In death words silent;
In silence
Words weigh heavy.
Silence captures
Lost words
between intimate eyes.
In life words uncover
silences burying
Corpulent words
Express truth which
silence finds free,
but lost eyes
find words to express

happen. invested insanity weeps (luri's last line repeated stanza 10-22-09)
over the undercurrent that seeps
tears filling the waters so deep
Lost in swift rapids that sweep

In a river that changes everyday
Wander at its banks skipping
Flat stones across the rapid way
Trace ripples with eyes hoping.

Shaking the dust off...

Brrr it is cold out
I need a snow blower
that converts into
a lawn mower
The dog warms it snout
has no clue
That winter breezes in
Full grape wine-bins
Flocks culled, wool woven
prrr the cat is cold

words escape
lost in this place
I find no release
time passes by
in divinities cry
there is no hand
spinning round
to keep the pace
a wasted human
asking an answer
age creeps across
my knuckles
drag through my hair
seeps into my eyes
vacant and numb
I no longer stand
against the malaise
utter not a sound
quiet and demur
softly chuckle
for just and fair

Photographs aged
And faded hang loose
In collages
Naked Hair drapes
Like shield over
Abraham's smiling
Dimpled cheek
As he rides His
Rocking horse...
Ever my dimpled baby

Lost in the present
All the time of the past
Tightly held to my breast
Emancipates his future

And I find freedom from
His smile, missing the miles

On my heart,
Know the strings

Pull sweet and sublime notes
Out of stretched fingertips like
Inky rain falling on
Green buds of white vernal roses
Nuances waft across our senses
And the best gift
Nearly adult hands rest
Totally alone on the rocking horse

I look on without interfering….

Seems so dull
bone and skull
marrow sucked
from a chicken leg
Tossed ruthless
Empty and bled
She just wanted to live
Ashes ground
in tempered egg
Plastic straws
Dangle limply

crowded with crumbling
emptying everything
trying to travel
somewhere strange
however hard and
experiencing emptiness
purging personal perceptions
shaking shrouded shit..

being busy
breaks the barrier...

She fed rabid dogs donuts.
Burnt Sienna Sunflowers and Golden field corn
Spread for miles as Sunlight shone
Down through the black lace shroud
Stretched around her head,
Pulling Petals and Kernels, she called the crows.

The blue sky rolled up like a sea of black crows,
Searching for sparkling, donuts
Over top her wild head.
She plucked flower's centers and scattered seed corn
To sow crops for God's shroud;
Which Covers Prayers of voices shone?

Darkest Oddities brightly shone.
Mannerisms and clothing made Wicca crows.
For herself she did not shroud.
Caution the hole of donuts-
Less important than the empty shell of the corn;
Without its hard head.

Spinning in her head,
Wild words, spoken, madness shone
Slick tangents connected crystal eyes like popcorn,
Cawing in four directions as dancing crows,
She sunk in sand strewn donuts;
Her scarf now a face shroud

For shame to hold the shroud,
Her down ward cast head
Full of dogs and donuts.
Her son’s royalty hadn't shone.
God's golden harvest eaten by the fat crows.
Sustenance would not come from a reaping of corn.

God's Gold releases anger upon fields of corn.
Water becomes a shroud.
Dove returns as peace, while lost in death the crow;
All heads under shame...
Harvest searches dirt fields for lights shone,
Grinds old finger bones for doughnuts.

The donuts made of withered corn
That shone through the shroud
Lost Dead Heads betwixt Dove and Crow.

Before me you just walked(60to70's last line in last line first line Jan 09,2010)
I felt it there, your scent
Lingering in the air
A blond pubic hair
In the shower left
Without a care
I knew you'd gone
Before I found
my Empty home
I would recall
Your "Obsession"
When I presented You a
Book of Carl's poetry
and the Zen guide to Harleys
Years later...

