Married With Children ...Page 2 of 2    (1, 2)
Al: "Bud, You know what I'm thinking?"
Bud: "Luscious Hooters"

Al: "NO!, but I should of been thinking about that earlier"

What made it so good is that it didn't had those emotional sad moments, it was just all comedy!

I didn't like the first episodes, Al was just too angry instead of a dumb oaf!

LMAO ... The only quote I have in my head right now is
Al: "First thing they teach you when you are a rookie shoe salesman is that when you have a fat one in the chair never look up. Well I looked up and saw underwear that said Saturday"
Peg: "So?"
Al "Today's Wednesday " *sobs*

Yeah they didn't have the sad stuff except when the viewer feels bad for Al or Bud.

I watched the show religiously. What was Al's organization? NOMA'AM Funny, biting humor. Then they all went their separate ways. Ed had a short stint as some detective in a remake of Dragnet. Kind of miss the old show, though.

Wooooooah, Bundie!

That was a pretty classic show, easily one of the best shows in that era

God, I miss this show. Thank God for the DVDs. I'm always in tears from laughing by the end of each episode. And "A Bundyful Christmas" is required viewing in my house during the holidays. It's too bad Ed O'Neil was typecast forever as Al. He's a great actor.

tallmat1972 :

As successful as Married was, that is probably the reason the "unhappily" show wasn't even considered to be put on dvd. Pure plajorism if they tried.

That makes zero sense, Ron Leavitt created both shows. I guess if he was still alive he could sue himself for plagiarism

I'm a huge Married With Children fan, watched it from it's premiere to it's finale. The only thing I disliked about the show was the annoying brat they brought on- Seven. Thankfully they were smart and got rid of him. I can't remember which episode but it was one of the ones right after his character left, you can see a milk carton with Seven's picture on it.

Peggy Wanker, don't bother to thank her...
Connie Bender,bring a friend,it won't offend her...
Love that show, still watch it a couple of nights a week.
Al Bundy is my hero... who else once scored 4 touchdowns in a highschool football game.. actually Ed Oneil made it to the final cut for the Steele curtain back in the late 70's.

My favorite episode was when their lazy dog "Buck" is impregnating all the female dogs in the neighborhood. The neighbors are furious and Peg orders Al to get Buck neutered. Al has a dream about post -neutered Buck, remembering the man in a dog suit (beer in paw) sitting and grieving on the couch with Al... hilarious.

Does anyone think there's a resemblance between Judge Marilyn Milian and Peg Bundy?

Al Bundy was ahead of his time... Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin owe everything to him!

A classic. You can still see some episodes on Spike TV I think on Sundays, but I'd rather have it on DVD personally.

I love the episode when Al tries to get the trophy back from his old high school rival, the guy who played Hightower in Police Academy.

One of the funniest shows ever. I loved it when Al made those chicken jokes to Marcy.
I hear the song Love and Marriage by Sinatra, I think the Bundy Family

It's on Spike TV all the time. But you're right, it is still one of the funniest shows ever. Married with Children, MASH, and Seinfeld are probably the only sitcoms to still be funny well after they've been canceled.
