A Complete History of My Sexual Failures....So funny, one of those movies that makes you laugh but behind that facade is a world of brooding questions about yourself and your prior relationships.

'Stuck'- Inspired by an incident that was in the news a few years ago. A woman(Mena Suvari) hits a man(Stephen Rea)who gets stuck in her windshield. So instead of getting help, she parks the car in her garage to leave him to die. Stephen Rea was excellent. Directed by Stuart Gordon(Re-Animator, From Beyond)

"TAKING CHANCE"......True story about this Marine officer that volunteers to escort a young PFC's body home to his family, simply tells an amazing story that anyone regardless of there political belifes will appreciate.......HBO simply rock's with the "QUALITY" programming they put out.

I have also seen this movie. I am involved with an oganization called Soldiers Angels ( Sorry for postin the link but this org does a lot for our SOLDIERS. I pretty much sat with tears fallin through this whole movie. I never realized, or I should say I never knew what the process was that our military took in the care of a fallen soldier. This story was done with respect, honor, and showed this is the way it is with no artificial drama....

"Taking Chance" was a great short movie. Seeing the respect shown to the Marine on his final journey not only from the military people but from everyday citizens encountered along the way was very touching.

Just got back from Watchmen...

I am trying to decide what I thought of it. Some parts of it was amazing, special effects were mindblowing; very artistically done; and unbelievably bloody. They started it half an hour late, so it was well after 3 by the time it was over, and it was not a short movie. Tons of twists.

Kind of confusing, extremely uh, well, there wasn't a whole lot left to the imagination (ok, there was NOTHING left to the imagination) in a couple of the characters... (especially when the one became 50 feet tall... holy cow; somehow imagine trying to get the paint off everything might not have been lots of fun for the actor)...

I would have liked it more if it didn't start at after 12:30 at night. But definitely creative, artistic, and interesting story. But bloody, graphic, extreme and I shut my eyes through I think 2/3rd of it.

Why did you have your eyes closed though 2/3 of it? It wouldn't have anything to do with the constant flashes of big blue superhero penis??? I know for me it was pretty disturbing and I noticed that a number of guys started to walk out about three quarters of the way through the movie because they were tired of looking at it. . Personally I thought it was an absolute shocker of a movie, sure the special effects were good at times but it was all a bit pointless and boring to me.

I recommend Gran Torino......excellent movie! The Strangers was also pretty good for a Liv Tyler movie.

Have to agree with previous posters, I didn't understand the Life Aquatic movie at all.......watching it was torture and I felt I needed some comfort, a hug perhaps for sitting through it.

Yes! I totally agree about Life Aquatic! Also, the soundtrack is phenomenal. Other Wes Anderson films I enjoyed are Rushmore and Royal Tenenbaums (also with Bill Murray <3).
If you enjoy the Beatles and don't mind a sort of modernish musical (trust me, it's worth it) Check out Across The Universe..
Children of Men was a movie I thought was great and didn't hear much buzz about.

Also! If you haven't seen Pixars Up yet, please do! It delivers the goods.

NCFOM: A brilliant piece of work. Same goes for Gran Torino.

Taken started out as a good film, but instead of mystery and intrigue, just a bunch of killing goes on. Considering his past performances with in depth character development, Neeson fairs poorly in this one.

Food, Inc. Excellent documentary!

Quantum of so many Bond films of late....the story is a backdrop to the action....not the like old days... that's a good movie about the potential future. (Knowing who Guy Fawkes was helps)

2012...fairly predictable but well worth a watch.

American Beauty...Kevin Spacey, as always...brilliant!

Kite Runner....loved the book (and 1,000 Splendid Suns)...didn't know it was made into a movie...must look it up.

Re: Dr. Strangelove....well...with Stanley Kubrick behind the lens, what can go wrong?
Nothing! See A Clockwork Orange, 2001, Full Metal Jacket, The many more...
