Yep, after 4 years of shaving, I decided to let it grow for a change. I seriously miss the bald head, I think I looked younger without the white hair. It will be interesting to see if I get more contacts now.

I think the only way to know for sure is to show only one look. Try pics with hair, only.

I don't think a selfie would do it justice. It would be hard to get just the right angle.

Don't you want my moon to shine ?

As for chuckie, i'm told in another forum there's a methead who does great selfies. Maybe she can help with some lessons.

I have a bald spot.

It's never been an issue. If it was, I never met the woman anyway.

Besides, it's a two way street: the more requirements she throws at you, the more you can throw at her...

...But, people who live like that never find love anyway (unless she is Ms. Perfect and happens to run into Mr. Perfect)

Picky people usually sleep alone.

if you were a camera buff, we could make a joke about the original Brownie. still, if you like impaling yourself with selfie sticks, think of what you could save on prostate exams?

GTO, it's a 10 bolt GM with 3:08 gears.

Thought I would leave one bald photos up. You never know, might get a woman that thinks the smooth, tanned, shaved head is attractive!

Grover, It's hard for me to imagine you being a loner for long. One way or the other, no hair, or with hair, your smile is truly charming. :)

Thank you, Red, but it's my own fault. I've always been pretty picky, and I avoid other people's drama. Add the fact that I have had my heart broken a couple times makes it hard to trust someone.

3.08 gears, there's a long distance runner.

maybe one of the biggest reasons for a man not getting many dates in life, is trying to avoid drama. Or maybe its when we get older and theoretically smarter about drama. When I was young, I was picky b/c I thought i'd be able to do better than the women chasing after me when I went to a big university and had the numbers on my side--i'd be able to find that woman who supposedly found personality more attractive than looks. Had I been a drinker, that still could have happened :)

but at this age, cruising the bar for drunk chicks doesn't get you much in the way of quality. A 22 yr old who spends Saturday nights in a bar? normal. A 50 yr old? danger, will robinson! so much for hoping beer goggles will help out.

I go on a lot of dates. And I live through a lot of drama. Sometimes it is actually amusing. You just have to have the right attitude, the right outlook. But if you weed through the drama, and the melodrama, you can still find real people, and have some good times. You just have to be able to laugh at the rough spots, not take them seriously.

Hey, it beats sitting home on Saturday night watching reruns of Gilligan’s Island!

Oh, drama can be amusing from arm's distance. I have two female friends who I could write books about. but for whatever reason they don't draw me into it as much as they could (whew!). But to be frank, if these two weren't genetically attractive, I probably wouldn't put up with their drama very long. I envy your potential to find the "Real people" (remember when that was a TV show?). Around here, the joke is, "normal people are just people you don't know well enough yet". There are some good people, and as expected, they're taken--who would find a reason to let them go? I see that in some of the ladies posting here, they talk about the bad choices they made when younger, and then when they stopped looking for that and decided to look for a good guy....they found one, and haven't had to go out on a date looking for a good guy since, so I won't be getting a date from them, natch.

but then, if women said yes to me more often, I might find there are good ones here, too :) But I suspect good ones know their value, and are waiting out for the hotter looking fellows. Can't blame them for that, i'm not desperate either. Maybe when i'm old and wrinkly, all the widows will just be looking for someone who still has their teeth and driver's license, and then my proverbial ship will have come in, lol
