The flowing waters of the soul wash away the masks of yesterday
Allowing ,surmising ambiguity perhaps resolve
We open the door leaving the shadow
Opaque,surreal barren
Seaching for
what could have been

In my magic garden
No pain ,no shame
But real untarnished essence
Release ,freedom to be
Endless sunshine
On my back
Pushing toward an ever sweet release
The meaning of me

YOU

echoes of silence
frozen in time
shimmering twilight
spikes through my mind
random spears of mammoth fears
of an absolute degree
overpower me
absolute aloneness
numbs my soul
i am nothing without you

in secret, between the shadow and the soul.
In the twilight of existence, scarcely ordained
Lies truth of heart’s existence
Opaque, sereneness
Like a lover’s soft sweet kiss
Ordained to last longingly forever
To cycle again and again

The tangents of truth
The misconceptions
Sincerely aloof

The mental masturbation
Of expectations expressed
Torture of spirit
The truths-undressed

Such is the mindset
Dictated as truth

YOU…(since Glo ,Oh Gloria )

You can share my bed
But you can’t go inside my head
I’M looking…to find my
“one of a kind gal”
a little like ol’ mama
gone for many years
one like the peeler,Sheryl
gone for many years
One lika Amey,sutle,elegant youth
Toast of many beers
Around campfires-dwindling

One like ……..—a awesome one night
Long ago “thing”

Zena,oh Zena-alchollically clear.
Eskimo ex-hubby of Karate’ fear

Then there was Catherine
Of heart’s tug arrow
Source of understanding
Eyes set on tomorrow
The Healer,the lover,the Spirit
Of truth,
The lover of life-the giver of Youth
A “friend of the family”

Jake,oh Jackie...what can I say
Jake was jake, back in the day
Artistic,controlled by daddy’s dollar
Couldn’t come out to play
Often—on a Big Boulder,I’d hold her
Open-ended lust!

Hetty, oh Heather of Scottish/Irish claim
On her shoulders lays the blame
Of the loss of a best friend
With charges-dropped,-weopons band
That chapter did end-

Bev,dear bev,never to hurt a fly
So meek and mild
Prone to cry –over loss of innocence
Heart of a child
Misplaced by ex-husband’s disgrace
To be left unsaid…

Lisa,oh leasa,-the longest one –night stand
With a co-worker/friend
How,do you say it will end?

Life,it’s as hard as you make it
It’s as hard as you let it be
believe?

Wisdom, It comes with age
After the rage
It comes with trying
It comes with dying
It comes with balance
It comes with tears
It comes with-out malice
It comes with years

Knowledge,huh so forlorn
For with IT ,You must be born
The knowledge of sin
Where do you begin
To differeneciate
before it’s too late
between these chosen two?

awesome stuff B.M...i came back after shuffling the cards
felt the need to post
on the thread i enjoy the most...kudos folks

RESIGNATION
Posted: 6/5/2007 10:05:09 PM
Limitations of aggravation have increased substantially so
I have decided I cannot go along with the flow
The quality of stupidity of all these fine men and boys
Treating the equipment like their own
Abusing and destroying all their toys
Increasing disregard-respect-indifference?
Lack of self esteem
Coming and going as they like
We sure have a hell of a team!

So ,with sad indifference –stress level way on high
I’ve decided with advise of medical counsel
To say a fond GOODBYE!
To the life of guiding these fine men and boys all
And directing them around our little burgh
And repeating every call-REPEATING EVERY WORD!

So shall I name names-numbers and be the company rat?
NOPE--Let the animals run the zoo
Sorry bucko,that ain’t where I’m at

So to wind up this discussion and not to go off on a rant
To work with these few good men
As dispatch—I know I surely can’t
RESPECTFULLY YOURS

DOLLY DAGGER
Posted: 6/1/2007 12:18:48 PM
Dolly Dagger
Jimi Hendrix

Here comes Dolly Dagger
Her love’s so heavy, gonna make you stagger
Dolly Dagger, she drinks the blood from a jagged edge... aw, drink up baby

Been riding broomsticks since she was fifteen
Blowin' out all the other witches on the scene
She got a bullwhip just as long as your life
Her tongue can even scratch the soul out of the devil’s wife.
Well I seen her in action at the Player's Choice
Turn all the love men into doughnut boys.
Hey, red hot mama you better step aside,
This chicks gonna turn you to a block of ice.
Look out!

Here comes Dolly Dagger,
WHer love's so strong gonna make you stagger, baby
Dolly Dagger
She drinks her blood from a jagged edge
Uh, right on
Drink up, baby
Hey!

