Chatting
Posted: 4/18/2009 8:32:55 PM
Hello Miss,

I have a great deal of respect for someone such as yourself who has chosen to give so selflessly and volunteer. It takes a special sort to do that kind of work, and it is most definitely a job, whether or not you receive pay for it. As for the louts you have run into here on the site...they are obviously not worth your time. Don't let their poor manners and obvious lack of vision (due to their heads being inextricably placed in their own arses) dissuade you. There are plenty of normal, nice, chatty people out there!

Cheers

Hands up and all say 'aye' if you are Irish and believe that means we are a unique race ..
Posted: 4/18/2009 8:21:43 PM
My father was the first generation in my family born in the US. His parents immigrated from Cork while my grandmother was pregnant with him. My family has always been incredibly proud of our Irish heritage. The Irish are a strong, steadfast and giving people. Generous of spirit, friendliness and wit. My father passed away a very long time ago, never having lived to see his "home" as he called it.

I had the pleasure and good fortune to have been able to travel to Ireland with my family a few years ago. The minute our feet hit the soil, my daughter and I began to weep. We had made the trip my father and her grandfather had only dreamed of. Everyone we met was gracious and kind. I have traveled and lived all over the world, but the trip "home" will always be my fondest memory. While I am sure there are plenty of native Irish who dislike being part of the tourism trap and dealing with all the "Yanks" seeking their presumed heritage, this was not my experience.

So, I am standing proud (Yank and all) with a loud and boisterous AYE. Thank you all for allowing me to post.

Cheers!

men in uniforms
Posted: 4/13/2009 5:00:01 PM
I would not be the one to help you get over this as you say, but why would you want to? We are attracted to what we are attracted to, right? I go insane for a man in uniform. Half my family are military. USAF and Marines. My son in law is a Firefighter (my daughter likes men in UNI's too).

Nothing hotter than a man in his AF dress blues or Marine dress uniform. Especially the latter. I have dated a lot of policemen over the years too. Maybe its the authority figure thing...not sure. At any rate, I like them!

Since women will only have casual sex with...
Posted: 4/13/2009 4:33:25 PM
Men do not have to initiate a date, sex or a fling. Sure, society seems to have presented it in that way. Men behaving as the aggressor when it comes to sex that is. I am a pretty confident woman and I don't need a man to make the first move. I often do it myself. Of course there is always the risk of rejection, but that goes with the territory.

As for us only going for "hot guys" well sure, no woman in her right mind would be attracted to an unattractive man. No more than any man would want to be with an unattractive woman. We look at the cover before we read the book. If I get to know someone and I like them, they don't have to be Brad Pit for me to want to talk to or be with you. I won't lie and say I have not gone for the hunk before, but I have been with plenty an average guy over the years.

I hope that makes you feel a little less like you are undesirable or that you have no chance out there. Not all women are so shallow as to only sleep with the "alpha males" you describe.

Good luck!

whats with women and harleys?
Posted: 11/5/2008 2:17:02 AM
Not a hog fan (harley's) I ride a metric bike. Kawasaki 900 cruiser. I don't ride it for the vibration. I could find a cheaper alternative than that! LOL. I ride it because it is the most exhilarating thing there is. Incredible freedom. Wind in your hair, the highway in front of you, smelling the pines as you breeze past. What's not to get?

Married Women Looking For Sex
Posted: 11/5/2008 2:12:56 AM
I am sure I am going to regret joining this thread, but here goes. I myself am one of those "sad" women. I have been married a very very long time (21 yrs). Spouse and I are in an open relationship and it works for us. He actually encourages me as far as seeking playmates (he has had his own with and without me present), as I have an extremely high sex drive. We are in a very tight, good relationship, love each other and do not disrespect each other. We have set boundaries and nothing is done without the others approval and consent. Neither of us are looking for a relationship, we have that. Sex for sex's sake, pure and simple. If that makes me loose or a slut, so be it. I am not ashamed of it, nor is my spouse. I am pretty open about this, as is he. I don't hide anything from anyone I talk to on this site. What would be the point? That having been said, just because that works for us, I would not tell someone else to follow in my footsteps. I have plenty of friends that are "in the lifestyle" and they are all in very tight, long term relationships. Those that are not? Crash and burn and its not pretty.
Thanks for letting me have my say...

How long can you go without sex or masturbation?
Posted: 11/5/2008 1:48:54 AM
Many years ago the longest I had ever gone without sex was 5 months when my spouse was deployed. These days, the longest I have been able to go without "actual sex" is about 6 weeks. Its sheer torture. Even if I am getting sex regularly, I am self gratifying at least once a day. If I am NOT getting sex at all? OMG. Well...last count, minimum 2-3 times a day. Guess its that 40's sex drive that's doing me in. LOL

I don't think I could ever be "master of my domain" hee hee...obstain? Pardon me while I faint!

Posted: 11/3/2008 2:25:28 PM
Sounds like a lot of fun. Love Willy D's, always a good time. Would love to know where most folks are meeting up before hand. Be nice to say hello and meet a few of you first. Look forward to a fun evening. So, we are to bring mugs? Nice that ladies get in free, you don't see that very much anymore. This is my first POF get together so I look forward to meeting some new people.

Cheers,
Lee
