I had a great time at O'Aces too, I hadn't planned on going, but glad I showed up any way...Hillbilly Authority really rocked it for a country band....

or me, Kat ?

I did sign up for these 3 in the STL area (tonight), Shellie's bash, your party mid-Mar..they just so happen to be on my payday weekends, but we shall see, I may have to leave one of those early...gota save, gota save $$$

anyhoo...can't wait to see you tonight Kat and check out the 'do' in person!!

as far as those comments of long hair on guys go...I don't mind, just keep it clean; us women on the other hand, like things simple, easy to take care of..besides if we don't like it, it'll grow back and we can try another hair style! LOL

my 10yo has hair probably longer than mine right now; he's been growing it out since Oct 07, had it trimmed once, he wasn't a happy camper with his dad at that time but since, no more cuts. I told him, keep it clean or off it goes!!

I wonder how the Soulard activities went in spite of the cold and the wind gusts! Seems like it would zap some of the fun out of you!

Chaz usually pops on the forums every now and then, as far as I can tell he only missed last weekends party. He didn't say if he was in town or away. I was just curious if he was going to see HBA last night, could of carpooled!

Some guys look awesome with longer hair, some it doesn't make a difference and others not at all! It is up to each person how they want their hair. Us girls have more of a tendency to follow what they think others prefer. Us silly girls!

Yeah...you as well, Denise! LOL

The no long hair is just my own personal preference...never have liked the 80's rocker band look...have seen GORGEOUS men ruined (in my eyes) with such...Mark (Hollywood) from Shady Jacks is a perfect example of such....and he wears his in a braid! LOL Nita and I used to laugh about this often cause she LOVES that stuff, and I hate it. LOL

Denise...don't make me even more self conscious, chica! I posted a pic so it would not be so shocking...LMAO...still feels totally freaky to feel the wind nip my neck...argh! But everyone has been super about it...very nice and supportive...well, except for 4 honest abes who said, "Umm...WTF did you do that for?!"

Chaz was at my house with a bunch of us the day before he left...just hoping he is safe!

ok, here we go.. since I am like .. well you all know already and I am bored .. I am going to give you JMO

If I wanted to SHAVE my head I would do so..... of course I have a beautiful face so who needs hair right?

for me if the truth be known, I have a lot of hair but it is baby fine...so it appears to be thin....argh.. why can't something else be thin... OMG I am on a roll

So from time to time my hair will grow a little longer then I will go a little shorter... then shorter... then normally put a perm in it... then I hate that so I go and get it cut even shorter.. THEN I have to allow it to grow out so I can start that vicious circle again. I tell you... I can sure tell I am doing better... OMGGGGGGGGG I so want to get out and see some peeps... but NOT yet.

Mardi Gras Strat Style...March 7th!
Posted: 2/22/2009 10:59:49 AM
Thanks George-y Baby! We now almost look alike! Wait till I start tanning this summer, and we will!

Hope everyone is making their plans for the Mardi Gras at the Strat party coming up on March 7th!

Are there any Queen fans out there? Cause there is a phenomenal show happening the night before the Strat gig...called, "Celebrating Queen...the world's foremost tribute to the world's most popular music." You can read more about it at:
http://www.myspace.com/thebohemianrhapsodyorchestra

It's March 6 at The Music Center in U City! Tix are $25 to $35 and the main singer is a fishie here....they actually are waaaay beyond "just a trib band"....they do audience participation and more! If anyone is interested, lemme know...I am looking for someone who wants to go, and will drive in exchange for a ticket. :O)

Guess who? Me. Love Queen! May Freddies spirit live on! I wouldn't mind at all.

Heck, I think a lot of fishies would pay to see us ride and attend this together!

Honestly....I think they all sit with bated breath waiting for me to reply to this, as well!

Well....for fear of them turning blue and passing out...LOL...Let me just say I am waiting on Joe (the incredible voice of Freddie Mercury with Celebrating Queen) to work out meeting to pick up the tickets. :) Once that happens....well...SURE. If you feel like coming all the way into Jefferson County from your parts, and then out to U City. :)

It isn't as far as it seems. Queen related would be worth it twice!

Is his profile off? His pic doesn't show up lately.

It shows up for me...and all his pics are there, as well. :O)

But could be that we have corresponded before? I dunno how to tell if someone's profile is off...you do a search when you are not logged in??

He is on My Space as well.

If anyone is interested in this show....there are still both levels of tickets available through Metrotix....Joe may have them??....contact him at the above link. :)

We talked a long time ago. His pic used to show up on the random pics across the top of my screen till just this last week. I might have him on my myspace, but can't access it at work. Darn fire wall! Lets me here and on CL but not on my space!

Odd.... I can't bring up anyone's profile all of the sudden! Not even my own. Don't know if it is POF having changes/updates or the system here at work!

Anyone else having issues?

OK...tis officially on....another impromptu gig this Saturday, at 5 O Clock Somewhere in Barnhart.

http://forums.plentyoffish.com/datingPosts11873005.aspx

The band is 'The Blame" which are self-described as "Any genre of music you like dipped in Nashville hot sauce." I will be honest...their page music drives me INSANE...but I am a rocker girl! LOL

Is that a good insane or a bad insane... makes me think it has a country twist... which could be bad for you, but the hot sauce makes me think good...

Bad insane for ME....but I do not think it is THEM...I hope not. LOL

Again, *I* personally do not care for country...but I also sent them a note and asked them to mix it up as much as they could...country, country rock, rock, dance...cause the bar said that is what they do. :O)

Cool. I don't care for dancing to country as much as classic rock. But I do love my country on the side. (Don't have to have quite as much coordination w/rock)

Excuse me? I certainly hope you did not take the liberty of taking over my personal correspondence with him? "We are all set for the 6th?"
