f a corporation breaks the law by you know...murdering someone or scamming billions out of their money. How is punishment to be dealt with?

"Punishment?...What punishment??...I don't have to get any steenking punishment!!" -- (alleged quote of anonymous Halliburton board member)

On the subject of micronations, it might really throw a wrench into the works of the international banks' plans of global domination if a few billion of us join up with this outfit:

I considered it myself, but, well, you guys know how I feel about monarchies.

Sealand has been recognized by Britain and Germany

Only in the sense that they could find it on the map. Britain recognizes it as a place to stay away from if they don't wanna get shot at & Germany recognizes it as the place they had to send a guy to negotiate the release of a German prisoner. I guess that kinda counts as recognition, but I don't think it's the diplomatic kind.

The micronation I feel sorriest for is the one some guys created in the Pacific near Fiji. They barely got it finished & it was annexed by Tonga. It kinda left those guys SOL for a country of their own.

>> Natural rights would not be based on legislation created by one people for "those" people but rather what is good for the whole human race.

totally agree

you can't right down rules in stone... the rules must come from a far more dynamic and "ultra-intelligent" force
The natural clear innate direct conscience is the rule base that all life on Earth uses/must use if it is to be sustainable (Stoic Philosophy)

unfortunately the conscience gets corrupted by justification... physical/mental poisoning of the being, so the control reverts to vested interests....who know better LOL

In this Age of Universal Madness.... justification rules... the conscience is dead.

The OP is a classic example of justification of self.

You can cover all the walls with rules... and never come even close to the power of the conscience...... rules lead to extinction
a pure conscience leads to eternal LIFE. (LIFE is the single super-organism of which all life forms are integral parts)

the principality of sealand is now for sale if anyone is interested...estimated price 10-99 million...they will sell it as long as is the purposes are within international law...lol...which I am not sure if selling an entire state is legal...wouldn't all the citizens of sealand have to agree to it besides the royal family...which are located throughout the world and have dual citizenship?

I am a Noble of Sealand........................ I really am, after all, I did pay for it.

Did you pay with your blood fighting side-by-side with your countrymen in the Great War of Sealand, or were you a "chicken hawk" that just bought the title in the mail?

some(one) who believes that they are "sovereign", yet live in and take benefits from a nation

What makes you think I take any benefits? The country is it's people, not it's de facto government (which is really only a corporate fiction). That's why I call it the land commonly called Canada (which I love dearly) as opposed to it's foreign-owned, financially & morally bankrupt corporate fiction called Canada (that exists to bleed the country (the people of Canada) of its wealth).

I received my Lordship almost 30 years after the War took place.

Just don't expect me to call you "m'lord."

Natural law? Taking a whizz or a dump is natural law - hey, when ya gotta' go, ya' gotta' go - and no law or by-law shall alter that. Being hungry and thirsty, natual law too. Being entitled to eat or drink? No.

"A man said to the Universe, "Sir, I exist"
"However that may be", came the reply, "that fact has not created in me a sense of obligation."

We've been thrown into the proverbial pool of life. And if we sink or swim is up to us. There are no lifegauards.

We can make up any raft of rules and rights that suit us, it does not follow that it's natural law. If anything, our rules and rights most often work contrary to natural law as we know it.

Canada provides military protection for all that live there, even those that spurn it...

In that case, Canada's military should be brought back home to protect us from the traitors that call themselves the government of Canada.

those that paid the ultimate sacrifice so you can now spout how you are "sovereign", they don't control you..

Some of those were from my own family. They died believing they were doing the right thing. They weren't, but I appreciate the sacrifice nonetheless. I strongly suspect that if they had known what I know, they would have turned on our government and fired their bullets in the proper direction.

what you will never get past is the FACT that if it wasn't for the government of Canada providing the umbrella of security that it provides for ALL

What umbrella of security??? The security of being children of a pseudo-socialist nanny state? The FACT is that the government of Canada is a gang of crooks who hold up the Canadian people at gunpoint. The "protection" they offer is no different than the "protection" Al Capone might have offered us. Frankly, I have more respect for old Al than I do for our government...At least he was an honest crook and not some treasonous, lying, internationalist, bankster crook, like the government of Canada.

You tell me how our Prime Chimp's giving away our sovereignty to the G20 protects my country and increases my "security." You tell me why the government of Canada uses the people of Canada as collateral on private bank loans (sweet deal...the collateral pays the loan) making us debt slaves to private banks, instead of borrowing from us (and paying any interest to the Canadian people, instead of their bankster cronies). You tell me how an obviously unsustainable economic system that drains nations of their wealth, their sovereignty and even their dignity is something I should be grateful for.

You might find it easier to tell me that Canada should be a republic, owned & run by the people of Canada, because that is something I can agree with quite easily and something I hope to help happen. Gee, a republic of the people, by the people & for the people...Where have I heard that before?... Oh yeah...Isn't that what you guys started with?...What went wrong?

It is clearly in my opinion that Dukky does make sense. He is very entertaining in the expression of his ideas in relation to this thread. I also happen to agree with the OP.
In reference to the issue of bearing arms I am a firm believer in my right, natural or not to do so. I will continue to protect myself, family, friends, and property even if I have to blow someone away. I bear my arms regularly...

If a bear with bare arms was to bear arms by way of a knife
What natural law would be relevant ?
