There's nothing wrong with a pre-nup when the divorce rate is at 50% or whatever. You think people go into a marriage thinking they'll get divorced? But it happens and when it does, IF it does - you really want to leave everything you own up to chance?

Uhhhh. I don't think oral sex is gross. At all.
And she's pretty old. People weren't so open about sex that long ago. Twelve year olds are giving blowjobs in the back of the school building nowadays.
Not that I condone that, but still.
And I don't care what anyone says about it, "rimming" and anal sex, anal anything is weird and disgusting. The rectum is not designed for
insertion
. And licking someone's ass is not sexy at all.
My opinions, but I'm entitled to them.

My opinion is that you are gross.
IT'S EASY: people who don't like it...stay away, stop crying
No. You just said everyone has a right to their own opinion.
By rimming me, it's as if the girl was saying/thinking "I'VE GOT MAJOR HOTS FOR YOU...I REALLY, REALLY WANT YOU, DESIRE YOU, LUST FOR YOU...I SO WANT TO LICK YOU THERE."
WOW I LOVE YOU SO MUCH I WANT TO LICK THE DINGLEBERRIES FROM YOUR A$$HOLE.

Sex and other outrageous behaviour in teenagers???
Posted:
8/9/2009 2:12:53 PM
We think alike. I hold a this 15 year old accountable, just as I would my own children, if this would be the case. Did you read where I said, "Anywhere near that of an adult"? Your brain is not even done developing yet. The full capabilities of who you are to become, as well as this 15 year old child, is not done yet!
Well, I don't believe I ever said she was capable of being AS responsible as an adult, but just because she isn't on an "adult's" level of logic and understanding doesn't excuse her behavior. She's not too young to know the difference between right and wrong.

I know you aren't going to like this - but that statement is what makes you a child.
It makes me a child because my mother raised me to accept responsibility for myself and the consequences of what I do? It isn't my fault that many people today don't instill that in their children and get rebellious teenagers with no sense of self or moral responsibility.

Sex and other outrageous behaviour in teenagers???
Posted:

Hun, from two middle aged women, educated in the medical, psychology and other training, she actually still is a kid, her brain has NOT discovered that there is a WHOLE picture out there... Some kids are really bright and do, but something happened to this gal. If she had a home life that was stable, and she had been TRAINED to know that being a ho was bad, and causes pregnancy, she probably would have made better choices...
Um. My home life was not stable. My dad was never around. I rebeled against my mom, and I still do, and that's normal. Sleeping around and doing drugs and getting pregnant is NOT normal. It is not acceptable. It is not OK.
If you found out she had been abused and sexually molested for many years, would that give you any less of a need to judge her harshly???
Pfft. This is not some strange case. Most all teenagers act this way, because they're allowed to get away with such behavior. If you don't teach the consequences of life to someone they will continue to do the wrong thing over and over.
If a
teenager
is telling you these things about other people her age, how could you possibly argue? I know how kids my age are. They're given no responsibility.
But go ahead, people. Continue treating us like children. You'll get child-like decisions and actions in return.

Yes, a 15 year old is still a child. Their brains have not fully developed, and they can't use logic, reasoning,
or understand the consequences of their actions at any where near the level that adults can.
You're right. So right. If a 15 year old murders someone, lets just let them get off scott free with a little, "Now don't do that again, dear. It's bad. Do you know what that word means, sweetie?
Bad
. Now lets bake some cookies." Because of course they can't use reasoning and logic to KNOW that they did something wrong. God forbid they be held accountable!
I was never a stupid kid who slept around and did drugs and got pregnant. And I'm still 18. She has NO excuse for acting that way.
Sorry, I don't think forcing pregnancy, labor and childbirth on a child is a proper punishment, especially since the BOY gets off scott free (pun intended.) How does the boy face the consequences? Oh right, he doesn't.
Wah, wah, wah. I don't know. Perhaps you haven't noticed that life isn't fair? He would have had to pay child support if the child had been born and the mother had kept it. And besides, I never said "forcing" pregnancy on her was the answer. Hell, I'm thankful she got an abortion as well. Teenagers who don't know the meaning of being responsible should never have kids. What a terrible life said kid would lead.
Again, she isn't a CHILD. It's people like you who consider teenagers children that make kids the way they are today. They have no sense of responsibility, they can't think for themselves. We NEED responsibilities. We are not little children. We CAN think for ourselves. Let us.

I'll comment...THANK GOD. I would never force a child to suffer through the sickness and emotioal pain of an unwanted pregnancy and the torture of labor and childbirth.
Lol, a child? Fifteen is not a child. She made the decision to have sex. Last time I checked, sex was for grown ups. Not children.
All this is teaching her is that she doesn't have to face the consequences of her actions.
NOT that I think she should have had the kid. Man, what a sh!tty life that poor kid would have had.

