people with common interests. This way when you hit up the POF party you have someone you can initially converse with. From there the snowball effect will hopefully work in your favour and you'll meet their friends and so on.

JD2005...couldn't have said it much better. The ladies love when you throw a quick glace their way and look at them like there is no one else in the place. Cause frankly you usually have choice of many good looking women and so you need to make this one feel like she is the only one there. Of course becuase you haven't made convo you have to be the eye candy she's looking for. Then you make your sales pitch and the rest is history. of course sometimes this fails misearbly and girls would rather you play hard to get....go figure

^Alis Kat^^ Agreed, however when going to univeristy and a few gorgeous ladies are trying to make you their thurday night conquest, its a little hard to make them wait for the long term to kick in. Unfortunatly with all the studying and partying, long relationships sometimes take aback seat to quick encounters. Problem is if the sex is bad, that person looks a hell of a lot worse then before she started. So I would have to agree on the no sex to bad sex.......I would just make sure the sex wasn't bad and then we have no problem.

If they are hidious looking you can be like " Yah I dont recongize you...maybe your confusing me with someone else." And if they're smokin hot you can be like "Yah well lets go somewhere to refresh your memory" You know they are somewhat interested because they made the first move...so its a win-win for you. Oh God...I saw this girl at the bar tonight that i talked to like 4 months ago on this site. She lives an hour away and insisted she recognized me. I kind of lied to her becuase my girlfriend was watching from a distance. A little embarassing....but its nice to know that people look way better on the outside than they do in their POF pictures.

Without having a webcam I am kind of at a loss of experience but it was pretty sexy when one of my ex's wanted to show how she had matured over the past few years. It was tasteful however reciently I have been asked by complete strangers if I wanted to do a webcam chat. After hearing stories from friends I figure some random wanting to do a webcam is probably not the best thing. I dont mind the show but I definitely wouldn't date the stripper afterwords. What is your feeling towards webcams and how do you feel about unknown people openly asking you to have a webcam session with them?

i use to live in whistler, and new lots of people who stayed in hostles while they waited to get into staff housing! i think if you go to www.hostelz.com and type in whistler, a whole bunch of hostel listings in whistler will pop up, prices and everything! Thanks I will check that out. I am actually from Ontario Canada, which is fairly flat and i have not ventured more then 8 hours away to snowboard. Vermont and Quebec top my list. Which is why I am dying to get out west.

I am a snowboard fanatic and my dream has always been to ride the BC Rockies or Coastal Mountains. I had the opportunity when I found out a new girl I was seing has family in the Vancouver Area...I suddenly got super excited because the prospect of going to Whistler was actually within reach. Unfortunatly since her family live more then 3hrs (far south of Vancouver) from the hills it makes little sence to go for a week and drive 6+ hours everyday. Basically I am wondering if there is any inexpensive way to go to Whistler? IE stay in a Hostle (if one exists). Basically the reason I can't go is because I am in the middle of getting my university degreee and I can only really afford to fly out there on a seat sale and pay for my food and lift tickets. Does anyone have any suggestions or other "hidden gem ski resorts" I should look into.

It's like the reverse grade 9 situation for the males where your women flock into another age pool and you are left out to dry. There are plenty of girls that make the leap and send out a message, however, depending on what your looking for, some girls just dont have the time to scan for new guys as they get way too many messages they're trying to dilter through. It never hurts to have your profile critiqued by some of the people doing profile reviews (forums)....I found the messages jumped in volume when i made some of these minor adjustments.

Kitty. Its not even worth doing anything. This is a site supposedly dedicated to finding people who share your desires and interests in life and want to persue them further with you. Why anyone would waste their time doing anything differently is beyond me. I am actually quite curious how you got into this situation. You have a whitty and intelligent profile, which describes your personality/character to a fair degree. It doesn't make sense why anyone would belitttle you unless you provoked it in some manner. Of course I know nothing of the psychology of a$$holes so, maybe there is a good reason for it. So unless you want to drop to his level and try and make him feel like shit, I would just ignore the message or take it as a compliment that someone would spend a portion of their short & insignificant life to get a hold of you. And just write off anything the message had to say.

You guys should start learning a little more about hockey before you jump to conclusions, because last time I checked the leafs were sitting 6th in the conference at 10 games above .500 and were 8-2 in their last 10. Hummm doesn't sound like a team that is sunk before they step out on the ice to me. I'm a huge leaf fan and I'm not sure they have the team to win the cup, but they definitely have the ability make a run at it, like they have for the past 15 years or so. Criticisms Leafs need goaltending....Are you insane? although Eddie is not where he used to be he gives the leafs a chance to win most nights which is more then most other goalies can say...And their back-up Tellqvist is 6-3 with a 2.43 GGA and a shutout, how is that brutal by any means. He should be the Goalie of the future for the leafs and if you watched the World Juniors, Tukka Rask and Justin Poggee were the two top goalies in the tourney and their are both leaf prospects. I would have to say the leafs are fine in the goaltending situation but yes it might be time to more Belfore along. Bring in Young Players.....how old do you think Steen, Stajen and Werllwood are? two of the three are in their rookie seasons and all have got consistent time throughout the game. Add Colaiacovo who found a regular spot....the leafs have more youth on this team getting regular time then they have since before my time. And with all the youth on Edmonton, Buffalo and Carolina...the leafs continue to challenege and beat them. IF the leafs can strengthen the defence and help eddie out a bit more, I think they can challenge anyone as long as they bring the game they have brought in the past few. They need to keep working because they are not as skilled as a team like Ottawa but they should be able to compete. GO Leafs GO!

In response to hughJrection message 11 They split male and female sports apart because it provides better competition for both genders. The women can play against the top women in the field and win something significant, where as they likely would not make the cut trying to pay against the top males. Besides, women are not discluded in most male sports leauges (like Manon Rheaume (NHL), Danica Patrick (IRL), and Annika Sorenstam (PGA)) However for the most part they cannot compete with their male counterparts at the highest of levels. For instance, last week the US Olympic Womens Hockey Team played a highschool team of boys and lost 3-2. Sure it was likely a competitive game but your talking about the 2nd best womens team in the world and they cannot beat an American Highschool team. Imagine how they would face off against the male Team Canada or even USA for that matter. This way top females can get recognized for their accomplishments as top female athletes. So I think all sports should be open for women to compete against males as long as they earn their spot just like everyone else has to.

Leafs Fan all the way......and I have to agree with a lot of people on here. If the Sens can get by Toronto (likely in the first round of the play-offs) then they will take the cup hands down barring major injury. There is not another team in the League that can match the Sens night in and night out, especially not in a seven game series. They have all the tools to win; scoring, grit, goaltending and defence. They are probably one of the best assembled teams I have seen in a long time. Oh and the Pittsburgh (maybe soon Hamilton) Penguins have no defence and a young goalie and therefore no matter how much scoring talent they have, They will never win the cup with that team. **** I love hockey. GO LEAFS GO!!!!!!
