Which gender gets more out of sex the Male or the Female?

If one gets more than the other, then you're not doing it right..

Who gets more out of it? Okay, men want it most of the time and get it some of the time. Women do not want it all the time, but when they go for it, they can get it any time.

The man pays for dinner, flowers, picks her up, takes her back and gets a headache from her. She plays with her food, doesn't eat it because she is on a died, decides that she will/will not sleep with the guy over dessert.

I think definitely women get more out of sex.

What is the point of this thread?

I think it's that the OP has itchy ears all too often.

~OT~ Being a woman, I can only answer from where I sit and that answer? If sex is done right, it's beneficial to both parties. If he's not happy, I'm not happy. If he's sexually aware at all, he wouldn't be happy if I'm not happy. (This is not splitting the atom or curing cancer.) JMO

Actually,.It's not a question of what you get out of it,. but what you put INTO it..
If.. I do what I have learned to do,. there is NO question in my mind that I will probably get more out of it. See, I want to take her where most don't even know where to go, or even what they're missing. If I can take her there, show her, make her feel that for the very first time.. then I getting off even better than she is, because she's feeding MY desire then and I'm absorbing that intensty like it's electric current. The more she feels, the more it completes me...and there is NO rush on the planet that can even come close,.. not even death. But, that's just my opinion on it,. talk amungst yourselves...

In a good encounter, everyone gets what they want and goes home happy.

I agree--that's the ideal, whether or not someone goes home.

Unfortunately, my experience and that of many women is that many men focus on their own pleasure and do not attend to their partner's. This is shortsighted since it causes many women to lose interest and then the men don't get what they want.

I'm not so sure about this. I know it's an age-old complaint, and I understand why that wouldn't be much fun. But at the same time, if each one focuses too much on the other's experience, it can take some of the heat out of things.

If you're having dinner with someone, constantly wondering how much they're enjoying the experience isn't exactly the best way to enjoy it yourself. And when they notice that, they won't have as much fun, either.

I think if either one of you isn't that much in the mood, it's best to wait until you both are instead of trying to force things. When you're comfortable with someone and attracted to them, things just seem to happen.

Look at our prison population where straight men will have sex with other men to relieve their horniness

They mostly do it for control, dominance, and to assert authority. They can whack off to relieve horniness.
My friend works corrections at a maximum security federal prison and says sodomy is not as common as everyone thinks. Usually, a gang member assigns it to a "soldier" to teach someone a lesson not to fvck around with another gang member. It's done in a violent way, not a sexually pleasing one, and is meant to demean and harm the victim, or to give him HIV or Hepatitis.
But, to a small extent you're correct. Only difference from your theory to my friend's witnessed events is that many of them are in fact gay, or leave prison as gay men.

On topic:
Who knows who gets more out of it? Every situation is different. I had a relationship once where I rarely came during sex but she always did and never finished me off, even when I asked for it. I had another one when I was young where I got off and she didn't, and I didn't help her finish, left her frustrated a lot (hey, at least I learned my lesson!). In my current relationship, we've gotten to the point, through practice, where we cum at the same time, which is the BEST!!!

What is the point of this thread? What is your question?

Nice to know you're just a bundle of joy to everyone who posts stuff.

You should check out her history. She posted a thread titled "Delete me, nevermind"
The answer to that one would be "Let's don't but say we did"

Socrates theorised that women enjoyed sex more.
I don't know what he based that on, but I agree.

I'm thinking women got more nerves and fun bits entwined in their Female anatomy
then us guys do in our tool.(which can very in size, but never compare in complexity.)

Plus women just scream so much louder than guys do.
(Atleast with me.)
If us guys yelled like that, I would think we got the better goods.

On an individual basis, an orgasm is an orgasm so if each person has one, they're more or less even. But in general terms, it's pretty well documented that more women have difficulty achieving orgasm during sex so on the whole, men are ahead. I also read somewhere that it typically takes a woman about 20 minutes to become fully aroused (thus the need for foreplay) whereas men can usually be fully aroused in seconds so presumably, men really bump their orgasm numbers with quickies.

"I've enough experience to know that most guys are not great in bed"
Wow, that statement surprised me. Do a lot of women feel that way? Could you establish any correlation to other traits that tell you before the deed whether he is great or not?

I haven't experienced a guy who seemed to know incredible secrets that other guys don't know, which is why I'm always a bit curious when a woman claims her guy is sooooo amazing in bed. But I would say guys seem to be somewhat evenly split between good (or at least adequate) and awful, the latter of which I'm inclined to attribute to age or inexperience. Awful would be the two-pump wonder or the two thousand-pump monster. It would be the guy who's not particularly comfortable with female genitalia so he barely gets his face and mouth in there or he treats the clit like a crosswalk button (and like a crosswalk button, jamming your finger on it over and over with full force isn't going to make anything happen faster).