I'm 18, and I was never like that at 15. I argued with my mom a lot and gave her hell... and still do... BUT I've never done drugs or had sex with a bunch of people. I had/have no desire to. It seemed stupid to me then and still does.
There is a reason why I don't hang out with kids my own age. I can't relate to them.
My mom still thinks I'm a bad kid, though. Wish she could see how other kids my age are.
Oh, and I grew up without a dad as well, so I don't see how the "not having a dad" argument holds water. I turned out OK.

Single 19yr old mom
Posted:
7/28/2009 4:46:24 PM
It sounds to me like you've become dependent on your child to make you happy. For example, you quit doing drugs for her. That's great, it really is, but why didn't you do it for yourself? You can't live for your baby. You have to live for yourself.
Children with parents like this, parents who depend on them, bear the burden of making their parents happy. And it is a burden. My mom has depended on me her entire life. She doesn't go out. She doesn't have friends. She doesn't date. Her life revolves around me. She "lives" for me.
And I hate it. I resent her for it.
I think it would help you if you could talk to someone about your problems. Maybe get some help. Your problems don't go away once you have a baby. You have to resolve them. All you're doing now is hiding them away and centering your attention on your child and that isn't at all healthy, for you or her.

I think those KY Jelly commercials are really inappropriate. And I'm 18.
So.
I also think it's inappropriate how the little 5 year old girl I babysit says the word "sexy." I sure didn't know that word when I was 5.
Oh, and your son probably just laughed because he was embarrassed to be seeing such a commercial with his mom. I pretend to sneeze when similar advertisements come on the radio in the car when I'm with my mom.

Dumb question or a good standard - no abortions
Posted:
5/18/2009 6:58:03 PM
So the death of an embryo would ruin your entire life? Do you realize how many embryos die just from the act of have procreative sex? Many more embryos die, the majority without the mother ever knowing, than ever are born. So just the act of having sex in order to make a baby kills embryos.
Oh man, please don't let this thread turn into an abortion debate.

Guns...how young is too young?

I think anyone who would let a child, especially one that young and even with parental assistance, use/fire a gun is a complete idiot. And I'm from the south, y'all. Lots of idiots 'round here.
Why the hell would anyone even want a child to be shooting a gun in the first place? I'll never understand it. I'll just continue to go with my idiot theory.
Also, note: I am not some crazy liberal who thinks guns should be banned from everyone. After college I plan to have my own, but for protection. Children have no need for them.

Dumb question or a good standard - no abortions
Posted:
5/17/2009 7:21:41 PM
I think two people should always be honest and agree on what they'd want to happen if a pregnancy occurred before having sex in the first place. Yeah, people change their minds when faced with the actual situation, but it's best to be on the same page.
I don't see a problem with you excluding women that would have an abortion. That's how you feel. Many women out there wouldn't have one. So, uh... have sex with them.
This doesn't mean you don't have to use birth control though.
I personally couldn't have an abortion (though I'm pro-choice), so I couldn't have sex with a guy who would want me to have one if such a situation presented itself.

My partner is extremely forgetful, especially in relation to time -- he forgets the time, the day of the week, the month, the year. Asked recently on the phone how old he was, he was floored, and asked me. He asks me what day it is at least once a day; it's just part of how he is.
I am reminded of the movie Flubber.
But to the OP's question, I could never put up with something like that. It would drive me insane. I mean, does he have a job? How can he maintain a job being so late all the time?

In my jurisdiction, flashers are put on the sex offender registry.
This would never work where I live. Not that I flash people or anything. Just clarifying.
Lock up New Orleans!
No!
When I moved into my new house, by way of warning, my neighbor directed me to the website that showed there was a sex offender on the street. As it turned out, the gentleman in question was a 26 year old man, living with his parents and his son. The son was the product of his relationship with his teenage girlfriend, when they were both 17. He actually has custody of his son, but because the mother was a minor, he was convicted of statutory rape.
This is really sad. I read a story about a kid who went through the same thing and it ruined his entire life. Ridiculous.

I think it's interesting how they didn't say if the girls had cell phones or not. Weird.
It's not like she dropped them off on the side of the interstate. It's not like they're toddlers. Pre-teens. It says they were around a shopping area. They could have gone in there and called someone to pick them up. Also, 3 miles isn't far at all.
I know if my mom had done that to me I wouldn't be arguing in her car afterwards.
It's ridiculous that they mention the price of her home in the article. What does that have to do with anything whatsoever?
