Ladies: guy kissing you or asking to kiss you?

Asking for a kiss is definitely lame unless it's two boring, conservative prude types and, hey, to each their own! I think there's nothing better than when eyes lock onto each other and a sudden tractor beam of passion pulls two people together into a burst of ecstasy.. w00t!
I DO like a gal that is aggressive and assertive in her means but sometimes one must be wary about the gals that are TOO forward. I mean, my ex was one that would pretty much rape me and it turned out that she was like the community bicycle - everyone got a ride! LOL.. Terrible, I know, but oh so true. A kiss is only as special as the sincere emotion behind it; otherwise, you're just going through the motions. I, for one, will pass on the Judas kiss any time... Give me the real thing!
Getting back on-topic, some people are hard to read, mainly cause people do tend to put up walls or put on masks, but it's usually fairly obvious when any approach is fair play. I think the basic rule of thumb is to start off with the little things, avoid forced affection, be natural, let it flow, and watch for the signals. A simple kiss on the cheek or a gentle caress can reveal so much.. Heck, just looking into the right person's eyes can often say more than a thousand of the most beautifully orchestrated words.
( Yeah.. I just don't give simple answers. I have to provide a little essay. This is why I've avoided the forums on here! =oX )

Ever have a crush on a cartoon?

Oh yeah... Leela (sp?) from Futurama.. How could I forget her? Unusually-colored hair must be it.. I could get past the whole one eye thing. I dunno why but Katie Seagal's voice kinda does it for me. Go Peggy Bundy.. Grrrrr!

This is really wrong for many reasons but I love my redheads and, well, Ariel the Little Mermaid does it for me.. The whole fish tail thing wouldn't work out, however, so human form all the way! Of course, like most other males, I find Jessica Rabbit quite, errmmm, exhilarating. Someone on the first page mentioned Aeon Flux.. She's a bit too tall and skinny for my liking but her 'tude and "fashion sense" definitely makes her attractive!
On a much weirder note, I used to find Velma intriguing.. I bet she's a freak on the low, yo. LOL.. Kidding! Geeky girls in glasses are hot, though.. Not much for the overly "girly girl" types, really.
Throw in just about any vampire girl from an Anime movie and I think I have all the bases covered. =oP
