+1 to grizzelda
I have found this thread to be offensive. Women do not need to be told by men about their bodies.

well we have had dozens of women trying to 'educate' men on other threads telling us that 'blue balls' is not a real condition, that getting primed for sex then not having it doesn't hurt

or even that getting kicked/kneed in the balls wouldn't really be that bad or hurt much

but probably when women do it it's OK after all they do know everything, even about the other gender's bodies, better than men do -they learn by osmosis I think ?

Tuna smell? I've never smelled one that resembled "tuna"......smells like pvssy to me!

Most women have no fragrance until stimulated, and if you don't like it, you should change your "looking for" to "man looking for man".

I love the fragrance of a woman.......mmmmm hmmmm.

A woman must go to the gynecologist, but while you're waiting for an appointment you must do the following:

half cup of vinegar and half cup of water, vaginal cream, and triple antibiotic ointment.. (Walmart)
first, wash with the vinegar and water, then put in the palm of your hand the vaginal cream and the ointment, stir it and "massage" your private part. That will take care (temporarily) of the tuna fish smell till you go to see a doctor.
Please wear thin kotex pads so the cream will not damage the underwear.

Sounds like a lot of work, ever thought of letting it air out? staying away from intrusions (d*ck) for a few days while waiting for GYN appointment?

Here's what I do:
Everyday when I shower, I douche, its called WaterWorks. It is a stainless steel contraption and it only uses water, the same water coming out of the faucet or shower head (no chemicals). I've noticed I no longer get UTIs, no discharge of any kind (even during and right after my period), no smell, nothing! I sleep with no underwear, I let it air out while I sleep. Moisture aids the growth of bacteria, panties trap moisture and heat (which creates more moisture). I clean the outside with an imported menthol based solution called Lemisol.

GYNs say the vagina has a self-cleaning mechanism and only the outside requires the wiping of a wet cloth. I'm not convinced (and I teach Biology among other subjects). While the vagina harbors good and bad bacteria and regulates pH, cleans itself from within and all that good stuff, it only does so when it is left alone. One has to take into account that once you introduce something/someone into it, you have essentially messed with the mechanism and gave it something else to work on, something that will produce a reaction.

It's like the stomach, it combines acids from neighboring organs, to break down food and then passing it along to the small intestines, and so on. You can't just put anything in your mouth and expect the stomach to handle it. If you eat something that doesn't belong there (excess fat, carbonated drinks, extremely spicy or acidic concoctions, etc), your stomach reacts by getting upset, bloating, causing heart burn/acid reflux, ulcers, enzymes become ineffective, etc.

Most shower gels, soaps, creams advise that they may cause a disruption of the pH of the vagina or may cause an infection or irritation, so don't use near vagina. Condoms, the chemicals in condoms like nonoxinol-9, including those which are latex or other materials can produce an unfavorable reaction (irritation or infection). Vibrators, dildos, etc are made with chemicals that can irritate the vagina as well. Shaving can cause irritation as well.

Then men have the bad habit of doing things they shouldn't, just for kicks. Some want to swing and brush their penis on the woman's vagina, brush it a bit past where they should, and end up passing bacteria from the anus, into the vagina. Voila smell! We all have a part in keeping things clean and healthy, but then there is the way we all naturally smell.

Want to complain about fishiness? How's about most men think shaking their hose magically wicks all the urine out/off? Do you know how awful dried pee smells on a penis? and you want us to s*ck it? lmao. You start to sweat a bit and you think your balls won't smell? and you want us to lick/suck them? lmao.

belletresor..the above had me in stitches for a while lol..great post. to think plain water keeps you clean. By the way, you should probably get confirmation from an honest guy lol. I think you are referring to uncircumcised men on your last paragraph :) but the sweaty balls thingy...is applicable to all.

No guys reek if they haven't had a shower even in a matter of hours you start to smell....circumcised or not...my gay friend would know.
Have you ever just went to sleep after making love without showering...and have cum on your GF breasts....the next morning just roll over and have a smell, if it didn't kill you in your sleep first!....or maybe I'm the only one who just smells like a dogs breakfast....:) must be that protein drink!

"Everyday when I shower, I douche, its called WaterWorks"

A healthy vagina is stable, mostly (bad) odorless.

Douching daily could disrupt the colonies of healthy bacteria and fungus (most of which migrate from the anus), esp if the douching chemical is bactericide and/or fungicide.

btw, the reason (evolutionary) we have retained public and underarm hair is to produce odors as sexual signalling. People who shave both and think they are being sexy are mistaken.

No, all kinds of penises do.

yep!

It's not you, its all men. Once it dries up a bit, it starts to stink/decompose.

I mentioned it uses no chemicals, its only water. Water has a neutral pH and therefore, does not disrupt anything. We ingest water to flush our systems from the inside out, you're doing the same thing with the mouth underneath.

No, they are called hormones which produce chemicals we excrete through our skin . Evolutionarily speaking, we have hair for protection from the elements and warmth. Ever noticed that people from countries in which it is cold more than it is hot, tend to be hairier? Our bodies are designed to adjust and evolve according to climate over time. Hair promotes warmth, ever seen coats made out of other animals' hair and skin?

Hair itself does not produce odor, our hormones do. Cut a piece of your hair and leave out, smell it over time, you won't smell anything. Place that same hair in a zip lock bag and leave it somewhere warm, and you might smell something.

