i REALLY dont want to sound like an A$$
Posted: 8/20/2007 7:08:42 AM

he lives totally out of the way for me. i dont like driving so much and he's about 30-45 mins away depending on traffic so it doesnt really make sense for me to do that.

Honey, believe me 30 to 45 mins is nothing. Now 2 hours, that could get old.
Might just be time to move along.
Really depends how you feel about this guy.
If it really IS special, And YOU WILL know, and you WILL Know if he feels the same way, just remember that is something that does not happen everyday.

Good Luck, Tony

"Point is, don't use net shorthand, it's a huge turn-off. "

I think it's harder to read.

I have a different problem my self,
Some will write me back, We will e mail for a while, Then
BAM!!! Fell Off The Face Of The Earth!!
No explanation or nothing, Write them back and ask If/What I did/said wrong??
No Reply.
Maybe I come off weird or something???
That's pretty much why I say I'm ready to forget about the online dating thing.
Thanks, Tony

What do you all usually do?If you have been e mailing someone for say a week,or less even, And you think you would like to meet this person,How long do you usually e mail, getting to know each other a bit?
Is there a usual time frame, before you ask them if they would like to meet,or do you usually wait for them to mention something,or what.
I would really like to meet this person, but hate to say something *Too Soon*.
Hate to sort of "come on too strong" but then again don't want to wait "forever"
I really don't care for IM, so have just been exchanging a few e mails.
Thanks, Tony

Why do guys give cell phone numbers instead of home numbers ...is that a clue they are taken?

burkeclass said........
"if she wants my #
i give all 3 of them
home, cell and work "

Thats what I do,/have done (I don't have a cell right now)
I had been seeing a woman for a while, and she never gave me her cell phone # kind of made me a little mad.
thanks, Tony D.

18 year old girl marries a 40 year old man?
Posted: 12/24/2005 5:29:07 PM
I dont know, I'm 50, and there is this young girl, I think she is about 25, I would''nt mind asking out. I kind of like her, and I get the feeling she kind of likes me, but I'm just not sure.
Then If I ask her out, and she did not feel the same way,it would be acquired.
And I don't want to loose the sort of friendship we do have.
Or dont want her to think I'm wierd for asking her out.
Not sure what to do?
