women can take showers what a novel concept , hair has nothing to do with being clean or being a lesbian , its natural, shaving is unnatural and a fetish, and it will pass, in the 90s it was fashionable to have all kinds of breast augmentations , some of it was prety gross, it has lost popularity as will the shaving craze , men ,real men are going to be attracted to grown adult women

You sir do not know what a fetish is.

You sir are also not a real man, a real man isn't so petty to make choices for his SO, he rolls with what she chooses for her body. You choose her hairstyle too? Color of her clothes? Underwear type? Are thongs a fetish?

Fetish ?

Its not a fetish. Dee Dee Dee!

Sexual fetishism, or erotic fetishism, is the sexual arousal brought on by any object, situation or body part not conventionally viewed as being sexual in nature. Sexual fetishism may be regarded, e.g. in psychiatric medicine, as a disorder of sexual preference or as an enhancing element to a relationship. The sexual acts involving fetishes are characteristically depersonalized and objectified, even when they involve a partner.[1] Body parts may also be the subject of sexual fetishes (also known as partialism) in which the body part preferred by the fetishist takes a sexual precedence over the owner.

So shaving is a "fashion trend" is it? Hmmm..I don't know about other women, but I don't often (read: ever) see anyone's **** but my own..and I like it bare. It is, for me , cleaner, more comfortable, and not only makes me feel more attractive, it also enhances sex. And, for the record, I have never, ever had a man complain about it. Quite the opposite in fact, I have received very flattering compliments..but I digress.

It doesn't matter if I am sexually active or not, I maintain it for myself, and my own pleasure. Even one day's growth makes me feel out of sorts..but, it's just personal preference. Every one has their own likes and dislikes, that's what keeps life interesting, isn't it?

Have fun!!

I always have shaved my legs and underarms but never thought of shaving the private area until a few years ago. Maybe a little in swimsuit season but that was all. When I was dating the two men I slept with were virgins and had no preference. lol I married the 2nd one. Now back in the dating scene years later guys kept saying they like it smooth so I finally tried it. I did a little bit at a time and after shaving all of it off I think I prefer to keep it just trimmed but not all bare. Without TMI, it is better for hygiene reasons too.

I don't know if it is a new trend but there must be some women who still don't shave. It started out I was doing it to please the guy but now it's what I prefer too. These men had no problem bringing up the topic either. However, I didn't know what my SO preferred because he never said. It obviously wasn't a requirement one way or another like it was with these other men. I never realized things like this were such a big deal. I guess I've lived a sheltered life.

Fleurette Wrote How dod you do those Quotes ???

"I also expect some maintenance by my partner on his part, because, again, intimacy is not found by using his body hair to clean supper out of my teeth...

You're not the only man on Earth who prefers women unshaven...But, try to think of it from a female perspective - In those pretty silky underwear you boys like, it gets awfully warm as it is, you add an inch of hair to that and it's a sauna in your pants, and not because the man is making magic with his smile..."

Well my Dear Flourette I also shave all my Pubic Hair & under my arms,,I find it more Hygenic & women find it more appealing ? just depenind how big you are I guess ? but not yet found a Woman who wants to shave hers, as its the same both ways, Id much prefer not to be picking hair from between my teeth when giving oral too.

I am probably in the minority but I can't stand the shaved look between a women's legs.

to me, pubic hair is normal and natural. and looks great on a woman.

and I have yet to experience any 'hygene issues's' from ladies with a bush.

if there are such issues, it probably has nothing to do with the pubic hair

Precisely!! And you're not in the minority when it comes to natural bushes (excluding George W. of course).

If a woman has hygienic problems down there ... shaving it off won't make any difference. It would only give her a false sense of daisy freshness.

^^^^^A landing strip is as stupid as the dude who has that growth of "fungus" just below his lower lip. Either grow it out into a beard or shave it off. Do one or the other. Are these half-measures considered fashionable?? A landing strip seems like the inability to make a choice.

A woman trimming her pubes is OK. Shaving it bald ...

The OP didn't specify that he was inquiring about pubic area- he just isn't turned on by women who depilate. Could be pubes, or legs, or arm pits, or moustaches and goatees. OP, you need to start lookin' in the way, waaaaay back hills; the metro ladies are probably not offering what you want.

Extremes are not usually good.

