Spelling and Grammar, does it count?

I would have apprehension about dating anyone from anywhere who cannot spell the basics properly; especially words like "you" and "are".
I personally want someone who cares about the impression he makes, whether in person or in writing, enough to at least spell the entire word, or make an attempt at doing so. It shows respect and like they care enough to take the time to (try to) write a proper message. There are other things on which I'd base a decision on, but spelling does matter, even if only an attempt. Laziness though often rubs off onto other areas, and when someone sends me a message "how r u?" ... well it does not make me interested.
I find that the ones that use poor grammar and spelling often fail to actually read my profile. Tonight alone I have had about 5 or 6 men message me who had not read my profile at all. They actually seem offended or put out when asked if they had read it. It is currently (and temporarily) one fairly short paragraph.

I was just wondering what people consider a good price and what they consider costly? I know these things can vary from person to person. :)

Dating the wealthy?

I really don't know why money should be a factor if someone likes someone else. I only want to know he can pay his own bills and it would be nice if he can take me out for a nice dinner every now and then. Yes I will admit I'd be able to cope with being financially taken care of, but it's certainly not a condition on me choosing who I want to be with. I would trade all the money in the world for being treated well and being adored. My ex husband made a very substantial income and yes it was nice knowing things would be covered without a sweat, but it didn't make him treat me well. What I'm getting at is that, to me, money really doesn't matter.

Introduce Yourself Here....

Hi,
I am originally from Toronto and I have been here in BC for about 6 years now. Currently I am living in Surrey, but would very much like to move back into Vancouver as soon as I can. I am divorced and I have no kids but would like to have a family of my own at some time.
So that's it I suppose. Happy fishing and I hope everyone here finds what they are looking for. :)

He Says Lose 30 lbs and He Will Give you an Engagement Ring.....Would Ya????

I have to agree with what I have read here. I'd never change my body or looks just to get a ring. If someone told me that they'd only want me (for good) if I lost 30 pounds I'd tell him what he could do with that and I'd be out of there in a heartbeat. If he only wants a skinny girlfriend, and she is not "skinny" then why the heck is he with her!? I mean I am a size 18, I am proud of how I look, and I'd not be with someone who only wanted a "skinny" girlfriend. The person you are with aught to be proud of you as is, not to change you into what they have in their head. If she was my friend, daisydahlia, I'd tell her to run, don't walk, and to not look back.
I mean seriously, say she were to lose the 30 pounds. Then what would be next? Perkier boobs? A different hair color? Maybe he would start not liking her nose? From what I have experienced it is almost never just one thing. It just starts with one thing.