When I was in the military stationed in Germany, there was a joke among the G.I.'s......."Did you ever wake up in the morning with your nose in a German womens arm pit and be afraid to open your eyes?" German as well as all European women were all well known to not shave their armpits, nor any other part of their anatomy. European women naturally smell different than American women. Not worse-just different. I think it is due to diet and a different life style. Not hygiene, just like men, not all smell the same. Vaginal odor is not always that horrific, but I'll tell you what, is and there is no excuse for it,.............anal odor!! Right men? lol

Wrong.
The reason we keep these areas is to visually signal that one of our species is of mating age. It also serves to distribute the pheromones and scents we produce to signal mating readiness.

I'm still intact and I'll be the first to admit that if I don't shower every morning, on the 2nd day all I have to do is peel it back to take a whizz and I definitely get the low tide smell.

I've actually stopped women from going downtown on me when I didn't feel fresh - in this regard, I would say not being snipped is a lot like having a vajayjay !

True but hair traps the odor and acts like an incubator, go down on a brazilian waxed woman vs a big bushy beavered woman and DARE to compare .... GOOD LUCK !

Make sure you have your vital info nearby just in case, lol

To me this reads of a young woman who has fallen for the societal pressure that unless she is doing anything more than normal body washing, she isn't clean. She is washing away all of things that a healthy system should have in the need to be "clean". I imagine that the only reason she isn't getting all these things isn't because she is healthier, she is just stripping away the signs of the problems, rather than curing them.

Perhaps I am just an oddity, but I don't normally "smell" and discharge is normal for the average woman, it is not an indicator of an unhealthy genital area, but many of the young ones seem to have no clue what is healthy vs what is marketing and I guess it doesn't help when most of their partners are as equally confused as to what is normal vs what is marketed to them as being needed, so of course they are paranoid about keeping things "clean".

m_church,

I use distilled water on the steamers I use to steam my clothes. I'm talking about water coming out of the faucet or shower head. In my area, it is safe to drink/cook/bathe. I conducted various experiments with the water and found it to be safe. There are no deposits in the water, nothing precipitates days, week, or months. While the water is not "pure", it is not such that would cause disruption.

Grizzelda,

Not societal pressure, I suffered from chronic UTIs since I was 9 years old. Not experiencing any in the last year or so is a blessing.

Yes, it's being voted into the olympics as a substitute for wax in the Downhill, Louge and Bobsled competions...I hear it was pretty hairy getting it approved.

absolutely. Offensive odors are either chemical or bacterial. It's unlikely sulfides are coming out of the genetilia. That means it's bacterial. So many people try and treat foot odor with anti-fungals, slap some triple antibiotic ointment on those feet, stick them in your shoes to get it inside there too and foot odor goes away in days. I am NOT recommending Triple Antibiotic on your nether regions. See your Doc.

TMI

I've had two top ob/gyns tell me over the years that douching in a healthy woman is never necessary. It disrupts the chemical balance of the vagina. And anyone using antibiotics inside is just asking for a yeast infection. When I was younger I started getting UTI's every month, so often, in fact, that I was referred to a urologist. He told me to quit douching because somehow the bacteria can work it's way into the bladder. That was 40 plus years ago...haven't had one since. A very good doctor, and very good advice.
After readying this thread, it makes me wonder how the human race has managed to reproduce itselt to the billions of people we have now. What about all those women who didn't have a "WaterWorks" to make them smell sunshine fresh. Somehow they attracted the males, and somehow the males wanted to be there. And much of sexual attraction is olfactory. Don't believe it? Many males of many species use the sense of smell to judge if a female is ready to mate...if she'll have him. The males compete; the females choose whose DNA gets passed to the next generation.

I had no idea how common it was until I started working at a scent free office where they only use scent-free cleaners. The first time I went to the bathroom, I was mortified at how bad (I thought) I smelled. As it turns out, some woman smell so bad that it lingers. There have been times that I've walked into a stall, just to back out quickly, feeling like I was going to vomit. Even when you sit down (I bring alcohol swabs with me to clean the seat), the smells wafts over from the next stall.

I've actually had to put hand sanitizer on my upper lip just to keep from throwing up, and that's only if I can't hold it until I can go outside my office.

The last woman I dated was a smoker, and I noticed she smelled a little more funky than others. Perhaps smoking is a factor?

If she has a naval ring, hang one of those car freshener pine trees from it. :D

Cesska, sometimes it goes so far beyond that. I grew up in a small town where most people worked in a fish plant. There was a meal plant there where leftovers were sent/stored and sometimes when the wind was right the stench of rotting fish was overpowering.... from across the harbour. It's almost exactly the same smell.

Sure, it's not like everyone smells like chocolate chip cookies at all times (if you sweat enough for your pits to smell, you're probably going to be not so fresh) but it's clear that some women wash very rarely, if at all. And these women REEK.

So what youre saying is all women have a fish smell unless they wash often the smell away

Where the f*ck do you see the words all women in my post?

And yeah, if ANY woman doesn't wash for long enough she's going to reek. It's not just vaginal secretions we're dealing with here, it's also sweat and fecal matter, kept close to the skin by underwear and clothes.

Talk about rubbish. *rolls eyes*