I agree, which is kinda why all those arms-crossed, just-say-no to everything, in unison, rethuglicans should be retired at the next opportunity. But that "middle ground" pendulum swings as well. Like, whatever happened to those Rudy somebody ladies swimsuits in the '70's-'80's that fully exposed a woman's breasts? Lol I kinda miss those. As a practical matter, a "trim" mostly resolves the "dental floss" issue, so that pretty much leaves aesthetics, and texture. It just seems as if the skin on and around the genitals is the very softest kind, and for that reason alone, ought to be brought to the fore. And the visual? Opponents seem usually to throw that prepubescent rock at us bare-skin relishers. Hey, bare skin is waaay better than bearskin, imho. And the great sculptors throughout history seemed to agree. I have never seen an anatomically quasi-correct Greek, or Italian, or any other culture's statuary with pubic hair "penciled" into the stone. Lol
But I gotta concede this much: as a kid, I scored a Playboy from my uncle's stash. The centerfold was an auburn nymph whose uber delectable sprawled out (on a hammock, in the sun) body was covered with little wispy white hairs, the kind that turn ugly when they grow up, but daayymm, THAT body's hair was, um, stimulating.

<div class="quote"> In my most humble opinion shaveing is the best thing to happen . As a kindred part-time patron of the "arts", I gotta wholeheartedly concur. There are all kinds of enhancements we, both genders, do to our bodies to "present well" (which is everything, right?)- cosmetics, gym time, tatts and pierces (yeah, even the ears!), steroids for the truly misguided, botox, collagen injections, plastic butt and breast lifts, hair styles and making it do something other than what it wants to do. Shaving pubes is way less radical, imho, than most of these enhancements, and besides, it's just a temporary fix.

Sooo, to call it a shaving "craze" seems extreme to me.

today's society makes it seem like enjoying normal pubic hair and not liking the prepubescent barbie look is some sort of fetish these days..

If you can't tell the difference between a woman and a prepubescent barbie doll (which there are is only one: Skipper, and she's not a big seller!) you have issues that aren't based around hair ~ more based around plastic toys made by Mattel.

^^^^^^^^^I got it the first go round, but thanks for clarification.

~OT~ I don't believe personal hygiene habits have a damn thing to do with fads or the porn industry. I've been bare since long before any "craze" came about and will be bare for the duration of my life. That includes any hair that isn't on the top of my head. I also prefer the man in my life to have exceptionally nit-picky hygiene habits his own self. If not, and he's not open to shaving? For me ~ instant deal breaker. Much like someone who wants a chia pet down there ~ not the man for me and I'm certainly not the woman for him. JMO

I believe more and more women are shaving because they think men might prefer it OR for what they identify as hygiene purposes. I've met a couple of men who shave themselves, but one of them actually, like the OP, prefers women who don't.

I agree with one poster who indicated it was a bit selfish to demand one's partner to shave or not. I do what I'm comfortable with and prefer the fella I'm seeing to do the same regarding personal shaving habits. I might tell him what I like but wouldn't dictate what he does.

Humans....no doubt the goofiest species of herd animals that has ever put foot on earth. A high school kid in my neighborhood gets an eye injury and thinks it would be cute to wear a black pirates patch over the normal doctors eye dressing. He goes back to school the next day to find that there are about twenty other idiots walking around wearing black eye patches....so called grown ups are no different. There are hundreds of dating sites with thousands of members each, all whining that it's so hard to find a match....at the same time, most are looking for new ways to isolate themselves from the mainstream. Yeah boy!....just keep poking holes in your faces, inking up your bodies, play with razor blades on your pubes, seek out another thousand or so other religious or political cults to follow, and sure enough....you are bound to find someone perfectly compatable to you in every way.

Bald is beautiful

I've been wondering why the people who claim "bald is beautiful" haven't shaved the hair on their heads?? Why not go for the complete hairless Kojak look?? Meanwhile ... shave your eyebrows too.

I may sounf harsh but i will hand her a razor and say go clean it up or I just wont touch the woman

Furthermore, any dude who demand that his partner shaves it off for his own pleasure is nothing more than some selfish self-centered narcissistic ignoramus ass who is full of himself. I don't believe that looking like some chimpanzee is attractive, but to shave the pubes completely is a ridiculous cue ball imitation.

^^^^^Trying pulling down his pants in one quick motion so that his one-eye-snake pops up suddenly ... distracting you from your chia pet nightmare.

okay guys if you want keep the pit hair but but but trim it close close close

If the dude shaved his pubes "close close close" ... wouldn't that leave just "stubbles stubbles stubbles"?? Those stubbles could cause irritation on your bare landscape during the heat of passion, no??

you'll poke your eye out!

Have goggles ... will travel.

I like to look at it from the angle of common courtesy.

I don't enjoy going down on a woman with a full on untrimmed bush, nor would I expect her to do the same. If you don't want to shave, then at the very least keep it trimmed right down.

I put it into the same category as basic personal hygiene. I would want any woman I'm with to have good personal hygiene so I ensure that I do the same. Before any date I make sure to have another shower, wash up real good and make sure everything is trimmed up nicely.
