I mght have OCD because...

I refuse to go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink....but I don't think that's OCD, I'm just paranoid about getting ants.

Favorite pastimes?
Posted: 9/18/2009 2:27:13 PM

What do you do for fun?

Play volleyball, be a smarta$$, go to the beach, shop for shoes, comedy clubs, check out terrible bands at creepy venues. Kick around with my friends, or spend a nice relaxing day watching football or hockey.

What did you once do for fun and now miss?

Surprisingly-golf. I used to be pretty good, but haven't been in a long time. Also camping, we used to have a blast, but it's been a while.

Brett Favre to Retire
Posted: 9/17/2009 10:33:31 PM
I just wish that when someone says they are going to retire (Brett Favre) they actually go away. I have disliked this MF'er for what feels like a billion years now, and he keeps coming back. He's the c0*kroach of the NFL. Go away Brett, just go away!

Why look at profiles that are not what you are looking for?

Just think.....if NO ONE ever looked at your profile, you'd have to start a thread about that too!

How do you know when the time is right?
Posted: 9/17/2009 9:58:55 PM
Perhaps the time is right when you get the ball gag adjusted just right.....

Barbe, I feel your pain, I know what you're saying. Sometimes I think it comes down to a matter of the "wow" factor. If you're not sufficiently "wowed" on the first date--you have a hard time imagining things progressing. In today's land of technology, we seem to be spoiled with instant gratification in a lot of circumstances, which makes dating a bit harder than it used to be.

do women like to sing in the shower

do women like to sing in the shower

I think it depends on the woman, Sparky. I do it, and my neighbors LOVE it. *insert sarcasm*

and would you women think its romantic if a guy sings to in the shower

Not if it was "Broadway Showtunes", or Barbara Streisand--and not if he sounded like a wounded buffalo.

One afternoon, lounging by the pool--I witnessed Trixie annihilate oreos by ripping them apart, and sucking out their insides, then tossing the crunchy cookie goodness back in the box.

I still have nightmares.

Why do women make such snappy remarks...
Posted: 3/12/2009 12:37:32 AM
Perhaps they make "snappy" remarks because it's part of their sense of humor. Not ever having made any such snappy remarks-I really cannot even fathom a guess.

dating with a disability

I would suggest that SS lay off the little people fetish porn, or if he really likes it... perhaps he should keep that to himself until he knows people a lot better. It's never good to vomit your obnoxious personality on people right away. It's best to wait on information of that nature

I'd be more impressed if she was a midget with a glass eye and a peg leg--but you all have to start somewhere I suppose. Amateurs.

How many of you have actually had a great experience with online dating?
Posted: 3/10/2009 11:08:28 AM
I had one really great experience-but it wasn't someone I met thru an actual dating site, we met via a blog site.

On this site, I've only dated a couple-both of which were not what I would call great catches. LOL But, I have met some wonderful people-and that is a success in and of itself.

Is honesty the best policy?
Posted: 11/28/2008 10:27:10 AM
I believe honesty is always the best policy, but that doesn't mean that it's a surefire way to get in someone's good graces.
Tact is also very helpful in regards to honesty, as well as diplomacy. You can't just go around spewing whatever comes to mind. There's a reason it's referred to as being "Brutally Honest".

On the flipside-lying will get you no where, even lies by omission.

Babies in the movie theater

Because the parents are inconsiderate, selfish asshats.
There is absolutely NO reason that children should be allowed in movie theaters after a certain time, and for anything with a stricter rating than PG. Sorry, I just don't buy the excuses that "enlightened" parents give when this subject comes up.

Posted: 7/21/2008 11:24:52 AM

IME, a guy who said that to me would likely be bluffing and prolly back out when I agree to it.

I agree with ya on that. I think they'd probably suggest it for shock value and when you didn't refuse...be left stammering and stuttering. It takes some serious rocks to follow thru with that on a first/second date setting.

There's no excuse for cheating. The amount of time you have spent together will make it extremely hard to get past this, but you're much better off if you leave her behind.
