Hmmm, while I don't exactly enjoy the messages from fat/ugly/non white girls, I suppose it is better than not getting messages. Yes, I am shallow, but when a girl turns me down its because she has "preferences" but when I'm not interested in a girl that could out eat me and hasn't seen a gym since elementary school, that makes me shallow....

Why get one 50 when you can get two 25's.

Once women get to 50 it's like dating your own mother.

They all talk the same, say the same things, participate in the same conversations, read the same magazines, watch the same TV shows, and they are generically a homegneised product.

They tend to fall into 2 types, either running your own life or being selfish dead beats.

A lot of them by the time they reach 50, they have pretty much had it, which is the reason why so many men leave these relationships and go gay.

Would I like to be living with someone right now? Sharing the same space? Uhhhh not really. I kind of feel a little bit cramped with excessive dating and anything that distracts me from my goals and plans.

I'd like to meet and spend time with some one kind of local or "within range", or happens to run this route on a regular basis, to meet someone who like me, wants some safe, sane, STD free company on an occasional basis.

After getting over all the crap fest of the Jan 11 floods, I am now more or less in a position of being able to accommodate a special friend, and my home being presentable enough to invite one home too finally. :)

This reads as "how do I manipulate a woman to come to trust me and simply assume I am honest in the short term without having to go through the long term of dating and being honest."

You can't. You can't shortcut trust and their experiencing consistent behavior from you.
They are going to come to their own conclusions no matter what you do.

When I see that phrase, I think of someone who has thought themselves controlled in a relationship and so going forward, they are not gonna change for no one, no how. That includes never compromising on anything. Thus, when his date asks if they could go out to eat at a seafood restaurant, he can say, "No way. You knew I was a steak lover when you first met me and I'm not gonna change!" Saying, "what you see is what you get" is just another way of saying, "I'm always gonna get my way and I don't care what you want." Relationships with people like this are joyless and stifling.
