same as it always is
a changing season
as the years goby
do or do not, try

pick your poison to dig your grave
those learning lesson breed change
despite the same old cycle evolution
better ourselves to reduce pollution

Better ourselves
To reduce pollution
Stop your breathing
Stop your farting
Stop that defecation
Stop going on
Exotic vacations
To where you must needs fly
In the air so high and wide
Own your own contrails

Own your own contrails
the basics wouldn't be so bad
if they were all that we had
going nowhere, being human
includes a bit of gas, it's all the
amenities we pursue, striving
to own the world and universe
are the contrails projecting our dive
to demise rather than just staying alive

to demise rather than just staying alive
deep diving for lobsters helps one thrive
on a dessert island without a game warden
with six foot carrots growing in the garden

how many nick names are there for Mr Johnson
won't be the question asked of Miss Wisconsin
so if we judge not then there's nobody to blame
as many things change even more stay the same

as many things change even more stay the same
rummaging memories in a thunderstorm of pain
a sunny side up order with a glass of champagne
bailing out the sinking ship to level out the Rain

too close to call around about happy times
back before donut holes held shiny dimes
uncovered truth and now it's everywhere
the length of the distance is neither here nor there

the length of the distance is neither here nor there
as the crow flies over the land turtle and swift hare
in the wispy pink clouds of an early morning sunrise
as a flock of red breasted Robins fill the blue skies

How can these birds not have their own unique Group name
are mischiefs of Magpies in a convocation of Eagles to blame
is a commotion of Coots in a cast of Merlins an annoyance
to the Godwits' omniscience and the Flamingos flamboyance

to the Godwits' omniscience and the Flamingos flamboyance
they all landed on a casino pier was the weirdest occurrence
when a murder flock swooped in they startled the pit boss
why shaky hands and bad luck equaled suck a high cost

left out not knowing the moral to the story
must be here somewhere lost in the glory
flying too high to get back down to earth
bet it all on the shine for what it’s worth

Bet it all on the shine
For what it's worth
Quarters, nickels and dimes
Add it up and it can buy
A really good time
A Heavenly Time---at the
Neighborhood Catholic Church

And Bingo Parlor
in the past was for young
couples courting; bingo was his
namo, fell in love smoking a cigar;
unto Deep tissue massages: not far
Now, with a happy ending
we journey back
to the beginning

to the beginning
back we go
back to the beginning
for all we know
could be the end
for those who go
before us
behind us
this life we know

could be the end for those who know
where wild thangs go 2 grow & Glow
smashed a 3 run homer standing tall
only to find out later it was a foul ball

slow stroll knows both success & defeat
like the rust & shine no truth and deceit
basic common sense, it finally paid off
the price we pay for the unknown cost

the price we pay for the unknown cost
When we are thinking that everything is Lost
yet We stand on the shores Not being tossed
About an ocean storm that sunk many a ship

Slinging a gun from the hip
To shoot at the flip of a lip
Why must the fight seem
between life or a dream

why must the fight seem between life or a dream
too good 2 be true stuck up on a billboard screen
flashing danger signs sparks lightning bolt strikes
blessings can be a curse lost in the dead of night

somewhere around the Cape of Good Hope
uncharted territory with alligators & moats
new buried treasures lost from days of old
valuable lessons taught searching fur gold

valuable lessons taught searching fur gold
a marvel to behold if we find us in the mold
searching the spores for the point of origin
deferment breaking the skin time to begin

we cannot wait the fur thins
no protection from the wind
heat comes to us from within
drop the bone, hearts skinned

ps Drifting shared a song for you on backcreek's playlist??

drop bone - hearts skinned
smiling with this greedy grin
a loco staring up high above
gone insane looking for love

back at the drawing board to scribble
searching for what's her names riddle
it starts with r pain and ends with why
price we pay for the change we deny

price we pay for the change we deny
Always wonder if we wanna fly
Or we just end it to sell and buy
Don't worry if you laugh or cry

window shopping is why
looking is fun,, when blind
searching will reveal a find
apathy won't deny any

apathy won't deny any
thing like the sky is blue
nothing to do, just don't care
(something in the air?)
nothing is true, no concern to you
just breathe in the air
in your dank dark lair

in your dank dark lair
hurry up & meet there
running on empty, low
nowhere row after row

inhale a double vision see through view
exhale a reality while it's staring at you
watch out below tell me now what 2do
lookup while the sky is still clear blue

Look up!
While the sky is still clear blue
With the sun shining down on you
The white hot rays after dark cold winter days
Like a drug come to free you~

like a drug come to free U
reminiscing for a Deja view
flash back to a better place
Why gudtimes never erase

Refill desire from the hot heat
Living the lie stuck now repeat
Here comes that jagged frown
Recovering from a comedown

Recovering from a comedown
Just the last man standing in town
Thought he'd be saved wearing a crown
But no one cares any more for a clown
Turning everything upside down

Cracks in the paving starting to show
No more slaving just cuz he said so
Seems to think no one would know
He can't escape with nowhere to go
Losing the plot both above and below

just the last man standing in town
looking around from upside down
wondering why the time fley bye
asking forgiveness for a final try

when the phone rang heart skipped a beat
remember good times with the triumph feat
top the Mountain Peak despite the weather
why love is an action word learned together

Why love is an action word learned together
Though it might not stay it can last forever
Awakened feelings in the depth of one's heart
For some it's inspiration to push on with their art
For others it might lead them to depression
Disillusionment strong and they lose compassion

But for me love is a state of humanity
Of feeling for others a deep empathy
Allowing the heart to flow as it may
Don't think it dies despite what they say
It accompanies us throughout our lives
Helping us see what is truth and what's lies

helping us to see what is truth and what’s lies
sweet spot n between those grey, sunny skies
like a dagger in the middle of the heart matter
the day forever changed from glass shattered

eyeing optical illusions, for a clearer View
when the price to pay is often see through
another day dream, or another night mare
of least resistance the path not taken here

Of least resistance
The path not taken here
Leads to nowhere but circles
Around and down and spirals back
Until the track is so worn down
Becomes a rut so deep you drown
