I could since they have been together for FOUR years now-so there. Not all people have cheating tendencies, hon!

Women who left Verbal/Emotional Abusers...

1. I had help from his little brother (who was 18 at the time)who came over during a fight and told me he was sick of it-he put me in his car and took me to the police station while my ex-husband chased us in our pickup.
2. Mostly when even his own aunt told me that she was afraid she was going to see my picture in the obituary one day.
3. I had to move out of the place we were living and into a homeless shelter and he stole some money that I had collected for a Home Interiors party. Luckily, his name was first on the checking account that he bounced, and I could start anew. I was also lucky that I had a good paying job at the time. It made me much stronger and wiser.
4. NO, Thank GOD! Eventually in a future relationship, he was accused of child molestation.
5. No effect on dating sites-I don't put that in my profile.
I am now pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and plan to use it to get a job/career helping other women who are being abused.

Myers-Briggs Personality type...if you know it?

INFP Maybe since that a mere percentage of people have this particular group of traits is why I can't find a date? LOL. Guess the introvert part may put the kibosh on that-who knows. I have only gotten 3 replies and one was to tell me how ugly and BIG I am! Glad I am not paying for this membership!

You didn't did you?

Oh yes I DID! I was much younger and had left home to work for a carnival for a couple of years. They had tattoo artists all the time, and I thought I was in love for the long haul. I had "Rocky" tattoed on my left bicep. When we lost a baby to a miscarriage, the relationship fell apart. I guess I could have left it IF I had been a fan of Sylvester Stallone and his movies, which I was not. I had it covered up with flowers and if you look really close, you can still see the name, but only if I tell someone it is there. I do regret that since it's in such a odd spot and everyone asks about it if I wear a short sleeve or sleeveless shirt. It's there and I have no desire to have laser surgery or the money to get it removed, so it's there for life!

Amen tall amazon sister! Men's pants and ugly shoes. I feel your pain that's for sure! Being a six-footer myself, I find it hard to find clothes, too.

I say kudos to you for being a student as I am. I am 40 and a student, and I am doing it so I can have a real career. Whoever said that is nutso. I graduate from community college Dec 17th with my AA, and am thrilled to be admitted to the University of Nebraska! You go!!

People With Kids
Posted:

The reason I am leery of dating men with kids is the simple fact that twice I have gotten attached to their children only to have them end the relationship. The first one broke my heart worse because I loved his daughter SO much-I was not as hurt by being dumped as losing the love of his child. I have a daughter that I gave up for adoption when I was 17, and now I have a granddaughter I wish to spoil and love with all my heart. I would have to make sure after dating awhile to make sure it was going to last if they had kids. I love kids, too, just don't want any and I don't need to explain myself-lol. If I would find a great guy, and he had kids, it would not matter. I think it would be easier if they were nearing adulthood, however.

Has anyone made a point of dating tall women?
Posted:

I am a 6 ft tall woman and I sometimes feel that I may seem intimidating or something. I see so many tall men with short women-hee hee, but everyone has their preference, as I do. I am not ashamed to wear my knee high 2-3 inch boots though. Of course, I would prefer a taller guy, but I have no qualms dating shorter men, either. Most of my exes have been shorter than I am. I am just curious why you look for them if you think they feel unattractive? Is it so you can try to convince them of the opposite? I think my problem is I believe I am just average and that's why I have only had 2 dates in 2 and a half years! LOL!

put the claws back in girls -rating other womens pics
Posted:

AMEN! The claws are definitely out! not mine, of course, because I know how it feels to look at my rating and start to think I am not attractive in any way, shape or form! Then I looked at my age group and I had THE lowest rating there! Lordy, are we women catty or what? I know I am not a model, but I do know that I would not be posted anywhere to scare rats away. IF these ratings are of any consequence, then I am correct in wanting to date younger men-LOL!

Why don't many guys have the guts to say they aren't interested?
Posted:

It's so not a big deal to me if we never actually meet. If we are just talking online, then I don't feel bad if they just disappear. On the other hand, I just had a guy I had been chatting online with for a month and we talked about going out on more than one occasion. Once the date was set, I got ready and guess what?? He never showed up. THAT hurt! But, since we never really met, I got over it-fast, and oh, emailed and told him he was spineless!! Don't give up!

Would you date an older man?

artandsoul,
For one thing, I am curious as to why your profile says you are 18??? And if you are indeed 51, wow. If all 50 year old men looked as good as you seem to look in your pictures, then I could be changing my mind about dating younger men! Have a great day!
