That is the whole point Mr.Boricua!!!! thanks for bringing it up!.. Have anyone ever wonder why Mr.McCain had the nomination..?? Has anyone ever wonder why Ms.Clinton did not have the nomination..?? If You believe this is due to lack of support or because Mr Obama and Mr McCain are better "suits" for the JOB, YOU ARE wasting your time..!! I am not advocating Ms. Clinton. I Have issues that I desagree with her policies. BUT SHE WAS OUT BECAUSE THE OTHER PARTY KNEW THEY DID NOT HAVE A CHANGE WITH HER!! Same with Mr McCain. ! Do You really believe that the OTHER candidates on the republican side were LESS qualified than HIM..?? GET REAL.... PLEASE>>!! We have been decieved..!! They are nothing but puppets that are to the orders of the REAL POWER in Washington!! They're working to continue the same BULLsth. that is going on right now..!! If those who suport Ms Palin thinks( if they win) she is going to stay on the job more than 2 years. well.. all I can say is KEEP DREAMING..!! She won't!! They are just using her just like the other two. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

Obama's Lipstick on a Pig

The libs argue that the remark was innocent but since Obama made the remark so close behind Palin's speech with a reference to lipstick, I don't doubt the gaff really did offend a lot of people. Not exactly a way to unite people. McCain is correct in asking for apology and had Obama been more understanding of the diversity in this country, he would have made a clear and adamant apology immediately and the issue would have gone away. He chose obvious diversion saying he is JUST LIKE MCCAIN by using the remark instead of demonstrating real change and taking responsibility for his poorly thought out comment.

An issue created by Obama is the claim to be able to unite the country with that being the core of his "change". His associations were bad enough and he has abandoned some of them when they become too embarrassing but his own comments are another matter. He has a lot of patching up to do with those he has said cling to guns and religion. Like it or not, they are a very big part of the country, they are independent, not paranoid, and Palin is a perfect example. Obama not only seems inept at reaching out to these people but appears to detest them. You may see the remark as an innocent and even acceptable comment but he has again offended a great many Americans. The polarization from his actions is THE SAME OLD POLITICS, not change.

It wasn't a gaffe.
Obama was making a very clear point about McCain's policies.
McCain wants Obama to apologize to Palin--do you think it would be appropriate for McCain to apologize to Hillary Clinton for using the very same words about her? Obama does not owe anyone an apology.
"Enough!" is right; and it's about damn time.

Sarah Palin likened herself to a pitbull with her comment. "What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull.......LIPSTICK!"----Sarah Palin. No one else did that to her. She is stuck with her own self-comparison. It's on thousands of DVRs forever. When she made the comment, she didn't sound like a professional, nor a candidate for V.P. of the United States. Barack Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comment had nothing to do with Palin or Palin's original comment. The "lipstick on a pig" phrase has to do with the attempt to use spin to make a controversial policy position look better. "Lipstick on a pig" has never traditionally applied to a person, but to a methodology or a policy position. Even a child can grasp that.

Sarah compared herself to an animal. A pitbull. No one else did that. Let me tell you something about Sarah Palin: it looked early on like she could be an asset to McCain because of her conservative, small-town background. I was looking forward to hearing from her, and thought she would be impressive. Then she opened her mouth.....that's why the McCain campaign has been carefully shielding her from the press ever since. Sarah is getting a big media buzz now (because she's new); but it will quickly wear off. The more she speaks, the more she will be exposed as a blundering mess. Sarah is ready to crumble as soon as the McCain campaign cannot insulate or sequester her anymore.

This is getting ridiculous. Maybe the apocalypse is about to happen and Alaska is the refuge. I would go and be willing to speak in tongues while eating moose meat. This is starting to get on my nerves. I know I am not the only American feeling this. They need to move on!

McCain said the same thing about Hillary Clinton’s health policy. Obama used the lip stick as a metaphor to reject McCain’s policy – So what is the big deal.

He is old and can not remember. No, Hillary is a democrat so you can disrespect her, but not Palin. The bottom line is if a person is not going to vote for Obama because he said 'pig wearing lipstick, then GREAT. Who Cares!
