Next it will be....dont women darn socks anymore? or... I only like my woman to wear dresses with stockings and high heels. Or why did we ever let them vote? Such BS!!! Get a grip OP and get into the new mellenium.

I love to cook, but I also work 50+ hours a week, so if I dont have the time or energy to cook some nights, it wont happen. I will be content to microwave a dish of something hearty I made from scratch, stored in single servings, from the freezer, pick up some take out or go out for dinner. If my guy wants to cook, go for it....hopefully he has some talent and passion for it and the food will taste great. One of my ex's thought he was a champ in the kitchen, but the food was utterly inedible.

But anyone who EXPECTS it or DEMANDS a meal on the table, will likely be sipping his next one, through a straw.....alone.

whether or not the ladies of the upcoming generation can cook or not, id probably say best learn to take care of things yourself anyways. But of course id agree i would love someone who can cook or at least want to learn to cook, because being in the kitchen can be a great experience just becareful not to piss her off, she might surprise you at how well she can use the knife rofl :P

I cook! Only when I'm hungry. Other than that I don't want to advertise it for fear of having some hungry,underfed individual who may want to get close to me so that he can be fed! Got to watch them real closely and keep them at bay by not giving such information.

Perhaps you could explain the difference to me since I'm under the impression that a "C" drive is a hard drive.


Hard drive is a physical item, and C-drive is a logical item. If you do a partition you may have few drives: C-drive, F-drive, N-drive (assign any name) on a single hard drive.

That’s just the theory that I picked up from my tech co-workers. I’ve never done patrician myself though

Nobody in today's world HAS to cook, there are many different options to stock the body ....healthy concerns aside and available....I choose to cook...not a luxury all can afford, all the time...

Sometimes I enjoy cooking, sometimes I don't. I tend to do it more and more, since I'm on a limited budget, and I just not finding restaurants that have decent food at a decent price. I don't hold with the notion that one gender should cook and other shouldn't. In my opinion, if your in a relationship, the chores (cleaning, cooking and so on) should be split more or less equal. How that is split is up to the two of you in the relationship. But neither partner, once they have agreed to split the chores, shouldn't criticize or belittle the other that doesn't do things the 'right' way. For example, I know of women that get bent out of shape if the towels aren't folded 'correctly' or the vacuuming isn't done 'right'. Either do to your satisfaction and don't **** about having to do it, or let the other party do it the way they want and don't **** about it being 'wrong'.

I dont buy or eat processed food. That is one thing wrong with our culture....everything needs to happen in minutes. Food cooked from scratch is not only healthier, it is far more delicious. TV dinners and microwave meals were created and mass produced because the majority of women joined the work force. It takes planning, creativity, time and dedication to produce good food cooked by loving hands.

You can have the chemicals, sodium, fat and additives that you get with your microwave meals, it is far less expensive and healthier to eat home cooked food.

Speaking of which....... I'm hungry!!

Of course they do, as do men. I'll assemble my own table, thanks anyway. Though , I personally would not cuss nearly as much if women wrote the instructions instead of men drawing those goofy little 'and then a miracle happens' pictures. We are definitely not all intuitive about such things.
I cooked & baked all while my daughter was growing up, daily. And loved it, but it definitely was a duty as well. I now only cook for pure enjoyment =) So I go through phases of lots of carryout and cereal ..then lots of home cooking. It's nice actually.
I think life would be pretty damn boring if men and women were identical in their stregths, weaknesses, and approaches.

I have friends of both genders who cook very well and really enjoy it. I CAN cook, but it isn't a favorite pastime of mine. I do enjoy cooking when my partner and I do it together. That elevates it from a chore to a pleasurable activity. Only one of my past partners bothered to help with meals and that made it a joy. The others just sat and watched TV or played on the computer while I did all the work and that is where the lack of enthusiasm came from. When what you do is expected, demanded and unappreciated, you don't have the desire to do it.

Unfortunately, most women have become lazy when it comes to cooking. Today's women are so liberated and full of themselves. They have become a self-absorbed, self-centered gender and they do what is best for THEM.

Yes, you better hold on to that woman of yours....because with that over-inflated opinion of yourself and your capabilities, it might be a cold day in hell before anyone feels compelled to have you show them how to do better at just about anything they do. Men are lazy. You talk of inventions? Did I say that men have not invented? It's a redundant response, yet, I've been nibbling at it. Anyway, these same inventions have been made so that lazy men can do less work. Inventions mean nothing, my dear, when we are discussing the fact that men are lazy. Man turned leisure into tradition. I could go on as well, detailing the history of man's laziness, but I have better things to do.



Like work? On average in the USA men work 40% more hours than women. I'll NEVER say women are lazy. Why? Because i'm not retarded and i understand that everyone has work ethic. I'm not saying women can't perform those duties, but of course because you lack logic you completely miss my point.

You think inventions just appear out of thin air? They take WORK, HARD WORK. I'm glad you own your own business, but to dismiss the work of men over the EON'S of history is not only stupid, your intentional misrepresentation of the facts is downright insulting to millions that have LABORED far more than you or i can even comprehend. Some men are lazy i'm sure, but not all i listed were "inventions" which apparently mean nothing, but the building of oh, all infrastructure, from buildings to damns to bridges to oh i don't know EVERYTHING was built by mostly men, how can you call them lazy?

I'm not disparaging women in any way, just pointing out that laziness is not a lable that any generality covers, its a specific example not gender specific.

To be honest, your an ass for not respecting the work that makes your life what it is today. Good look finding a lazy guy.

Women haven't gotten "lazy", it isn't a priority with some women, its not that they are full of themselves, they have a choice to fill other roles and chose something else, as is THEIR right the same as it is yours.

It amazes me how we lable entire groups so negatively.

The days of great women are here, always have been and always will be. Great men too, but quality is ALWAYS hard to find, it isn't gender specific.

don't shop at ikea, and cook better then most women I have met or dated.
Not only can I cook for myself, I also catch my own food. From salmon to red "Rock" crabs. Fresh clams and silverhead's.

I kinda like Ikea....and cook better than most women I have met or dated too!....however...I cannot catch my own fresh salmon and die for mouth-watering shell fish....ummm, and what are silverheads? travel your grill over here please....

There is cooking and eating, and then there is dining and indulging! I prefer to dine well on most occassions, and am quite prepared to go to the trouble for whoever sits at my table. Throwing a piece of protein on a BBQ is not cooking. Preparing food in a creative, adventurous and tastful way takes experience and talent, and an understanding of food chemistry.

But then, go ahead and microwave your potatoes, toss your greens with your Kraft dressing, boil your veg and Q up some round steak. I will save my calories for something more gourmand. Am I a food snob????...hell yes...and a bit of a wine snob too for that matter....so go ahead and grill my opinion. I dine very well and less costly than you could imagine. Bon appetite!!!!
