under the sink he had 8 (YES , eight) boxes of Fleet enemasPage 4 of 5    (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

Met a guy on a dating site, and have gone on 3 dates.

Mabye he had hemorrhoid surgery. That isn't something you're likely to hear about after only 3 dates.

If someone I'd only dated a few times came out of my bathroom..
questioned me about things I had in cabinets...
I'd not be at all happy about that.
So going back to the living room and asking him.. stupid idea, in my mind.

I buy things in bulk. IF I happened to see that, I would have thought nothing of it.

Some people do the whole enema thing to "clean" themselves for natural-health reasons. Some people are into that -- could even be related to, as others suggest, to discomfort or some probs down (or up) there.

I wouldn't jump to gay sex. He could be full-on germaphobe... but likes when a woman sticks her finger(s) in his ass ... or even having her strap something on -- and wants to keep the experience squeaky clean.

Could also be stuff he has for his parents, who knows. I wouldn't let that affect how things are going. If you like him, maybe a couple dates later, after you two get some intimacy going, just ask him!

Here's a thought...be a courteous host...prior to inviting someone over, especially a female, make sure the TP roll is a fresh one. Then no one has to look for it.
This wasn't intentional snooping, this was looking for a neccesity item. In the process she came across what would make most people at least wonder.

If I felt comfortable enough to spend time alone in the home of a man I'd met only three times, yet didn't feel comfortable enough asking a perfectly understandable question about something I came across (not searched) for, I'd not be happy at all about myself!

What with all of this negative image of enemas, I think we are being unnecessarily hard on the lowly enema salesman. What of the factory workers that make the enemas? What of their families, many of whom might even have small, constipated children whose lives are made better by these fine, sterile, bowel-evacuating aids?

I don't think it is a "perfectly understandable question".
I just happen to think that any of my personal stuff
that is behind closed cabinet doors
is not anyone's business to ask me about
nor would I ask anyone about their personal stuff..
unless we were very good friends and/or in an established relationship.

This is why I'm addicted to the forums, lol. He might have been a boyscout and taking the motto "be prepared" to the extreme, never know when you might have a poop emergency.
It could be for medical reasons or some people do them to flush out the body of toxins and maybe he does like anal sex, only he knows for sure, I don't think I would have the nerve to ask thou.

I think the OP should be ashamed of herself for posting this. What if the poor man reads this?

She has a Bachelors Degree. She's in Health Care. She's a nurse mabe? A professional?

She has "no clue" as to why he has them and puts this on a public forum?

Shame.

Is he OCD? maybe he has an Issue about cleanliness. maybe he just got a good deal on them from Cosco. If it was a simple saline solution then maybe he has them for other uses. i knew some one used to use them for cleaning their ears and sinus' as well.

What would you say if you found a condom tree under my sink ?
Some smart people put "odd things" in the bathroom just to find out if you are a nosy person. I have about 30 perfume bottles by the sink and about 10 more unused ones in one of the drawers. Women are always amazed to the amount of perfume Ihave and they make comets about it after using my bathroom(quest)'
After they make this comment I reply back to them "That's not all of it".
These dumb chicks always say"I know".

this topic should be under the humor section!
I have not laughed this hard all day!
I would have wiped, washed my hands, & kindly excused myself!

8 boxes? Maybe he gets them at Costco? Why not just get a enema bag? I'm betting he takes medication that can cause constipation. It seems every med does nowadays. Esp the ones for pain management. Or suffers from an anal fissure. So did you just ask him?

I believe the Original poster doesn't even have a profile anymore!!
For that matter....most the other people who posted are gone or passed....for all we know!!

One of the reasons....I hate reviving old posts!!!

Would you have felt any different if you just would have discovered an old fashioned bag, with hose and nozzles?
