Looks are important,they are the first thing you notice about somebody.

What i find attractive isnt neccassarily what others find attractive.I can honestly say i could not and would not date/be with anyone who i found unattractive.

The bloke i went on a date with weekend before last is good looking but not WoW,well not initially but to me is very WoW! He bears a striking resemblance to a certain boxer and not the one with the lisp either


I actually completely agree with you with what you say. Just like maself, a have people who am really attracted to and others a find are average or unattractive. That's life, we all have different tastes etc. A guy like maself has a number of lassies am attracted to who are attracted back.

All in all though, getting to the point, looks are important, but no where near as important as the person they are. If they are stuck up, their looks become **** all :)

A would never bother ma arse to even consider going with someone am not attracted to. That's what a call a one sided relationship, and to me it's very wrong. It's not fair on the other person, so a tend not to waste ma time. If a was to meet someone, it'd be mostly because of who they are as a person / interests. Looks to me is a preference, and of course I'd probably fancy who they are if I was to meet them.

However, if non dating, it doesn't bother me to become friends with someone, which is never a bad thing of course. But I'd never waste my time attempting to get with someone am not attracted to. Plus you get a lot of guys who just chase after a lassie to take a loan of them, which is wrong. A would never go out with a lassie unless a really liked her as a person and was attracted to her. If she wasn't that great looking, the only way she could possibly win my heart over is a long period of probably friendship.

A was aiming to walk the full distance of West Highland Way, the full 95 miles. And obviously if am going to do that, I'd probably get people to sponsor me on it, basically for children of need. Am sure what they do on that program is of good cause. A just find all the rest of it a bore.

Nah, can't be, I'm not long after getting my passport as well, and because it was ma first one, a had to go to the office in town to go for an interview. No way would the UK allow any other country control. No chance. That'd mean anyone could access this country then. That's something a seriously doubt.

And it's that strict that when a go to work offshore on the Oil rigs, they won't let me off unless they see ma passport so they can stamp it. Am currently waiting on ma survival training which comes up 27th April. And I've been told I need a form of Identification along with my passport. A mean you really think being that strict that another country outside UK would have control? hahaha I seriously doubt that.

But if there is a scandal, it'd be completely shocking.

When you have someone that tells you they love you far too quick, leave them as quick as you can. I think what I mean though is, the type who do have the opportunity to just get up and walk off, and am talking about those who may not even have a daughter or son. Yet she continues to stay with him because she LOVES him, despite the fact he's beat the crap out her.

I live in a 3 bedroom council flat all to myself I pay less than £220 a month no worries about losing my home because if I dont work I get benefit (I do work). My home is nicely decorated and really is a nice place to live. I never worry about repairs or have any worries really that a home owner does have. Rent every time.

Uncompromising? Very interesting. A think a relationship to a certain degree has to have compromisation. But then again, this solely is based on what the compromising is about. If I feel something is wrong, then no, a will not compromise, most certainly not, and a wouldn't be in the wrong for being uncompromising in that sense. But in most cases I'd go out my way to listen and compromise. To me it's important anyway, especially if a relationship is to last.

If I was told that I was never to watch my team again or even to stop doing a certain thing for the sake of them, then naw, I wouldn't compromise with them. If however it's something else, a problem, then I'd be willing to.

A never really took interest to the whole thing. A find it quite boring to say the least. Never found music videos that interesting. But to people that loved them, it's quite sad for them really. No big deal to me. Then again, a never quite got into the whole Youtube fad. Plus anytime you uploaded a video there, the sound quality was pish. Even Putfile had bitter sound distribution from videos. Then again, it wasn't exactly a great site either.

A fail to see the funny side in truth. Go through 98% profiles. When a joined this site, a was nice, a was very modest and caring, then a grew sick of seeing my nice messages ignored, deleted, thrown away like it was no worth, hell, I even went to the lengths of improving my profile. Studied all of that. Even that wasn't good enough. I even studied about making the headline of a message unique, so I done that. I done what I usually done, read their interests and all sorts and talked to them about that. 98% I messaged? Read and Deleted.

Maybe I should start messaging them and instead of complimenting them kindly and asking them a few kind questions, Maybe I should just ask them if they want to meet up for a shag. I lost patience in this site a long time ago, which is why I messed about with my current headline and took the piss, which is why I put out so many negative stuff out in my profile, cause I grew bored of being nice on here.

It seems to me that on here, being nice gets you absolutely bloody no where. Yet in everyone of their headlines you see crap like "nice girl looking for nice sweet guy..." it's plastered all over the website, yet their headlines stand no truth what so ever. A mean a have sent out very kind messages, cause am not the type of guy to ask to see their tits or talk about how sexy they look etc, instead a compliment them mostly on who they are etc, and show them a took a great interest, yet that's not good enough for 98%

The people who have given me the lowest rating looks wise are females in my own age group, I really couldn't care less. You go on and on about how modest you are, yet you then say several times how great looking you are and how you cannot understand why people aren't messaging you.


I have studied this forum for 5 months without responding much, and I saw what you were going to say, long before I even posted, it was clear you never EVER read what I said properly.

