From the standard 25 year old that thinks he's a stud and I should be honoured that he digs older chicks - "I'd like to get into your pants"

Response - "No thanks, one azzhole in there is enough".

From the guy who couldn't take a polite hint that I wasn't interested and kept sending me messages even though I was responding to them with a yes or no: "Whats the matter with you? Cat got your tongue?"

Response: "No---but it looks like he got your face." Meooowww!

Your questions may lead to dating. Which leads to more questions.

I dated a guy once for two years and then the
nagging questions started : "What's your name?"

That's funny. It's all about perspective: male vs. female perspective ;)

"Age is only a number."

Yes, if you don't know any more at 40 than you did at 14.

I sent these two replies yesterday, the first one to an older guy, the second to a 27 year old.

1) He emailed "You still on here", I said "nope, I'm a figment of your imagination"

2) He emailed "what you doing tonight?", I said "not you".

Sometimes you can send them and sometimes we just wish we could send them.

In response to an angry reply:

I can say I like your eye color and not mean "I want to sleep with you". We men can be complimentary without an ulterior motive, its called being nice.

Welsh, thanks darling love it "He emailed "You still on here", I said "nope, I'm a figment of your imagination"

I've had the are you still here? It's not even irony, because it's a sign of delusion, denial, deflection. Like you could ask "why are you STILL here" when they are too. It's the part that never crosses their gray matter, only why are YOU still here.

It's humorous, and not worthy of asking so, why are you here? Yeah, I've done it, with absolutely no expectations other than a good laugh. Never been disappointed, IF they reply. I know they don't have an answer and have no capacity for understanding mine.

Quick story, I am a Baptist, only as a membership affiliation, so I'm out at a BAR..akk..doing karaoke, having a great time. All of a sudden, someone from my Sunday School Class (should be queing up some music) and asks, no lie what are you doing here. Huh, well what is she doing here, same thing as I am, assuming, having fun, singing and enjoying socialization with other grownups. For her it was the deer in the headlights, gonna go tell someone...go ahead. If she wasn't there too...I just don't go places where I'm afraid someone will see me, for her it was an experience. It's just one of those...DOH...why am I here...there are so many responses that aren't worth writing. Unless I come up with a real funny one.

So why am I still here? Really, been having a great time, meeting lots of wonderful people, with a few distractions of.. well people that don't know how to do that. It's been a great experience for me, overall, there are still the ...emails there are no replies for, or just the hi...it doesn't ruin at all the big picture for me. I'm still having a great time!

^^^^I generally think to myself, thanks for sharing that--it lets me know that you're not capable of writing anything of interest and lets me know that you have nothing to share of any consequence or would like to put the effort into a real conversation.
OR
that you like to waste time and go around telling woman that they're beautiful
OR
gee, you really like to waste time.

I have only had one such message so far (on another site), and I simply moved on, but in a face to face encounter, I know that I would say "You're observational analysis is accurate. My compliments to your optometrist."

I love the "nice tan lines" comments when I reply "thanks"
and get "is that all you have to say"?

"No"- and then I delete all their mail.

I'm not all that fond of three word missives. Therefore, I don't get them. There's a handy little box on "edit your email preferences" that allows one to disallow messages shorter than 50, 100, 200, 300 characters. The downside is that you can't then complain about three word messages. . . . The upside is you don't have to waste time composing snappy comebacks for mail you wish you'd never seen. . . .

when those young ones contact me, I never know quite what to say ... I FEEL like saying, "oh, for God's sake! I'm OLD and you're a horny CHILD! go AWAY! I'm looking for a grown-up!"

they say: "hi - yur hot - i like older women!"

I say: "I don't CARE that you like older women!"

they say: "how you doin?"

I say: "ok."

they say: "what you doin?"

I say: "reading your message."

some of those kids must be bored beyond belief!

I really do forget about message length settings-
Its more a comment than complaint.
Downside- thats what I get for posting cleavage.
Upside- it gets me dates ; )

OK this by far has to be the best.
This came as an IM. Window pops up and the message:
"Would you be interested in getting choked out?"
For those that are unfamilar this is affixation or cutting off air supply during the course of an intimate act, in order to bring a heightened sexual pleasure or release. (tactfully put)
My reply: "Would you be interested in going to jail?" , block user and close IM.

I mean to have this be an initial contact w/ someone you don't know. What on earth in my appearance or profile would indicate this as a turn on for me-ugh!! WTF
Way too many young guys looking for a piece. Correction-too many guys-period, looking for just a piece-not limited to young-believe me!
