I'm going to see about getting a group together to go and see the movie Twilight, it's based on the Stephenie Meyer series that rocks. Let me know if anyone wants to go, otherwise I'll just go alone.

LOL, yes, Suse...you read it here....Hillbilly Authority was actually quite interesting and I liked them....really enjoyed the keyboardists talents, and the fiddle, of course...nice to see such a variety. :)

hey, there is nothing wrong with that one bar in Winfield. Sometimes it's nice to just one bar in a small town, you know where to find your friends on the weekends. Hence the reason that I drive to St Charles or St Louis to the bars, I don't want my friends finding me.

I believe Hillbilly Authority is playing at Callahan's in Arnold, not sure of exact address on that weekend of November 21; maybe Lance can update us on this.

I currently only have shopping plans for Saturday the 15th, during the day, so I'd be available for night life Fri & Sat night if something is going on! My honey is out hunting this weekend, AGAIN so I'm free to roam LOL

Floating holidays work out great as well, you can put them all together and take off a full week at a time.

Hey all....

Well, I was intending to stay in....but my twins had their 21st birthdays yesterday, and Ash is going to be celebrating such, on Sat, at THE PHOENIX. :)

The band is Johnny Rock Itt....supposed to be an awesome band...you can see their songlist and more at http://www.johnnyrockitt.com/home.asp.

Also, PAY NO COVER by letting them know you are with ASHLEIGH's birthday party! In a couple hours, will know any specials...probably happy hour pricing all night...will let everyone know, shortly!

TONIGHT???? I thought you were making an event of it, in Dec??

Can't do tonight...but definitely am up for it another time...love the wineries, and this one sounds unique with their customized wines and labels! :)

STILL waiting on details from my guy at the Phoenix, but about to say fawk it and take it elsewhere. They have been begging for the business from us Fishies...and yet they cannot return a simple phone call?? Argh?!

OK...here is the scoop for anyone interested in going to the Phoenix, this Sat Night!

No cover if in by 8:00....$5 after...though I think he said half off to fishies?? (Sorry!)

$3 "You Call It" Drinks...which basically means any alcohol that is $5 or less, is now $3! This is better than the rail drinks for those who drink things like margaritas, cosmos, martinis, amaretto sours, etc...

$3 Bomb Shots...all...cherry, jaeger, etc...good deal...Jaeger Bombs are typically upward of $6!

$1.50 Draft

$2.00 Domestic Bottles

And...the band has changed, Johnny Rock Itt cancelled...It is now 'Audio Diary.'

Their MySpace page says they are rock...Frank said they are an up and coming, in demand band....apparently they have played UMB pavillion at one time....so...dunno...check out their page?!

Please shout out if you intend to come so we know how many tables or seats to save.

Hmmm.....^^^this sounds awesome....and I just recently mentioned wanting to go to City Museum, soon! I just might do this if I can round up someone interested in going....if so...see you there, Jim! Not sure I would do the dance part...but would definitely observe and do the rest of it! ;O)

Checked their website cause my daughter used to go all the time, and said it was $5 after 5 on Fridays....here is some additional pricing I found:

World Aquarium is available only with CITY MUSEUM admission. Add $6.00 to the CITY MUSEUM admission price.

Parking is available in the Serpentine lot located on 16th Street for $5.00. Additional pay lots are available across 16th Street and across Delmar. Metered parking is available on street.

Well, it's most definitely late notice, but went ahead and green linked the Phoenix deal since they are creating such great deals....and there will be plenty of tables and seating.

So...

Skippy! Your host pics are HUGE! LOL What happened??

Hope to see some of you tomorrow night at the Phoenix...well, all of you, but still...LOL.

Not sure on tonight...either House of Rock where my fave local band is jamming....or the City Museum gig...or my couch and popcorn and a movie! Hmmm....which do YOU think is screaming loudest?? ;)
