I would be very interested in finding out from Dr. CrazyDiamond97 what medicines are out there today that can give a diabetic back all the lost libido that has been stripped from them. Diabetes doesn't take away the desire for sex only the ability. Take pills to get hard but still doesn't give the person the ability to preform.

I might.. depends on if he was unwilling to do anything about it, or unwilling to find alternative means of satisfying me...

Absolutely! The fellow I was engaged to wanted to marry me 8 months after engagement. BOY am I glad I did not do agree! He did not even try. He threw in the towel. I found out he was taking meds that interferred and still, he did not even try.

Time is precious when I find it and I sure don't want his BUTT watching TV
I've opted for men younger than me as a result with my last mate, he was three years older.

Gosh, the best way to express yourself is during the ART of Lovemaking. I'm sure not painting it all on canvas-having repressed expression.

Sex......money.......family........the three reasons most leave another and/or get a divorce.........and it does not matter the gender....

As equality has entered the relationship boundaries much more, with the ability of each person to survive and thrive on their own, so has the demand for satisfaction in multiple areas.......and the importance of sexual satisfaction is one of these.

When men did it, the name calling was significant, but now that equality has entered, and a woman's sexual need and satisfaction much more understood, accepted, and demanded, so are the options considered when that demand is not satisfied......go figure!!!

Just my opinion.......

I deeply love my husband and I couldn't imagine myself without him - I also couldn't imagine myself without sex either! Sex however isn't soley based on his erections and penetration! Sex is a whole mind and body experience! I would certainly hope we have other options to satisfy our desires! Love, understanding and communication should keep the fires stoked!!

No I would not, the flacid penis can still satisfy my clit and bring me to orgasm. No way would I leave my man if he were impotent, there are alot of other ways to bring him pleasure and for him to give me pleasure also!

Yes, he has. The doctor put him on Levitra too. But, he does not take them because he gets a headache. He thinks sex is overrated and not the most important thing in a relationship!

It would depend on how the communication went after that. I'd want him to pursue some sort of health care for the problem, whether Western or Chinese Medicine (acupuncture and herbs). If he resisted that because he thought sex was "overrated", then yes, I would leave. Sex is incredibly important to me in a romantic relationship, and there's no way I would be happy long-term without a satisfying sex life.

impotent? depends....as most say......if we already in a serious LTR......then No I wouldn't leave....as long as he's willing to try to fix the problem....and take care of me in other fashion..

PE: at my age......if a man hasn't got that under control by now.....I'm probably not gonna stick around long

If his desire to be close and sensual is gone it would be a problem. The lack of an erection can be dealt with. Lots of ways to play without a full peter. Touching, teasing and just being close are such a very important part of a relationship. I am definitely a sexual being, but penetration isn't the only means to sexual pleasure. The mind is the greatest sex organ!

I love reading these threads - Especially the women's responses.

It brings a smile to my face knowing that women are just as horny as we are - if not moreso.
