My account was hijacked. someone got into my account and emailed women rude things. I have changed my password. I would like to contact these people to let them know I didn't say those things and what happened. One of them blocked me already. Please help me. someone has logged in as me and emailed people extrimely rude messages. I want to tell the people that this person insulted and upset that it was not me but one person threatened to report me. Yea I guess it does fit with other relationship. but that is sooo broad a catagory that can mean anything. I think friends with benifits is not just an intimate encounter. Its close to dating. Its like short term dating or an open relationship. I was talking with a friend who is also on plenty of fish and she thought of the idea because she is involved with someone she met here and is leaving. Its more like a no strings attached encounter but lets still have fun together???? i am not sure. do you see what I am trying to get at here?

Affirmative Action is a way to try to balance the negative action caused by racial discrimination. White people allready have affirmative action. Most business is owned by white people. If two candidates are equal in qualifications and in education the next thing is how well they get along with the person doing the hiring. Many times it is based on race. Its easier for a white person to understand and trust another white person due to stereotypes and misinformation. what results is white people hiring white people even if the qualifications are the same. another situation is when a less qualified individual is hired or an individual is let into a college with lower grades or test scores. If this did not happen it would be a very very long time before you saw substantial increases in the numbers of minority students in colleges. Its like this: the schools that have the more affluent families get better grades and do better on test scores. this leads to getting into better colleges and getting better jobs. With better jobs you can send your kids to better schools. Also your education allows you to help your children get through school because you can do things that uneducated parents cant and you have a knowledge of the culture of education that you can pass on to help your children succeed. Hiring the lesser qualified individual or letting the less qualified student into colleges does two things: 1. it breaks the cycle of oppression 2. It attempts to end the cycle of poverty. It breaks the cycle of oppression and poverty by allowing those with the lesser education caused by the effects of slavery to increase thier chances for succsess in the work place and by increasing the chances that thier children will recieve better education because the parent make more money and can afford better schooling. The parents themselves can also afford to educate themselves and become more productive. If we dont have this the cycle will continue. And this will hurt the amercian economy. The alternative is welfare or letting people starve and die without medical treatment like what we see in other couintries...

North africans are many colors. However, you are right about the geographic nature of racial definitions. There is more genetic differentiation within a race than there is between races. There are "negroids" with blond hair and blue eyes and "caucasoids" with very dark black skin. These are obvious contradictions. But the point is that throughout history people have, and still do, believe in these racial definitions. Given that the majority of the population believes in race we have to deal with the misconceptions that have been used, and continue to be used, as tools for oppression. For example, the issue of jesus christ painted as a blue eyed, brown haired, bearded, white man. In an ideal world this image would not matter. But in the world we live in, that is full of people that are: 1. ignorant enough to believe this image is valid or 2. intelligent(diabolical) enough to manipulate people with the misinformation that can be implied with this image, the truth needs to be common knowledge. You may ask now what is wrong with people believing that christ looks like michelangelos uncle. Its like I said before the people that belive this MAY also be manipulated into believing that this justifies mistreating people that do not share these physical characteristics. The image is simply wrong. There is so much negative imagery about african people out there. This is just another thing that needs to be corrected. We have made some strides in eliminating segragation and slavery in the united states but they still exist. In other parts of the world and here as well. Changing the imagery is just one step in the right direction. If anyone needs sources of my (and much of sprada's) information i will be happy to email you a list of journal articles and books that document the archeological, historical records and also information on the migration of peoples in africa and based on genetics and linguistics...

so what countries havent you met people from rainbow? The library is a nice option. I would like to work there too! Those are true treasures that you speak of. They are probably the most important kind. The type that I was refering was at the bottom of the ocean. I would like the experience of searching historical records for a shipwreck, which would be treasue itself, and then searching for the ship itself. It would be great to learn how people do that! hey loca you should try skype. I havent had any problems with it computer to computer and I have had conversations all over the world. I think internet phone is a good step before a real phone number. Just so you can see If you will click at all. You can tell so much more about a person when you can hear the other persons voice. don't you all think?

I know this is true. But you dont have control over what is being written to you eiter. Is it that much more offensive in voice. Voice just adds a layer of emotion and verbal cues so you can read a persons reactions more clearly. If someone does something rude, hang up or delete the mail. I dont know it just doesnt seem that much diffent that recieving mail.

I know what you are saying. Its just that if I am out somewhere and strike up a conversation its ok. but online its like I am asking for the first born or to get married or something. Its not that big of a deal. the only thing that can happen is if I(anyone) doesnt like the voice I hear or what is being said. right?

Why is it so difficult to get a person to talk on a voice service like skype or msn or even on the voice function of POF messenger? Its not like these things are traceable and it is an easy way to know someone without giving out a phone number.