Yeah, look at old burnt out Superman
Try'n' to shoot his dust on the sun
Captain Karma kids, they're dead on the run
Oh the words of love, ah
Do they ever touch Dolly Brown?
Better get some highway an' clear outta town

Here comes Dolly Dagger,
Her love's so heavy gonna make you stagger
Dolly Dagger
She ain't satisfied 'til she gets what she's after
She drinks the blood from a jagged edge
Alright
Watch out Devon
You give me a little bit of that heaven

Dolly, heavy mama, get it on, get it on, get it on
Dolly, heavy mama, get it on, get it on, get it on
Dolly, heavy mama, get it on, get it on, get it on
Dolly, heavy mama, get it on, get it on, get it on
Get it on, get it on, get it on, get it on, get it on, get it on
Woo, yeah, yeah, yeah
Woo, yeah, yeah, yeah
Woo, yeah, yeah, yeah

I am who I am
No regrets no regards
Live with my life
Life so surreal
Shards of memories
Abound-still I am me
I am who I am
A poet a picker a sinner a saint
Sometimes a son of a ****
Relatively speaking matter of fact
Looking in the mirror I can see
Who I am not—or wish to be
I am who I am-not perfect—not trying
No regards –no regrets

This is the end of the innocence
Posted: 5/29/2007 10:48:04 AM
well don henly said

Remember when the days were long
And rolled beneath a deep blue sky
Didn't have a care in the world
With mommy and daddy standin' by
But "happily ever after" fails
And we've been posisoned by these fairy tales
The lawyers dwell on small details
Since daddy had to fly

But I know a place where we can go
That's still untouched by men
We'll sit and watch the clouds roll by
And the tall grass waves in the wind
You can lay your head back on the ground
And let your hair fall all around me
Offer up your best defense
But this is the end
This is the end of the innocence

O' beautiful, for spacious skies
But now those skies are threatening
They're beating plowshares into swords
For this tired old man that we elected king
Armchair warriors often fail
And we've been poisoned by these fairy tales
The lawyers clean up all details
Since daddy had to lie

But I know a place where we can go
And wash away this sin
We'll sit and watch the clouds roll by
And the tall grass waves in the wind
Just lay your head back on the ground
And let your hair spill all around me
Offer up your best defense
But this is the end
This is the end of the innocence

Who knows how long this will last
Now we've come so far, so fast
But, somewhere back there in the dust
That same small town in each of us
I need to remember this
So baby give me just one kiss
And let me take a long last look
Before we say goodbye

Just lay your head back on the ground
And let your hair fall all around me
Offer up your best defense
But this is the end
This is the end of the innocence

Marriage-the longest one night stand
You’ll ever have
Aren’t ya happy
Aren’t ya glad
Isn’t life a peach
Betrayal of trust
The phone calls you must
Endure
Good idea for the young
The brash-the unforeseen
Strong enough for life’s trials
And daily misconceptions
A contract for life’s little arrangements
Tradition of the old
Heartbreat of the young
Denial of one’self
esteem?
Ah,to the victor goes the spoil!

rythme and rhyme of the talkative mime'
Posted: 5/26/2007 9:24:20 AM
Looking through the tear
In the fabric of time
One is to muse
One is to rhyme

Will we be ok
Stumbling through life
Will we fix our woes
Or see how that goes
The rock the granite
father time
May have broken a main-spring
Paused to unwind
Stoppng to ponder-think
Refusing to start
swimming upstream
Occasionally
hard-sometimes-Prophetic is
looking silly –maybe pathic
well ticky-boo and howdy doo
in such days are these
dorthy has stumbled on way to oz
twisting-severely her ankle
giving us pause
for commercial break-
hight lights at five

Washed like pebbles on the beach
On the sea of life-cast-off of life
For a time to reminish of days and times
Spectator on the sidelines
So to speak-absent of desire
Of the fruit of life’s labor
And the pain it entails
Sentinels in white -mottled grey
Circle to delight on the entrails

A barbecue- you and me
Maybe a few close friends
Camaraderie spontaneity
May it never end

A few cold pints- do tell
Under the trees
Would go well
With savory smell

Life today complete
Gathering of minds
Nature’s retreat
From daily grind

I believe the animals have overtaken the zoo
What’s one to do?
Crackers run the night
Stealin’,dealing for a fix
Migrating from house to abode
Looking for a load
Cooking and cramping
Until their fill-next meal
Of the devil’s breath
Dishearting at least
Who unleashed this beast
That plagues our very existence?

Wish you were here—Pink Floyd

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Watch my heart take wings

Be predictable-reciprocal
Feel need to blame
Bask in your control
Rip away my soul- my essence
I plead –sate my need
Tear my world complete
Soon you’ll understand
Ringing raptures spires
On your command
Conspire to retrieve
Of your need

Don’t smash the mirror
For what you perceive
Don’t displace blame
For what you believe

You are your own saviour
Also your demon
Perceive your behaviour
Reciprocate same

Suffer the fool
He too has wisdom-common sense
Answers sometimes come-happenstance
Mystery speaks through
Open minds-exactly
Who’s opinion scholar or saint
Street-wise rogue scholar
No letters to be had
Sometimes elate-common sense fate
It can’t always be bad
Like the mirror –you do so effect
Cause what you perceive
Is what you project
The world is a stage
But we are merely players
As RUSH once said
Performers and portrayers
On this earthly bed

What’s so perfect about a stranger
I ask as I live and breath
Mind ya wouldn’t be much danger
Asking if I’d already taken my leave

It seems in my little city
We’ve become so self-absorbed
We’ve lost touch with social ability
Through media-imposed paranoia
Sterile society safe-conversational inept

Fate as ordained by heredity or otherwise
Must be safe,secure-so they advise
Spontaneity dry as dust
Innocence beholden no more

Polished by expected perfection
We point our finger
Senseless in our haste
Bumping into reality
What a fvcking waste

She whispers her goodbyes
She heads back to her side
Of life’s tracks forlorn
A wealthy man’s bride
Heart poor man’s sworn
Life’s dismal affair
Never again she does swear
when passion arises again
she will surely go there
