the purpose of our existence
is very clear indeed
life live with graciousness
not stuck in greed
and shift to meaning
beyond our physical realm
simply enjoy the beauty
underneath the elm

Daydreaming beneath the blue sky,
soon comes rain dropping in my eye.
Don’t mistake the crystal-clear rain,
for sad tears that are cried in vain.

Without rain the flowers won’t grow,
without tears emotions don’t flow.
I could love you without caring,
like Thanksgiving without sharing.

like Thanksgiving without sharing
I would then blow faraway, a dream
I refused to cry..
I brushed away nightmares.
Then all fled me. Cry.

the rest sharpen their knives
to surgically remove the line
forming at the doctor
where the cost is a crime

and if you pay the fine
then it's your heart divine
that needs surgical help
from all the power and wealth
we've amassed at this time

yet where is the love
that flows through our blood?
is it possible our loss
is what drowns like a flood?

is it possible we've sold
our soul to get things
forgetting the real blessings
whisper like angels with wings

we've all but forgot
we love such a lot
bestowed to each other
each a sister or brother

bestowed to this world
our beloved earth mother
bestowed to father sky
but lost if we lie
and kill till we die....

yet if we can remember
and learn to surrender
our well of love will flow
as above, so below

so listen to your heart
let your love become your art
for we really can impart
a precious love for all

and perhaps each time we fall
it's our spirit that we call
for nothing is foresaken
when our love does awaken

When our love doth awaken,
of innocence shall thy speak,
Ode to such tender passions
that my heart grows weak
in thy presence!

love's spell I'm falling under
maybe this time I won't plunder
it with my illusion
causing confusion

if I can truly let it flow
the stream of love...just let it go
then the spell that feels uncertain
will unleash a loving curtain
that just keeps rising and rising
like the sun on the horizon

and when it's time for it to set
our love will still flow yet
so even in the darkest night
through the stars we'll feel our light

Through the stars we'll feel our light,
deep within, yet, out of sight.
My warm light has kept burning,
through the years of my yearning.

Now you burn with me on fire,
my burning is of desire.
You burn, as a good liar,
please, God, turn hell’s heat higher.

please, God, turn hell’s heat higher.
burn off the worthless, toast me on a pyre
i fought off the messenger now its down to the wire
your beliefs have left me ill eased

nazi pedophiles claim they are the one
the votes were cast, the deed was done
the war is lost but that battle was won
you are useless, sick and diseased

have not a full heart
beaten by memories
reminded of how humane
a simple gesture can be
fill it again with hope
understanding is a gift
glory in knowing
all shall come to pass

fashions never last
but they do seem to cycle around
life that is found in circles
no beginning or end
just looking for a connection
more time to spend

more time to spend
watching my sky
it is mine
it ain't yours.
you have a share
but...you watching..is me knowing
I saw a sister in my sky.
And you? What is the sky?

that I didn't already know
was everything
that fell before me
between the sheets and
on the streets
never having met
anything remembered
or forgotten
its all news to me
uncovered just once
then revealed dressed
for exposure to elements
of the eyes
crossed and dotted
for a tea...

building castles in the sand
children playing in a far away land,
sitting quietly watching the birds
and even the city slicker nerds,
eating a sandwich I stop to think
as I take a swig of my drink,
it sure is a beautiful day
thank you to nature I must say,
now its time for me to return
to work many hours left to burn,
but this pause has been sweet
my sandwich time truly a treat~

thank you Lord for food to eat
thank you for this beauteous day
where friends come together to play
sharing their soul, bearing the truth
freeing their love restoring their youth
gracious we are heart open wide
blessed are the souls who understand why

blessed are the souls who understand why
and pity the souls that continue to try
i aint shutting up until you explain to me why
how you christians can claim that you aint communists

for jesus christ and carl marx
have both made quite similar remarks
said what they thought despite the sparks
and challenged the greed that persists

(utterly off topic, GO BRUINS!)

