Why are MEN So Scared???
Posted: 11/23/2005 7:38:39 AM | being a guy, i can tell you that this man is simply this : a coward. he doesnt even want to take dating seriously. he probably wanted to just woo you into bed and jet the next morning. so he was probably right, you need someone who's more of a man and he respected you too much to pull his crap on you.
also from my experience, i dont get into long term relationships if i know they won't last. but i have the balls to tell my partner this. ive done this before, in fact, i had to do this with a female friend of mine who was getting to serious about our relationship. it was very very hard to form the right words that showed that i cared and respected her, yet tell her that I dont think that we where right for eachother. shes a beautiful soul and wonderful person, but i couldn't see myself being long term with her. thankfully, she understood and we still hang out regularly.
so yes. he took the easy way out by wooing you more and saying pretty words to you (yes, this is easier than being a man and confessing your -true- feelings to a woman). don't chase him, don't think about him, but rather do exactly what he said and find yourself a real man who can praise you for who you are. | | | |