If you did, you'd then realise that before all of this happened, I was kind, caring, modest and done nothing wrong, I abided by the rules in terms of fixing and making things supposedly good so I could GAIN more responses. I was not arrogant (if you had read what I said) I was very modest, up until I took the site less seriously.

Does paying for dating site=taking it seriously?

If women are all a bunch of shallow money grabbing free-loaders, if you think so little of us, why are you here looking for one? Might I suggest, if you have sucha low regard of the opposite sex you get used to fancying a hairy arse or get used to your right hand as that's the only way you'll get the respect you think you deserve.

And in response to this, you obviously never caught my sarcasm. There was a part stating that the only guys woman contact are those who are rich. But it seems to me you've misunderstood and didn't grasp that simple concept. Not all woman are money grabbers. But the sarcasm comes from the very point that most on this site to me seem like either bots or fakes. And I think it proves my point with sites like Tagged which in my opinion aren't exactly soul based dating websites, which is quite funny to say the least.

I almost get the impression that a lot on this site are very intimidated by the words "dating" or "relationship" because you fire away messages to them, and even if you respond, they run a mile. Like I said previously, to whomever tries to back up and say maybe it was something I said, you'd be wrong, because if that were the case, why is there such a success rate elsewhere? What are the females all of a sudden different elsewhere? hahaha is it only a certain kind that join here?

I think the point am making is, there was a lack of quality as I say. So it really doesn't surprise me why paid subscription comes into this, because the age old saying is true. You really do only get what you pay for hahahahaha

And that voting page is nothing short than comical. If I was that unlucky in real life, I'd shoot myself! Best average I get to is about 3.5 heheheheh
It just goes to show the mind of some people on here. Farcical, comedy-like, comical and all in all grotesque cabaret.

I agree wih the sites you mention and I'd add WAYN where I got basically all my dates in the past...and is a travelers' site!

In fact, that's why I gave up long ago trying to date out of this site, this is why, on my profile, I have a message saying I do not contact first. (99% of the women I like)
It has simply proved to be a total waste of time and this is why I only visit for the forums.
At least on the forums you can laugh at the clowns rather than the clowns laughing at you.

And the statistic about (some) women? Well, where's the novelty? (some) Men get to be called players...but for every player there's someone willing to be played.


Exactly mate, a mean a try ma hardest, ma up most hardest not to come across as big headed, but a do not believe for one second am a 3 something rating. The rating is not really what bothers me, what bothers me is, the purpose of the rating is to get those who are interested in you, and when you only get 4 out of what? 24 you start thinking to yourself, not only is it rubbish, you have even less chance of getting someone who'll properly respond to you.

The positive thing I can say about this site is the idea behind it, it's just sad that a good site has the lack of good people, thus, this is why a think the paid subscribers might be ideal, because lets face it, in life, you really only get what you pay for. this is why I took the site less seriously, and made less effort in my profile of how I worded it and even added a wee funny thing about me looking like Colin Farrell for a laugh, because I really do take the site less seriously now.

And it's good to see people understand where am coming from.

And to those trying to back up the poor quality of users, save it. As I stated clear previously, my profile was different before, my ATTITUDE was very different before. In fact I put myself across as my normal, happy, kind and caring self, even in NUMEROUS messages, yet the response rate was quite funny to say the least.

And a just read something very funny. They only message guys who are A: RICH and B: Hot.

A: proves my point that they're GOLD DIGGERS
B: Am living proof it's false.

There's barely anyone on this site a know that are serious. The paid subscription thing is at least a good idea to show who's willing to pay in order to find something serious. What I find funny is, a vast majority of the site aren't paying, because most of them aren't serious. This comes to the conclusion that there's no surprise why this site hasn't been a success hahahahaha most people walk away from this site with the complaint that, most woman have their heads up their bumholes and from what I have witnessed, their wee "looking for a nice guy" statements don't even fall true to their actions. Actions speak louder than words, it's the truth.

In this world, you only get what you pay for. In this circumstance, if you want someone who will take you seriously, you are going to have to pay money to do so. On another note, because you'll seldom come across the profiles that are paid subscription they stand out from the crowd, thus possibly get more hits. That is in my opinion good.

I am not a big headed person, believe me, I am a very, very, very self confident, self aware person and I am also (can be) very modest of who I am, I'm modest towards what others think of me, and very self confident. The impression this site gives me is that 95 to 98% of the woman on here, don't find me even attractive, now, I can tell you right away that's the biggest shower of dung I've ever seen in my life. I get hit on a lot else where, you may then draw to the question of why am here then. I am here to broaden the horizon. After all, the main target of one of these sites is to find a date, or find a relationship, it's a dating website. Sure you can also meet friends, that's nice, but we all know the primary target. That's kind of why I joined here.

Am a very good looking guy, I know that for a fact. I can confidently say that, I've had fu** knows how many lassies say am cute, hot, sexy all the rest of it, yet for some odd reason 98% of this website avoid me like the plague even if I send a nice message towards them. and it's nothing malicious. My attitude right now what I'm typing is very different to what I type towards them, so don't go thinking it might be something wrong am saying. My about me in my profile I purposely messed about with it, why? because I'm beginning to take this site less seriously.

