And in a move NO ONE saw coming the 'Skins picked Trent Williams at #4, thereby guaranteeing that Russell Okung will make the Hall of Fame in about 20 years, lol. But at least he went to the Seahawks and won't stay in our division...

I can not believe the pick the Eagles made. When they moved up to pick 13 I thought they would pick Wilson or Pouncy. I screamED wtf. They did not have to move that far up to pick Grahm. They gave away 2 3rd round picks to move up. The Giants and Cowboys got better player. I just hope I'm wrong about Brandon Graham. Now we will see what happens in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

Did I not say that the Broncos were gunning for Tebow? Although it happened in the 1st round. I don't think Josh McDaniels knows what the hell he's doing in these drafts. He had plenty of time to pull it off in the 2nd and get something much better in the 1st besides Tebow.....I'm shocked about the Broncos....Hell, even Tebow is shocked that he went in 1st.

broncs, maybe McDaniel thought that the Broncos lacked a spiritual presence, so he drafted a team preacher! May God's blessings be upon you!

Tonights the 2nd round draft, which is exciting as watching the 1st round and I still see a lot of good players available. My predictions.....

I can see Jimmy Clausen from Notre Dame going to Browns. He's only the top QB remaining and the Browns are certainly in need for a future QB.

LB Sergio Kindle from Texas is still available and most predicted he would have gone in the 1st round. He'll most likely be gone in the top five picks in the 2nd round. I would say Eagles will take him....I thinky!!!

I'm hoping the Patriots go after these two players, DT Terrence Cody or WR GoldenTate/Emmanuel Sanders. Most likely defense over offense, but its just wishful thinking. They may not go after DT, but it would be a big mistake if they don't get Terrence Cody unless he's gone early, but I see the needs and Patriots are need certainly in need for DE or OLB.

Stay tuned!!!

wiz, I'm predicting, here and now, that Jake Delhomme is among the final candidates for comeback player of the year with the Browns. Last season, he was about 7 months removed from having "Tommy John" surgery. In MLB, the normal recovery time for that type of operation is about 18 months. I think he'll comeback strong this year.

I don't know about that....It's hard to believe under Mangina.

I have a feeling the Bears truly screwed themselves for not having any picks for 1st and 2nd round. Their next pick is 75 overall in the 3rd and they better go after a WR to help out poor Cutler, since they haven't done any moves during this offseason with free agents.

Word on the street is that his contract with Nike can now be finalized .
The shoes will be Tim 1:25

Tebow fans , while disappointed that he didn't go to the Jags or Bucs ,
are finding consolation in the fact that he is actually a mile closer to God .
Even closer with the jump pass .....
There is talk of Denver installing a Wild Prophet offense ....

Meanwhile , Jags fans are up in arms over the selection of a non-SEC player with too many vowels in his name .
"We'll show Weaver , we won't buy any of them seats we didn't buy anyways , so there !"

I was surprised to see Tebow go before Jimmy Clausen.

OK Mother Flucking Seahawks got my man Earl Thomas. UHHHGGGG!!!

However I'm happy with Giants pick of Jason Pierre-Paul. LOL in my first original draft on Deeds mock draft thread I put Safety Earl Thomas first, and DT Dan Williams second and DE 4th. I thought Giants would go for a DT before a DE because on DT we have Tuck and Osi. On DE we have Bernard who is aging and Canty who s*cked. Could be they plan on using Coefield and Hendricks for DT. I know Osi has been b*tching about having to fight for starter position at DE since the 2009 post season., and Coughlin told him he must earn it. Either way we are short handed on the Defensive line so overall I'm happy with the pick.

Yeswho I think Brandon Graham is a good pick. LOL I wouldn't mind him on the Giants roster. LOL, I'm glad they didn't pick Earl Thomas like they were predicting.... that would have really pissed me off more than the Seahawks getting him.

Bronc, I hate everything about the Gators past, present and future, but I will say this about Tebow, i was looking at an old football game the Titans vs the Steelers, I say Tebow reminds of Steve Mcnair, I hate him too, but they play tough taking on Linebackers and all. I can see tebow having a career like him, but if he plays like he did in college he will be injury prone.

the Hail Mary Pass

I dunno wiz , the Vatican's tryin' that one pretty regular lately ,
it may get lost in the flak .

Jumpin' Jehosaphat maybe .......

``````````````````````````````````````
Side note , I dunno what Oakland's needs were , but I hope Oakland's D has some kinda supporting cast already for McClain .
The Jags were hoping he or CJ Spiller ( I think) but Alualu looks like a solid pick .
Nancy the reason I did not like the pick of Graham was that he was not even listed in any of the mock drafts that I read.They gave up too much to go up in the draft.They could have gotton him a little bit lower. At least they got the saftey from Florida Allen.I do not proclaim to be an expert but the DE the Giants picked is a better player.As U said last night I hope I'm wrong.
Wow, Campbell goes to the Raiders. Yuck, I like Campbell I wish he would have gone to a better team, not a Raider fan at all. LOL, one of those teams I just don't like.
Oh well, I hope he is happy there.
Wow, Campbell goes to the Raiders.
Usually this time of year we're all having some good laughs at the Raiders expense. But, I think they did a good job with their draft and an excellent job getting Campbell. He should fit in their system very well. I think the Raiders will be a better team this year; possibly giving the Chargers a scare in the division.
I think the Broncos took a step backwards, and are probably the worst team in the AFC West this year after their puzzling draft.
I see Campbell getting worst and not better especially to a team like the Raiders. I think that's a franchise that all players dread to go, unless they really need a paycheck.
Your too kind, we might be one of the worst teams in the afc, never mind the afc west. We did get a good gaurd and center later in draft, but i will never understand the Tebow pick, Mcdummy is gonna live and die with the Tebow pick....we shall see..
it amazes me how these socalled experts can predict an unsucessful nfl career for Tebow and usually they we bring up some other former player who wasn't sucessful. I believe just like with polls you can get them to say whatever point your trying to convey that you can also cherry pick and review every position in the nfl and find a player that was picked to be the best or second coming and fizzled while vice versa you can find late round picks who had a sucessful career.
So lately I have been hearing how Leaf,Couch,Ware and several other's who was misses or former Gator players who didn't have nfl sucess after playing on sucessful Gator teams. Like Tebow had something to do with that.
All I know is the kid was a winner and while doing so he kicked alot of big 10, big 12 teams making alot of enemies in the process so alot of these journalist seems to have an axe to grind. I sure hope Tim Tebow is sucessful and leads the Bronco's back to a superbowl title before his career is over and also enjoy the process of becoming a pro quarterback too.
You make many good points, Mrlove45. The draft isn't an exact science. It is the consensus that Tebow was a reach for a 1st round pick, and the Broncos gave up a lot to get him. He could turn out to be a solid pro qb; but I don't think anybody thinks he will do that until several if not many years from now. He seems like a Steve Young type of qb to me; better runner than passer, but someone who can develop in time; not a first-rounder. College success doesn't always translate into success at the next level.
