Men! Women! Grey: yes? No?
my answer is neutral... the reason is explained below

What do you think about grey in others? I think it is a color just like all the other colors.. brunette, blonde, red, etc

What do you do (or will you do) about your own? I only have one grey strand.. I dye my hair for the color not coverage

hair or no hair.. it does not make the person .. hmm?
I do not look just at the hair but everything... inside and out .. that is where the distinguished man ly

I am personally attracted to the salt/pepper of a mature man...don't know why.

Now when it comes to my hair, my neighbour found some grey in mine and I immediately dyed it!

For some reason, men do seem to wear grey better than most women do.

I think even bald and gray can be really hot if the haircut suits him and looks good.

I have like 3 white hairs myself. I color my hair, but not to cover the white because it's not that noticeable anyway and I don't care about it. It's just for fun. I have some pink streaks and they look better with an allover that is darker and warmer than my natural color.

Grey hair on men is very sexy and distinguished. Keep it very short though as a headful (longish) of grey/white hair tends to look untidy and takes away from the sexy distinguished look... Bald is incredibly sexy too......... mmmmmm. Just sayin!!!

~OT~ I hadn't seen my exhusband in a while and in Sept., I spent some time with him. He is now sporting the most beautiful "George Clooney" hair. He's always been exceptionally handsome, but now? He's quite stunning. I think he's aged quite a bit in the past couple of years, but the trendy cut and the silver really is appealing on him.

I am not partial to graying on blonds or light brown hair, however. It seems thinning happens and the gray is wiry ~ that (in my opinion) doesn't flatter MOST men. JMO

Although I understand the impetus for a man to colour his hair, especially when finding himself with the need to market himself again after the end of a marriage...it's just wrong. Men should be low maintenace! Shower, shave, out you go.

How I envy you. Sigh.

For me personally, I am not with the grey hair
Maybe once I start turning grey, I may embrace it a little more.
For now, it is not for me. I don't like to look like I am dating my father!

My hubby had natural brown hair that started graying during our relationship. It is now a dark gray with the silver at the temples and I love it better than his brown hair.

I think there's plenty of evidence in this thread and elsewhere that the gray works for men but I do not think it's typically the same case for women. If a woman is content with her gray hair, that's great but when a gray-haired woman complains that she can't meet a guy, I can't help but point out the obvious.

This is a good question. I don't think any of the women in my family have ever gone grey. Although, it can look good on some women and men, IMO.

I've asked my friends if I should get my goatee colored and they say no because they think it is a lie. However, none of those people are out in the dating world so I'm guessing they might just have an edge to grind with it.

Personally usually when a person whether male or female dyes their hair its painfully obvious. My uncle had dark brown almost black hair and when he started going gray he decided to dye his hair back to the natural color. When you're in your 40-50's and you have hair that does not have a bit of gray in it then it's kind of obvious. I know when I start going gray that I will just embrace my gray.

brown better than grey; grey better than bald...

You got that right!! Atleast with gray hair you have a chance to find a woman, but with no hair, that is the worst obsticle that hits men when looking for dating, and almost always promises them no women. Obviously it's way worse when a women goes bald, then it's forget about it.

Salt and pepper can be very distinguished; flat out silver (on some) beyond distinguished to downright stunning...

I think your a good looking guy, but yes, gray hair does make one look older of course. I like salt n pepper hair so you look younger but more distinguished. When you change something drastic about your looks, it is not always bad, and you do get used to it. Nothing wrong with coloring your hair! I know ALOT more people would look ALOT better if they would color their hair. It's a cheap fix that can make you look more sexy! Go for it!

Alot of men look great with salt and pepper hair. Others would look awsome if they colored it.

Grey hair is at least hair. Not many male models that have a horseshoe. I say this, because I will be that way soon.

I was told I look 16 up until 2 years ago... now people guess I'm older than I am. Ouch.

There is nothing wrong with grey hair. I don't mind seeing it on women. Sometimes I wonder if I have any grey hair yet, but I'll probably never know :) I rarely even let my head or face develop stubble.

I'm 75-80% grey and have thought about dying my hair a few times (I'm 39), but have'nt done it yet. A good friend keeps telling me I should dye it, says it would make me look younger. I agree but just can't bring myself to do it lol I want to because I feel it would increase my chances in meeting someone...... You know.... Tall, DARK and handsome lol

To me, hair diying should be left to the women.

I'm unapologetically hypocritical about grey hair. My opinion is that natural always looks best, women should not dye their hair and that sexy is a feeling not based in appearance. Then when I see older women with their hair done, hey, that looks good!

I have the Reed Richards grey temples going for me at age 33. Now I have a few strands which are getting more numerous as time goes on. My mother can be thanked for this since she was completely grey by age 25.

I would rather it give up and go salt & pepper already. People have told me to dye my hair but I kind of like it.

Grey hair look good on men but on me not so good.... If I didn't color my hair I would be just about all grey. No thanks...