You know something. I've had well over 70 random people tell me I look like Colin Farrell, that's nice of them, I had no bloody clue in hell who the hell he was, a had no idea. Apparently he's some guy that's admired by a large female population. But you know, coincidently 98% of this website don't even find me attractive. Yet I could go to Zoosk, Are You Interested?, and most of all Tagged. Yet for some odd reason, on places like Tagged, I get a lot of lassies who randomly flirt with me, add me etc, etc.

5 months I've been on this dating site, 5 months, and the success rate is so below par it's unreal. Am not big headed, but I'll tell you what I don't like. Lies. The whole point behind the rating system for me is to find those interested in me. But you know what? Most of them rated me a 3. Now like I repeat, am not big headed, but my God, if this site is trying to claim that out of 24 people, that am a rating of what? 3.14% It goes to show you that whoever voted those were not only talking out their hole in their arse but of course not serious what so ever. I repeat, not big headed, but my god a know am not even a 5 let alone a bloody 3.

How sad is this site when there is more success rate on Tagged than this very website? You don't believe me? www.tagged.com/rfcno1scotty. I've put patience towards this site, but I became so tiresome of having to fit myself around other peoples needs, in other words, I needed to fix my profile and say what's on my profile in a certain way for me to get responses? Come off it, if that was the case, why the hell am a being hit on by people on other websites that aren't even solely based dating websites?

POF has it's critics, and critics as we know have a rightful voice in the matter. How many people have complained about the response rate? And for all of them all you get are the sort of people that try and back it up. Well to those who try and back it up, this is where you fail. Not only do I get response rate high enough on other social networking sites that aren't even dating, I when I first joined the site, studied, done everything to improve my profile to get responses. I even tried the whole unique messaging because they might get so many emails. But you know what you find? Even if you do get a response. It's from those who are here, on this website, looking for an EGO boost.

Am a person that expects a number of people to like me because a am a caring, genuine, honest, good looking guy. At the same time, like I stated before, I am very modest of what OTHERS think of me. And I expect a number of people to see ME as not their type. That's natural. But when you come off Tagged. onto this site and some how magically 95 to 98% of them some how magically don't give a fu** about you. You begin to wonder, is it me, or is there some serious problem with the quality of users on this website? I'd go with the actual LATTER.

People could sit and abuse me, call me every name in the book, I do not care. The bottom line is, am genuine, am honest, a speak ma mind, and if there is something I do not like, it's lies. And I'll tell you what else that gets on my nerves. People in this world, who only think about themselves and their money.

It's about time too they gave people the opportunity to pay subscribe, it shows you they are willing to pay MONEY to get what they want. Those who aren't serious and are here for an EGO boost? Oh trust me, the only ones looking for an EGO boost that'll pay money are those who are rich who wipe their bumholes with £5 notes. So the rating system I used in order to gain fans, you know? because they're people who are interested in you, so you'd get a better response rate, but some how people in my age group voted me away down at a 3. Seriously, I ain't stupid, I most certainly am not big headed, but 3? that's just a lie.

That is lies. It's proof that it is lies because I have tons elsewhere tell me am a good looking guy or sexy or whatever. Again people could say, then why are you here. Bottom line is, don't try to change and swerve away from the fact it's lies!

I am someone that is a member of MySpace, Facebook, Tagged and plenty of other sites. I can safely back what I've said up with pure evidence. The very fact the MAJORITY have communication problems and difficulty says something. What's this site trying to say? That 95% I message are not interested in me? That's funny, cause when I do that elsewhere, I actually get responses. In fact, it's quite funny, you get more response rate from daft wee applications on Facebook than you do on here hahahaha what's that tell you about the quality of users of this website?

So why has Facebook made that option to people? To bring quality users to the website, and rightly so. Give this site time, and more will join the paid membership. And you watch, the majority of this website? hahaha most of them won't even be on it. Because most of them were just here for the sake of taking the piss.

A wouldn't take a lassie to a restaurant on any first date, purely because a lassie can feel awkward eating with someone that's a total stranger to them. A think she'd much prefer perhaps a quiet bar or whatever to sit and talk. Then again, I think it really depends on the actual person. Some I've seen seem to think Paint Balling etc is a good idea? Am not too bothered, I let them decide. When it comes to drinks or whatever, I prefer paying the way, purely because am a giving person anyway.

Am very sceptical though, like when a start working offshore and will be earning good money, it makes me think more lassies will be interested in me, but then a think to maself, they only want me for ma money.

How do you spot a real homeless person ?

You'll notice the difference, because the homeless person you'll be able to tell mostly by clothing, most of the time their teeth, it can show an indication of how long ones been out. Other than that, I'm not sure what else to suggest here.

a don't look for ego boosts, believe me, am far from that sort of person, a come here to meet nice people and likewise with most people, come to find a possible relationship, the chances of finding that on here is slim to none :)
