If as you mentioned in your worst case... wait it out in your car then be sure to turn your ENGINE OFF. Someone pulled into the parking lot where I worked once, put the car in park and went to sleep it off. Police checked the car and arrested the person for a DWI because the car was still running. They said as long as the car is running and your behind the wheel, then your driving.

Actually, if the keys are in the ignition, period! That's the law! Argh!

Which kinda sucks actually... so if you need to sleep it off in the winter, you might just freeze to death. lol

And those silly ole politicians and po-po wonder why we drive drunk?!
(Disclaimer: Kitty Kat does not drive drunk, nor endorse driving drunk AT ALL...it's just my smart ass self!)
Soooo....a little birdy popped onto my window sill and told me that there is supposed to be some kick butt PaRtY this Saturday? At Hazzards? Anyone else hear this news? Anyone else going?

Did you know that one of your politicians is swimming in our pond? A Jeff Co one at that. He was at the Mardi Grau party.

Anyone going the the circus at the Family Arena this weekend ? I'm taking my youngest granddaughter tomorrow to the matinee. Let's see how much lighter my wallet is when we leave..lol

he girl, just as long as it's not so tight you change your mind about tomorrow night at Crazy Horse LOL
enjoy; I have never been to a 'real' circus
but used to watch them on tv all the time

*Kat ponders popping Skipper, or using "the circus" as a new theme*
Denise...I would strongly suggest you GO to the circus, then! EVERYONE needs to experience such, even if from the cheapest seats in the house! If you go early, you can usually get in on some behind the scenes practicing and such...elephant rides...clown schooling...more! And one is NEVER too old for the cicrcus!
Karen...havva blast!! I might have joined you with my grandson, had I known it was in town!
Posted: 3/28/2009 7:24:31 AM
most likely another time for the circus for me ~
I'm not going out in this wet stuff more than I have to, I'll save it all for later this afternoon!

Whiskey Dixon really is one of the better "country rock" bands I have heard! Lance, you would LOVE em!
They have a webpage http://www.whiskeydixon.com/ and a My Space page as well...the latter has some of their tunes on it, but no real play list.
Doesn't 5 O'Clock have $12 all you care to drink, Kevin?
I think Shell & I might be at 21 Rock tonight. If we change our minds, we may come by there! We also considered Kenny's. BenWahBob is playing at 21. :)
You all have fun tonight in Wentzville (who are going)....we would love to join ya, but too far with the idea of impending snow!
Posted: 3/28/2009 3:07:09 PM
JaegerBombs are the....bomb! LOL
Yeah, $15 is still reasonable if you like to get your drink on!
I dunno what 21 has anymore...been a while since I have been! It's the closest bar to my house, and Shell and I wanna stay close in case of snow. :O)

Hey! I am not the only one that was getting duplicate posts! First they weren't showing up then others were duplicate! I think I got the dupes deleted....
Friday evening with any luck will be a great night to get Pizza or I was wanting to try out a place called The TRIUMPH BAR & GRILL in the Grand Center. They want too much cash up front to host a POF party, but I want to check them out to see what it looks like to maybe have an imprompto gathering. Maybe a happy hour thing for us. There are a few places I want to do this if anyone wants to turn one night a week into an exploration night!

Darn, my post did not show up.... I will wait a few and see what happens!

Hmmm....is THAT what is going on? I have posted a few times and thought these yummy drugs for my injured booty, that I am on, just made me click CANCEL instead of POST...so I went BACK and hit POST...have not seen dupes...yet. LOL
Will be interesting to see if all these posts are doubles?
(Nope...did it AGAIN...argh...looks like I will have to delete a bunch, as well!)

Happy attitudes! I love it!
Friday around 5 any one up for trying out the Triumph Bar and Grill? Check out the moto museum?
Posted: 3/31/2009 7:17:06 AM
^^I am in the process of planning an event there, in a couple of months!
Working out details...the band I would have is good friends with the owner! ;O)
Posted: 3/31/2009 9:09:29 AM
I have been talking to them for over 3 months. They say they don't allow bands. And in order to use one of the larger rooms, the museums, they want 2k up front. The bar area only holds about 50 people. I was going Friday to try and work things out.
