Been fly fisherman ever since I was 12,going on 57 now.It is the best,Brem Bass and Trout.I started out with a 2 piece Fiber glass and a 3 piece Jap. bamboo,the bamboo was the best also was given to me by my Uncle,Still have them both.Don't make my flies but I do build my own rods now.Good to see this form is running and hope it stays,The Pack Rat

No Ma-am I stoped several years ago.Fletching is not a lot to learn.I still have my equiptment.I use Hoyt fletchers for my hunting as bow hunter rounds and a Bitzenburger fletcher for the other arrows.Depends on the fletching.Bow hunter rounds and indoor shoots I use feathers and the international shoots I use the small vanes.If you have a question feel free to ask and I will be glad to help.I also work with hunter safety here and I am certified.Good luck with your shooting.

Sniper where can I find Militec-1?Still use Breakfree and another syn.lube.Also I use molykote 55m in the slide guns and semi auto's,but about out of it.Also do you hunt ground hogs? Great sport for long range shooting.I used to take a trip to KY.every 4th of july for this.Later

Shot tournaments for 5 years.Indoor,bow hunter rounds,N.F.A. rounds.Use compound bow.Started with recurve for shooting fish,carp.Shot every day no matter what weather was.Had to to compete.Fletch arrows and made my strings.Have a great day and keep shooting!

Pandy does the Beretta do this with other mags?Sounds like you have a feeding problem linked to the mag.Try another one if it doesn't work let me know,or email or im me with your feeding problems,I have worked on a fiew berettas and other slide fire arms.Better on 1911 colts and copys.

Kelly believe it or not but it has happened.Cyl.didn't have enough clearance.Squib loads.ejector rod got loose.If it is made with human hands it will sometime cause trouble!The Pack Rat

Pandy you said your Beretta jams,explain what it is doing.Does it not pick up the next round or last round stays in the barrell.I have worked on some of them for that reason.Also get you some hot 38 specials to try in the Smith,this will cut down on recoil .If I can help with the beretta on jam-ups I will try.

Pandy understand bout boredom thats why I crank up and move the boat.Well the slide guns are fun to shoot but I am a single shot shooter.Also shoot a fiew Wild cat rounds in pistols and rifles.Also enjoy the comp-guns .Till next post.

Outdoorsman all that fishing and equipt and no custom rods?I use ABU and Pflugers.And I have a fiew Diawas.Been working in shop gettin things cought up so I can fish when weather breaks.Also dodging the snow,another dirty 4 letter word here.Was fishing a club tournament last year,my partner hooked up and I hooked a stump.Went to net his lunker got the fish just in time,plug poped out when I got him in the boat only to see my new rod and reel,just bought the reel,slide out the back.Tied on a Rattle Trap and went to work for 20 minuits.Last cast hooked new line and retrived my rod,AHHHHHHHHHHH.Only thing I ever got on a R.T.but concidered the plug paid for.Catch ya on the next on Bud.May have another story then!

Another 44 mag fan.N.B.I have been a fan of the 44 for years and as old Clint says ya hit what you aim at.Nice collection there Dude.I have a slide gun I took a 45 slide and lower with a 38 super bbl.Reamed it to 38-45.Slings a 158gr bout 2100fps.You have to make your own rounds for it out of 45acp rounds.Also worked on a Sendero for a shooter,was a 300 mag.Nice fire arm,installes a brake on it.

My Rick is a 360-12,Took the pick guard off and had 360-12 T inside.I bought it used in 1976 so don't know how old it is.Was playing some Led Zepp.songs and wanted a 12 string.Went to a music store looking for one.The owner said he had a friend that had a used one,went to look and it was a stereo.So I still have it.been several wanting it but won't turn loose of it.

Dan,save your coins and go for the D.E.I own one in 44mag.Great fire arm easy to work on and verry accurate.But if ya want the ultimate lay your havds on a T.C.Contender.It is a single shot and has the use of many cals. and barrell lengths.I have several different cals. in one from 17 to 45 LC.I used to hunt ground hogs in N.C.and Ky.anything under 200 yards was pistol shots for me.May sound far feched but true.My first ground hog was taken @75 yrds.with a 222 -10 inch bbl.Used a fince post for a prop.Good luck there and keep shooting!

Craww I have seen bass catch little turtles,snakes,and small ducks here.A bass when agressive will hit any thing.Bats well that is a new one on me.Been fly fishing ever since I was 12 yrs old,now54.Never gets old.Yall have a good one.

Thank you outdoorsman for your welcome.Been fishing all my life.Started bass fishing in a club a fiew years ago and didn't do any good,was before the club.Also want to start fly fishing for trout soon in the mountians here in N.C.Right now doing some clean up and winter repairs on equipt.of mine and those I was in the club with.Also waiting to do some surf fishing soon also.Catch ya on next post,Pack Rat

Ahhhh another great thread.Used to like to shoot,rifle ,pistol ,shotgun.Like the smaller cal.rifles=17,22,6mm.Any are great,shot skeet,and benchrest.Any one into reloading and need help will do.Been in to that since 1968.Hope to see more here.Later

JL hate to hear your misfortune but it happens.Did for me at 19,first one.Stayed drunk for a while then my father had a long chat with me and told me as I went on it would happen again.I told him it would never happen!Straightened up and went on.Also all my so called friends told me before it happened if we ever broke up they were going to take her!Well I am 53 now and never forgot it.Still single,but being a loner isn't for everyone.Keep a stiff upper lip and try again,maby I should have but well it happens.Good luck bud,the Pack Rat with a cast iron heart.

Hi to all and good evening.I will be spending Christmas with my Father and Mother as I have for years.I hope to spend many others with them also.I have other family also but no lady to call my own.Just never worked out.I take this as it is to be and the fall of the cards.Not complaining tho' there are others that have a lot worse.For New Years I may go and work with the band I do rodie work for and when the clock hits 12:00 I go out side and thank the good man up stairs for another good year,while the others there do the hugging thing.I am used to this so no problem.To all here form me hope you have a good Christmas and a great new year,the Pack Rat

May try this- all those other sites say they will boot you off if you put anything to id yourself.Well thinking of going back and changing mine on those others.Use a see me at yahoo on match and so-forth,see if you get booted.If they change it do it again,and keep on with it.It will at least keep them busy.Also one thing I did was put my picture on Yahoo=and haven't had any responces,LOL.If I can think of anything else I will.Use anything they tell you not to on those sites.P.O.F.and the members keep up the great work and good luck to all here. I also have been on these and other sites-free,but need your credit card no for ID perposes,Yea Right.One I paid for and the others I didn't.Started to get emails and winks from others but couldn't open them with out pay membership.Only thing I hated is if a fiew were legit,woundered if something was wrong.The one I paid on I called and talked with customer service,when I saw things wern't happening there called to cansel.No problem and they were good to their word-nuff said.I do hate this for others and their feelings.Hope all here do well and thanks to those who own this site as I started not to join cause of the rest of the BS sites.Here you have a good thing,again good luck to all,The Pack Rat
