getting to know someone and becoming friends first is so much more awesome than the instant gratification of immediate sex...................................it really makes a man that much more appealing to me anyways when he shows that getting to know me as a person and friend first is important to him. Yeah for the gentlemen in the world that I am now just finding out do still exist...........

Funny to read your message today, because I too am a single mom with my own home and children and struggle with the same thoughts you have described here on a daily basis. I really believe I want a man in my life but do not really need one. I am very content with my life the way it is, just lonely alot and want someone in my life to keep me content and happy.

You should be more concerned about his drug addiction to heroin killing him before I'd be worrying about him cheating on you with another woman. Have you talked to him about getting help for his problem? If he doesn't he will surely end up overdosing some day and killing himself. His addiction is a serious problem and I fear for your safety also being around him.

Same thing happened to me with a guy on here today, that I met back in March. Friday he was in love with me and asking me to marry him, then no calls, no emails all weekend, never even told me to take a hike. Then today when I cursed him out in a email he told me he was out of minutes and I was wasting his cell phone time. He said he was different from the others, and would never hurt me or leave me. I am a fool and no exactly what your going thru, it hurts. Even more to know I was stupid enough to believe him.

I knew there had to be a thread in here about stupid people. So many gorgeous men here with so little brains it amazes me how stupid some of them can be. They only want you when they can't have you, then once they can have you they don't want you anymore, and they are the ones who contacted you. Still looking and optimistic but the stupidity of some people never ceases to amaze me.

Yes I'm sorry to say this has happened to me too, and it was someone on here. He too tore my heart out , made me fall so madly in love with him, went all the way to aski ng me to marry him, setting a wedding date, then nothing. Wouldn't return my messages, my calls ,nothing; didn't even have the decency to tello me to go take a hike. So I knp0w what your going thru, and I believe people who play these games otta be shot.

If you smoke pot, even ocasionally you are considered a drug user. I would not date you, but that is my preference because of my job. But I'm sure there are women out there that don't mind, but then there are those of us who do.