Not an expert about Marx,
but do know he had something to do with social classes
Spoke out about wanting the working class
to revolt against others
Overpowering another

Jesus,
one who walked amongst all crowds,
all social classes
did speak out
wanting all to hear and know.....
they were forgiven...
no revolt necessary...
all empowered

and challenged the greed that persists
socialism, communism, capitalist
government monopoly high in demand
making a fortune off supply and demand
while forgotten are many who work in the fields
slaving for food to feed hungry chills
this is reality throughout all the world

did you read the part about casting the money changers out of the temple? flipping tables in the market right before he got crucified?

he totally went off and it got him crucified. i would call that a communist revolt

that momma Mary was not a nerd
a vigin she gave us her baby boy
filled many hearts with greatest joy
so if you believe he'll be good to you
and if you dont I might be blue

all my friends up there with me
(ok Im done now~ Im not a thumper)

But what was the sum total of the deeds,
while you were here on this loving planet?
How many in need did you give good leads,
while taking all your great gifts for granted?

Why was I given so much to ponder?
I’d like to fly like a graceful condor.
To soar without care would be a great life,
instead I sit here and write with much strife.

for some small chance to partake in the ball
is a life time dream come true,
from the fairy tale stories we watched
to Cinderella's crystal shoe,
to the beautiful styles in a fashion magazine
and trying on expensive designer clothes,
all for the feeling of loves truest kiss
we can feel all the way down to our toes,
it is what women wish for but never admit
the prince charming from days gone by,
to be swept off their feet and taken away
by the gift of that perfect guy...

Here to dreams that keep us dreaming
(thanks to all regular posters for all the fun)

By the gift of that perfect guy...
with his love would I drift too high?
Would he be the bluest of skies,
and not disappoint me with lies?

Would his love give me sunny days,
or would I still be in a haze?
Would I embrace his loving ways,
or still wander in my mind’s maze?

The mind, a mighty enemy,
won’t let the past die peacefully.
I can’t seem to find the lock’s key,
in the Beatles’ words, let it be.

There’s still a light that shines on me,
hearing words of wisdom, I see,
that what I want may never be.
In His love, I will be set free.

heading back to philly
where i lived so long ago
dancing with the pbc
a child who didn't know
she'd leave the place
that brought her grace
and also grew a crying space
for there is where her life displaced
never to return to that home base
never to slow down the pace
but keep on moving on
carrying my suitcase
until the circle ends the race....
now seeing within each person
finding love in every face

Where eyes shine like stars & glitter with grace
with rose petals scattered all over the place
the small little man with robes for attire
sits in front of a small and luminous fire

his frailty belies the strength in his voice
as he talks of the responsibility of choice
is your guide one to hide when when the devil responds
or do you brim with pride and join the chosen ones

his oratory's over and he opens discussion
about the choice we make and the repercussion
most choose to stay quiet lest they sound the fool
and that choice leaves no echo from the man on the stool

but I choose to speak and so raise my hand
all eyes come to rest on this lonely man
through glinting eyes full of tears I speak
how to help others when I myself am weak

seek not to be sanctimonious he responded most wise
as the small flame flickered and flashed from his eyes
restore in yourself the strength you require
before trying to light a blind man's fire

light only shines from a fire within
and if it grows dim you will be just like him
unable to see past your own self-sorrow
unable to dream of a brighter tomorrow

blow on it gently and add kindling wood
and at once his metaphor I understood
as I kissed his hands underlit by the flame
he asked me most kindly to reveal my name

and the fire singed the raw holes in my palms
and those gathered there began singing psalms
my name is no matter I said to the sage
just call me a bird let out of his cage

his smile revealed his age in his teeth
and a countenance that radiated love from beneath
then he smothered his flame with a handfull of stones
and slowly ascended on skin-covered bones

and I bowed to him grateful for our fateful assembly
and he bowed in kind and in a voice quite trembly
to yourself be good and to good be yourself
and your life with be enriched with great wealth
