there r tons of things that turn me off:

pple who whine about themselves with their woe is me stories with such sarcasism that u just don't want to hang around them, they beg for ur company but u just wanna run and hide as they r so negative and to top it off they say u owe them one . Had a friend who is doing this to me right now and i DON'T think i wanna be their friend anymore.

The right and proper adoration of chocolate can never be considered an addiction!

Agree!
I say cover in chocolate all those men who posted a photo of themselves shirtless. (gag) What a turnoff!

People who don't make sense. People who talk in riddles and then laugh at their own jokes. People who talk loudly when I am trying to enjoy some peace and quiet.

However, for the most part, I still think instant turn-offs for me tend to be physical and have a lot to do with grooming and cleanliness.

Beyond the physical...what reallyreallyreally turns me off is negativity...

When people say things can't be done and won't even consider any other possibilities.

I find it a real turnoff when people are rude. I get really worked up when you try and be polite to someone and they ignore you. Holding a door for someone who doesn't thank you is also a real turnoff.

Yesterday, I witness a father opening a door into a bank and didnt even bother to hold the door for the kid and wife behind him.. just kept walkin on
the door almost slammed on the little boy til the mother came and help it open
this kind of rudeness and ingorance is a HUGE turnoff

1. One who brags and brags about themself.

2. I don't mind the long profiles, the short ones make me go to the next. Something to hide? Might as well say what you can, and list as many interests you have.

not knowing the difference between "THERE", "THEIR", and "THEY'RE"

Let's not forget "two", "too" and "to".

It is surprising how many don't know the difference between these three words which have very different meanings.

Having recently visited another country and witnessed the behaviour of certain fellow Canadians, I can say without a doubt that some travellers behaviours while abroad, can be a HUGE turnoff!

oh yes... joyful experiences via plenty of fish

- mouth that smells like a back alley in Chinatown during a sanitation strike
- lies and more lies on the profile.....age, smoking... 10 years older.... smokes dope and tobacco?
- checking out my tonsils before I even have my coat and shoes off... yuk
- bragging/boasting
- whining
- regaling me with stories of all the ex's
- showing me the scars... in a restaurant...and the story... we just met!! Gads!
- diagnosing me with several mental illnesses withing two hours of meeting. "They" wouldn't let me work in the health field if I was "mental" !
- suggesting stopping in a sex toy shop on the way to dinner! on a second meet!

What an adventure this has been

People who belittle others, especially in a public place. I have seen both men and women do this to their spouses and its just plain rude. Why anyone would put up with that is beyond me.

Other turn offs really bad teeth, nose picking...lol..it does happen.

Being rude to anyone but especially waiters/waitresses..this is a RED flag for someone who cannot control their temper and are just plain arrogant.

Disception - If you lie about the small things, you will probably lie about the bigger things in life...how many age mistakes have I seen and saying, oh i made a mistake I am actually ten years older than what is posted but I can't change it....DUH

Maybe I should go look for more "turn offs" . I feel left out.

Actually, I think toenail fungus is fairly common. Many people may not even know they have it. The culprit is not bad either. If you shower, bathe, or swim, make sure you dry your feed properly because if you could end up with toenail fungus. At least, this is my understanding of this sort of fungus.

Athletes foot is also fungus related - I believe and I can forgive that.

Mouth and teeth fungus are seriously repulsive.