Chances are if you're a guy who truly delights in the female anatomy and pleasing your woman, you're not going to fall into the "awful" category. Well, unless you smell bad or you're hung like a field mouse.

My SO is the best lover I've ever had. I'm sitting here feeling guilty because he focused on me last night to such an extent he rendered me almost comatose and I was barely responsive to a middle of the night advance I always welcome (I also worked out to intensely and too two dance classes in two days). He clearly derives pleasure from making me cum over and over but I do sometimes feel guilty that he has one orgasm for my 6. I made him a pumpkin pie......hope that makes up for some of it!

The only interest I have in this discussion, aside from what ever jokes get posted, is, IF a conclusion is ever drawn, what benefit do we get from it? What insight? Learning? Self-improvement tips?

Without some sort of payoff, it's just chat for the sake of chat. Bleah.

Besides, with the OP being so vaguely phrased, the thing has ALREADY morphed in several different directions, and it all appears to have INITIALLY been the set up for an unfunny, and not at ALL thought-provoking, dumb joke response. Seriously, although there IS an old, too often used pseudonym for sex ("scratching that itch"), in the event, a sex act is USUALLY at least INTENDED to be a mutual activity. Scratching an itch is NOT, hence the "joke" is neither funny, nor offers anything intriguing to ponder.

I don't think you can find a concrete answer to that question since it all comes down to the person and their partner.

I've been with women that were boring as all hell and other that blew my mind!!!! I know that women will say the same thing about their own experience.

So all and all, I don't think you can quantify an answer.

Most of the men who are amazing or really please...somewhere along the line ran into a woman who was really open and at ease with her sexuality and she was really good at pleasing a man. In this the man learned how to be open, she was good at expressing what worked for her, and because when one pleases you, typically most return the favor.

What you described is where I'd put the guys I classified as "good". I still have a hard time believing there are secret techniques that only the rare man knows about. More likely, I think that "amazing sex" is the result of a great chemistry between the two people OR it's coming from someone who's only had "awful" sex before so the "good" sex seems amazing in comparison.

Either your picking the wrong ones or just haven't run into him yet...or it could be something about you.
Where I think you're correct in this statement is the latter part. A woman's orgasm IS very much about the woman and about her familiarity with pleasing herself (which I'll concede that a guy could teach her about, but it still doesn't put him head and shoulders above the rest in the technique department). I know this will come as a shock to many of the guys who like to fancy themselves incredible lovers and take all the credit. Read through these forums and see how often guys say, "I made her come five times" whereas women are more likely to say, "He came five times." Come to think of it, that fragile male ego is probably the reason why some women will put up with mediocre sex for a long time.

I'll add that I could have just as easily categorized the two groups as "amazing" and "awful", my point is that there isn't a drastic difference in actual skills among the guys in the former group.

I would evaluate my experiences as ranging from neutral to awesome, so it appears that guys are not as good as girls in the sack.
I don't think it's about one gender being better in the sack than the other. There's no question that guys have to figure out what to do with more complex parts so there's a lot more room for error. And when a guy doesn't know what he's doing, it can be downright painful for the woman. On the flip side, a woman can literally just lay there and it still wouldn't be awful for a guy.

Sounds shytty to me. It's almost always a mistake to speak for others, especially when you're a girl, presuming to know what "a guy" feels, or thinks, or a guy, speaking with any authority about what a woman might think or feel.
Maybe the problem really is in the OP's question itself, inviting us all to make these necessarily baseless judgments.

My mistake in the phrasing. What I should have said is that from what I've heard from countless numbers of men is the notion that "even when sex is 'bad', it's still pretty good." If it would be impossible for you to have an orgasm with a woman who just lied there, then it would seem you're in the minority based on what I've heard.

""what benefit do we get from it?"
Hmmm. Suppose we determine that women get twice as much out of it as men, I could boink my partner and tell her to do the dishes and bring me a beer to call it even... Or you get a get-out-of-a-chore-free card for every time you do her. Fair is fair. At least it would put an end to these entitlement battles, because what's good for the goose is only half as good for the gander. Or it gives men leverage for an FMF threesome. I'll think about the applications after we have a confirmed solution."

Yes, but the problem you STILL have with this, as you have from the beginning, is that you want to declare that AS A GENDER, women have it better than men, so therefore AS AN INDIVIDUAL, you should be allowed to declare that SHE owes you more than a good time.

Your fundamental logic is entirely defective.

So again, there is no possible use to deciding that IN GENERAL, "some people" get more out of anything than "some other people."

Women have a easy life in terms of sex and dating. They don't even need a picture on here to be flooded with messages. Who enjoys it more is a different story. I think it depends on the individuals sex drive. Both genders can hate sex or be sex mad.
