waiting for excuses for all that violence
justified in minds of mad men
that know what they do
souls they scar forever
burned in tomorrows memories

may they recieve just rewards for their labors

May they receive just rewards for their labors
and be good friends with their neighbors
and do a good deed
and share the good weed
and live in peace and understanding
and not be to demanding
just float on clouds in our mind
so we may find
a way to connect
and gains some respect
for each others light
to gain some insight
into each others wiry minds
it will give us time
to rewind
our youthful past
that went by fast
and yet learn again
from our old friends

from our old friends
we've grown a history
from planting many seeds
scattered through our lives
on an imagined time wheel
running chronologically
running smoothly
so we can see
the mystery

but what if....

there was no grid of time
some say all created in our mind
a man-made invention to help our reflection
for without it we can't really imagine
but just glimpse with fascination
if everything could happen
maybe holographically
if everything happened
completely and utterly
simulatenously

simultaneously
we all move as one
under the sun
and the moon
and soon
you will find
the time
not to give up on your dreams
its impossible it seems
but move back to the center
then we can enter
to a new life

and where life love sex and power and money plus superficial status isn't the game
and this is a very long line in front of me but still the same
Love and sex are two very different things
that both brings
different possibilities , curses and rewards
that make your life head Toward
superficial or unsuperficial goals
which will determine your roles
in this confusing ,happy, sad. horrifying exasperating.game of life
and it will make you who you are and determine your wife
so be careful of what you do and what you say
because all that stuff will determine your day

i am up for a battle for what's right
but the actual violence fills me with fright
i'd rather be filling with all shades of light
as i sit in the lotus position
watching the waves of the ocean
hearing the water crash on the shore
could stay here forever and ever more

could stay here forever and ever more
Id even sleep on the floor
if that was all there was for me
I'd settle for the upper branches of a tree
The oceans was once a friend of mine
but we have not seen each other for quite some time
but the day is coming
that you will find me running
to see your sister sea.
one day in front of me
don;t be shocked
if I looked a little rocked
I've never seen your crashing waves
nor your darken caves
just that Aqua blue motion
of the Pacific Ocean
I know so dear
I miss those waves I use to hear

I miss those waves I used to hear
calling to us for one more ride
as the sky turned salty in the midst
that was one heck of a long board
perfect for the rough days of wild rips
when we were crazy enough to try
defying gravity and natures bounty
getting pounded like a piece of driftwood
BAM and we'd eat much more than sand
choking on our own stupidity
in the E.R. were everyone knew our names
eating our stories like chocolate cake
only to do it all over again
after the next good storm

one more time it starts to rain
so into the tent we go again
cards or checkers to go with your gin
no twin otter today and rations are thin

only one pack left of my Export A's
so get on the sched and see what he says
is it sposed to pour for days and days
only Coppermine trout, make today's filets

them caribou looking mighty good
but propane low and we're north of wood
ceiling is dropping down to the ground
so pass that bottle once more around

diamonds in rough no use to us now
like Franklin before are we goin' down
at what point did he say oh boys this is it
ace high don't cut it in a seven day sh*t

ace high don't cut it in a seven day sh*t
might as well let go and be rid of it
step outside in the wind and rain
then venture into the forest again...

look for shelter under a tree
take off your clothes and feel really free
see the rainy wind blow easing your pain
say hello to a rainbow as the rain starts to wane...

Say hello to a rainbow as the rain starts to wane
and watch the whooping crane
do its dance
and then take a chance
and do that dance for yourself
you surley gain some wealth
inside your soul
something you can get old
and still feel
that it is real

it is real
that's the deal
always go with
how you feel
like an onion you peel
each layer is thin
protected by skin
where no one can sin
in this realm of heaven
where no one can kill
even with skill
your true nature

what your saying is we cant have it all
although it sure had been one heck of a ride
Im ok with that fact and Im still alive to see
I have always found my spiritual guide

and thats all I need really knowing God
on this journey has stayed right here
giving me the strength I need to succeed
remembering to cherish what I hold dear

To my relative

nor buy the things going down
I'd rather steal... a passing look
a minute of your time,
that book from the docs office
with that good article
I'd rather have a piece of your mind
never minding if they're not congruent
different ages different races
invading each othes spaces
not up for a war, my victory has been covered
just as friends, not as lovers
I'd like to see the cause behind
your alcoholic ways, i like to try 'n
ease your pain, though I call
you cannot listen
judging sheer aftereffects

judging sheer aftereffects
like cholera it inflicts and infects
creepy sleep so deep and dark
with neural sparks like white teeth of a shark

momma hold me, you told me you would
always save me, I prayed that you could
now the sun is down and I am the light
without fright, sweet ma, sweet dreams and good night

without fright, sweet ma,
sweet dreams and good night
just don't hold on too tight
or I'll soon take flight
disappearing into the light
though try as I might to be free
attachment returns to me
reminding me how lovely
love can be

I am up for knowing I'm wrong
They kept singing that song
,I'm wrong, I'm wrong
They sing all day long
But I say I'm right
I see the light
and when I'm right I'm right
I'll put up a fight.

i'll put up a fight
to stop the plight
of those who struggle for life
of those who live with strife
of those who die from the point of knife
or shot from a gun in the dark of night
i'll put up a fight
but not with a weapon
that loads ammunition
but more with the might
of our energy in flight
so often silent
and out of sight

And out of sight
flying high
towards the light
Life passing by
as I fly
in a dream world
headed for the moon
to sit and watch the earth twirl
but Ill be back real soon
to see you all again
and to find the one
that I can call my friend
while we sit under the sun

while we sit under the sun
watching the moonlight beckon
daring to peak out across the sky
fading light while the sun shines high
but when the sun goes down
and dips below the ground
then the moon will start to rise
and bring a magic to our eyes
then her light will make waves rise
as we sit completely mesmerized

as we sit completely mesmerized
hypnotizes by your eyes
I see inside you
deep inside all the way through
never forget to Keep dancing
so I will keep glancing
at your smile on your face
In all your good grace

The one so perfect I smile
for that I'd walk a mile
and probably more
it wouldn't be a chore
and it wouldn't be absurd
if you could find the perfect word
to say what you feel
to make it real

to make it real
I tried time and again
but who can tell how one can turn
dreams to reality?
just before dawn
it all seems possible and easy
but when the shadows cast get long
illusions faint

for thy or thee or even
me of simple mind
does hate the pain
that causes my pleasurer
I wish to surrender
stuck in hollow
to big to crawl out of
I sit and think
inhaling the smell
caused by bad attitudes
that dwell
in yea of simple minds