Counting my Options

It'll be the death of me
Buckle my shoes
Under the tree.
Hold the sole blues,
What is to be?
Pick up sticks,
no bones sunder.
Light our wicks,
Be alive.
At tables we dine;
Indeed ate the leaven.
Look for a sign
in your eyes or mine,
And then
Here a hen
Finds Sin Amen,
And the spies of life;
The clay pot in heaven
Falls off the shelf.
Here we go again...
11 to 12
A derivative
3 and 4.
Shut the Door.
Switch sides;
Leaves me
To live on the promise of today

The familiar lines "buckle shoe, pick up sticks, shut the door, go again," are found in Songs for the Nursery published 1805 London in those about Counting.. The wheat and burdock
Wavered and bent in the sunlight
Heat stroked a flushed cherub face
Angelically studying the dry wheat
A child could see only
Tendons stretched over
Strong rounded calf muscles
That flexed quickly into
The ribbed tops of white bobby socks
Folded into black tennis shoes
The wheat shone brightly
Cotton pressed against
The child’s back as if a flat
Iron had just run over it
The field’s parched whisper
Brushed the salty dimpled face
Wheat snapped and blackened
In Mid-Afternoon sun
A cigarette may have fallen
Flames burst forth
a group of Small sneaker
clad feet Stamped
upon the fire
As they would
many more

Bucket Seats and other Individual BS.

You don’t like riding in my car
Its not fancy, each a bucket seat
The driver has the only arm rest
Rare occasions find it quite neat
Thoughts chase whilst we go far
I take my hands from the wheel
I figure gestures will explain best
Words that do not seem to appeal
Racing thought escape as I speed
The response shifts manual gears
I down shift and the grind is clear
I missed the mark, adjusting heed
The position of the knob in hand
I try again for a smooth slick ride
Confused vehicle mobs berth wide
The jerking Spice Orange Aveo and
Its shaken passengers, who call me
Laughing, I drop you from the car
Held safe in the bucket seat perch
I leave you with no scars to cover
Cruise all over the street, tapping
Into fifth my foot slips the clutch
Sovereign sole on the accelerator
Open roads fly silk shifts galore
Tunes blare from my am/fm stereo
Change stations losing announcers
Salient blue red bubble bursts show
Dead thoughts choose quick silence
I’ve been rolled before brought low
Human Freedoms plucked immense
As I accept this ticket for velocity
I sit in the stink of my own liberty
In a little orange Aveo with tailored
Plates opening lips in blessing, while
A middle phalange rises in my mind
To supreme privilege, taking freestyle
Hoping the bucket seat didn’t blind

what is always beyond me?(60to70s last line in last line first line January 26, 2010)
You, falling away from
outstretched palms.
Letting go is the
hardest part,
I thought,
catching a glimpse
of your eyes.

I search for wood to warm my hearth
My weariness to rest in firelights warmth
Dark night uncovers no tinder to burn
I return climbing cold stairs that creak in mirth

My hands cup the still warm stones
Dipping into dry ash of previous flames,
Finding comfort the warmth sooths
Lulls me from the crackling fires
Of yesterday

Humanities Love (Inspired by We are One first line Last line Jan 26, 2010)
It is to be in you and me
always free never bought
for some it is sought
we never know
what we uncover
when seeing another
through our eyes
reflecting us back
to see you and me
do we dance lightly?
Feet tripping down the tracks
choosing oh so carefully

The Dream

I was there before.
Between two pillars
Freedom rolled
anonymously delivered.
Rocked back and forth
On it's base,
A vessel so large it
dwarfed both
Patriarch and King.
It was one once as I
The woven fluted neck
Gracefully tied
With two palm reeds
that dangled over a
The swollen bamboo braided
body held gracefully
Under rounded shoulders.
When I woke,
Unable to utter a
from parchment throat,
the Vase had two faces
Subdued beneath
Bent Knees
Of King and Patriarch,
Asking for pansophy.
An upturned fire breathing
Dragon Face
On the surface
While an inanimate globe
On the other side
was pressed flatly to the floor.
I too busy destroying the
wafer that surrounded
the lip gloss rammed in my
throat to help.....
I was choking
on that S**t...........

Before reality rings and we are done;(Mar{lets}go first line last line 3-1-10)
Spirit and flesh rock and roll into one,

Sweat pours salt into freshly joined heart chords,
strips oils bear grinds all strands over bass boards:

Voices squelching in loss drum on dry ears-
Reflection bends the beat in mirrors

Songs sung screaming out about one
Meet in Darkness, gather each together
Stroke and rock birthing our good Sun...
Open from the tenderest soul ether.

will we listen to the tale (thorb's last line first line March 06 2010)
over and over again
Across dry desert sands
Swift hourglass hands
Wind through the pen
Parched words rain
On ears they fail
For hearts disdain
As bleak boulders
of the universe
Grey and formless
Full of heat quarks
from alpha sparks

Unholy light shines
Over current swift
The Moonchild's shadow
Flows as quicksilver
Down river
We were dancing
To the kings birth.....
