simple minds find happiness everywhere~
skipping through life like its a summers day
not a care for tomorrow its in Gods hands
having faith all will be right in the world
with a prayer promise smile and hope
these friends show me pure kindness
in the face of my adversaries scorning me
asking to embrace them too for they need love
when all really isnt this pretty picture they paint
but boy do they have one heck of a pallet
and some cool camel hair brushes
as they make me stop even if for a minute
looking through their eyes around me
wondering if they are the ones that have it right
its all in our perception what this life is after all

Its all in our perception what this life is after all
Which is true but then what it is they call
truth and reality nothing but hardships for some
and homeless men drunk on rum
and the world turns s round and round
tosses everything upside down
hopefully one day you will land
where you can be firm take a stand
don't hold out for the cheap wine
and make sure there is value in all your time.
and most of all the most important thing
this will make you sing
you have to love yourself
then you will have wealth
and love others too
its is so cool

it is so cool
to awaken to
a fresh new snow
on a day like today
with no where to go
but stay right here
with love so near
perhaps take a walk
in the frozen forest
or down by the pond
water in the round
a hermetic circle
in the ground
of trees leaning
towards me
protection you see
when i want to fly free
and take this all with me
transplant this vision
and all of her beauty
to wherever
it needs to be

It needs to be
it needs to be
the sunshine shining down on me
Good by snow
hello glow
I think I'll go plant a garden
in this fresh soils that has not harden
rich and black
not easily packed
plant some taters
and wait a bit later
then go fall asleep
by the fresh spring seep
under that big tree
dashahvou for me

was on beach listening to the crahin,
while you were catchin' last bit of sun lastin'
pickin up our picnic baskets
and us dumpin' the sand that had landed
and then there was the moon
a glowin' like the sun.... then
in the morning both havin' to run

now even on weekends we just reminisce
but once upon a time we used to kiss
and spend all day lazing in bed
now we'd rather talk instead
but it's just words going round my head
thinking it's brainwashing i was fed
for my heart knows our love didn't grow
and we just couldn't force it to flow
so when all else failed with nowhere to go
we parted ways from the highs and the low

antithetical to humane creed
planted inside our DNA seed
jealousy hatred and even greed
when only our soul is left to bleed

give me your hand but I will not lead
dreaming a dream the nastiest deed
in our minds these thoughts we do feed
remember the good these we can heed

that I naught...
has very little to do
with what I ought.
And I ought to mention
that I loved you full and well
within a restricted framework.
sir...do you remember
any time you connected your body
to this valuable earth?
Here in this last time, a very sorrowful time
one breath separates you
from becoming
a memory.
I will still remember you.
Your eyes lived you
with a certain authority until.
its the end.
only...remembering the fine mist
and clarity in your birth given eyes.
I will see you in the sky, like all the rest.

i am up for buying their lead
is that where you decided
that you could not accept
a civilizing lead...
a single woman held you in her belly
a single woman ate big time the dead
who are never born again. except in imagination.
what is born is the expectation
that each sunrise, each sunset
leaves one in synch
with a balance between
she, he....all that matters
is that your eyes
also held a mist.

maybe even a serpent devil you can beguile
paint a pretty picture right so all the while
you dish out crap thats even more vile...

dont come as you are but wear that smile

your heart's opening
release its glory!
keep relaying
its golden story...

sometimes high
and makes ya cry
and often with
a sad goodbye...

the day we move
on past this realm
it's your heart that
truly steers the helm

truly steers the helm
was when I saw a boy
in the man.
Now. Such a day
digesting another, friggen passing.
Oh I met you allrite.
I sheltered you in a long mile
replicating something called life.
Crystals of understanding
shattering.

(this is for you my J~ love you oxoxo)

crytals of understanding shattering our myths
can so easily be done without a hammer and chisel
walk inside the caves of thought to change them forever
hold a candle in the darkness and gaze upon the beauty
shooting ribbons of colors like rainbows glowing
in the minds of man with new ideas and renewed views
find the energy for transformation from within
before you go chasing reflected and refracted beacons
there really is no control over so find your own lumen's
brightly and boldly shine like you never have before
knowing we can change the world one vision at a time

knowing we can change the world one vision at a time
here, everything fell..all of it ...snow, rain, hail, a peek of sun
what dies excited? nothing. what dies speaking
the whole dies in one.
what recovers a vision
vision is beside the eternal point
here at a moment
is a vision
what dies
is what you may haved loved
and I loved you.
its so freakin simple.
ah.

and you loved yourself, and little else

at least that is what I thought I meant
what does that mean?
what do word gymnastics ever follow?
There is something very simple about
a single grass rebel struggling between sidewalk blocks
and there is a matter willing to deal with
these eyes you were born with
god...such a pause and filling
between a time I awknowledged your eyes
if you die? will you know that...
I understood every move.

they were trapped in a self destructive groove
their feet bound and unable to move
in a prison created by themselves in lust
ti's like a drug addiction to have it they must
youths wreckage is a false fountain from which to drink
and causes many a young soul in hell to sink
the climb for so few is one that can be made
for the others it is a dream all to soon to fade
come with me into the darkest reaches of the gutter
and I will show you disgust that is eaten like butter
filth scorn violence and the world in which they hate
making sex babies not wanted but its now too late
not knowing how to reach out for a helping hand
these bottom dwellers live across this American land
living on minimum wage public assistance hope is a cost
and another generation of youth pays and becomes lost
how do we end the cycle of deep poverty's grip?
as the endless ocean continues away to slip
farther and farther this country sinks in the hole
as everything else becomes a political goal

as everything becomes a political goal
especially while driving in for the goal
all text and talk a real baby charmer
only to find thats in the former
now too busy, the jobs too rough
you didn't think I meant all that stuff
here for the good times and the laughter
doesn't quite matter what happens after

to be sure that i don't die alone
and we all die alone.
everyone dies alone.
help is beside some point
that needs no taking.
because we die
alone, free to go.
leaving all that live
more than alone.
yet...what love you gave
comes back. With force
and magnitude
and what goes
never is over.
each full moon
is a new time...

each full moon is a new time
to feel what's real and divine
to shine above as we do below
to guide us brightly as we go
about our day perhaps to play
or maybe it's to work that day
for in the darkened sky at night
the moon bestows us with her light

wow.
woke up today
like any other
except for one thing
i was birthed by my mother
fifty three years past
finding out who i am at last....

yet the question of years
we fly through fast
what an enigma
or an anomaly
a strange twist
of trigonometry
mixed with irony....

for age seems sublime
if one believes in time
but some say
all that ever was
and ever will be
is here....
right now...
today...maybe

is here... right now...today...maybe
hicup or blink and you might just miss
your forever treasure will be lost
not to worry about the cost
wine and roses we do not need
let good manners and praticallity interceed

let good manners and practicallity interceed...
only when absolutely necessary
it's much better to be nuts sometimes
banana's or bonkers too
feels good to let your hair down
and run streaking through the zoo...

run streaking through the zoo
mistaken for some wild animal
there so they won't shoot you
withholding the wild cannibal

rooms with poles and chandeliers
to dance, swing, pratice the vaulting
some with nice pillars, letting go with no fear
where she landed, now there is chalking

where she landed, now there is chalking
here is another newsflash
when she danced on any pole
what mattered
was not the obvious.
grasshoppers have a way of being
something more than beautiful
she entered a space reserved
for something past the obvious
who can dispute
an invitation to beauty?
so faraway from mediocrity
and human desire.
