I think we should try to get a group together one night to do Wild Country. I know that we can call ahead and get a section reserved if need be and on friday nights it's a dollar long necks.

O'Aces has decent food, Bay! Their salads were HUGE...Nita raved on their fish sandwhich, as well! Tonights food specials are AYCTE fish dinner and/or BBQ ribs. Drink specials are just the Bomb drinks and shots and they are not that "special" if you know what I mean. LOL And the band plays some southern rock, too! :)

Have not been to Coaches since....well, about 8 months or so....notta bad place...some odd people hang there! LOL

Rich's is right by my Dad's....maybe I should see if we can all crash at his place Sat night?! LMAO He does have a HUGE gameroom with pool tables, arcade games, a bar, etc....

Not sure who all is going to O'Aces tonight...Nita is still up in the air, George, Lance, Me, maybe Sherry and Mark, Denise, Susie, sounds like Sheila?

Wild Country is 18 and up which is perfect for POF because we have people on here that are under the age of 21, this way it incorporates everything.

Sorry...I gotta agree with who pointed out that WC is a 18 club...ick. No offense to the young uns...but mixing teens with adults in an adult environment...not good. Just my two cents...but you go there as often as you wish! :)

I've been fighting a headache most of the day, just figured out why..no caffeine at all today..duh!! I believe to make it go away I'll mix a little rum with my Coke tonight but not the Captain, as I'll be driving myself.

I thought I'd head over from here around 8 or so, maybe a tad earlier.

Have to agree with Kat on that. I like going to country bars as well as other bars but bars are just that! I have a son who is 16 and it would like be like me telling him at 18 he can go out to a bar. And you know that these yungin's drink there. And are to stupid not to drive. To refresh anybody's memory take a look at the halloween party pics where Kat's daughter and bf were in an accident. Not saying it was caused by drinking but this is what could happen. If I thought I could post on here what my 2000 Dodge Caravan looked like after the accident in 04/05, it would make alot of people stop and think. And no I wasn't not drunk that night. I fell asleep at the wheel nearly killing myself, injured the other driver pretty seriously and if it would of been a few cars later it would of been my own stepkids I would of hit. More than likely would of killed them with them being in a car and me with the van. Thank God all 4 of us have moved on and living our lives one day at a time.

Okay now I am done ranting and raving.

And it WAS caused by drinking....as much as I hate to admit such. :(

It is not even the drinking/driving issue for me, cause it would be unfair to blame that sort of thing just on the younger crowd...but bars are ADULT establishments...and teens and adults do not need to co-mingle in a social atmosphere, in my opinion.

OK...we are heading out shortly...so see you all there!

Also, tomorrow, Metal Studz is playing at the Phoenix, and 80's hair band sort of thing...and Nita loves them, so a bunch of us girls will be there tomorrow...all welcome! :)

That was one of my points that I was trying to make. Just didn't quite get across the right way.

All have fun tonight! Wish I was with ya's!

fun had by all, my headache remained throughout the night..Kat suggested coffee, blah, no thanks..I had only one drink and Bay who offered to assist me home if I happened to get plastered left early so I didn't get the chance but I didn't really feel like it anyway.

We had quite a group there, another mini POF bash;

Lance, band was awesome; thanks for the heads up on it!

I had a nice time lastnight, and let me chime in about the band, it was an awsome band. It was nice to see u fishies again and nice meeting a few new ones. And it was great not to see any line dancing. LOL

And Bay it was nice to get a chance to chat with u for a few. Good to see ya man. U called my bluff to make me eat my words LOL

Don't know if this body could handle 2 nights back to back of dancing lol!

Glad to see all had a good time.

alright, someone asked, however I attempted to browse what else is going on where in STL tonight, however some sites don't have their bands listed:

O'Aces, Twisters, That One Place
either they don't have a band schedule at all, or their site is being worked on OR they still have OCTOBER up...

BBB, St. Charles
Joe Dirt
Classic Rock
No Cover

Helen Fitzgerald's, Sunset Hills
Extremely Pointless
$6 cover most of the time

Phoenix, South County
Metal Studz
$5 cover most of the time after 8:30

House of Rock, South County
Every Picture Tells a Story, Rod Stewart Tribute
I have seen this and it's a totally rockin out time with Big Time Crush doing the honors!
$5+ cover, not sure
