What do you do for fun? Play volleyball, be a smarta$$, go to the beach, shop for shoes, comedy clubs, check out terrible bands at creepy venues. Kick around with my friends, or spend a nice relaxing day watching football or hockey. What did you once do for fun and now miss? Surprisingly-golf. I used to be pretty good, but haven't been in a long time. Also camping, we used to have a blast, but it's been a while.

Perhaps the time is right when you get the ball gag adjusted just right..... Barbe, I feel your pain, I know what you're saying. Sometimes I think it comes down to a matter of the "wow" factor. If you're not sufficiently "wowed" on the first date--you have a hard time imagining things progressing. In today's land of technology, we seem to be spoiled with instant gratification in a lot of circumstances, which makes dating a bit harder than it used to be.

I had one really great experience-but it wasn't someone I met thru an actual dating site, we met via a blog site. On this site, I've only dated a couple-both of which were not what I would call great catches. I believe honesty is always the best policy, but that doesn't mean that it's a surefire way to get in someone's good graces. Tact is also very helpful in regards to honesty, as well as diplomacy. You can't just go around spewing whatever comes to mind. There's a reason it's referred to as being "Brutally Honest". On the flipside-lying will get you no where, even lies by omission.
