What is you actual point here about Wooden.

He means all of Woodens players were way much better than he was, He just happen to be the one coaching them.

Who me? Why because i rep actual facts in Woodens defense. I don't see how that correlates to me being a basketball player when you see all of his accomplishments.

Of course he will run more than pass right now, that's where he is the most strongest at att this point. He is developing his throws to be a better QB. It's a work in progress in which i strongly believe he will get better at over time. He played his best game as a starter last week.

But lets look at the better pass rush defense that the Broncos offensive line did for Tebow this past week compared to the Lions two weeks ago. Whatever Fox did during those pratices the offensive line did a much better job protecting against the pass rush against the Raiders than they did against the lions which also greatly contributed to Tebow having enough time in the pocket to throw the balls that he did last week against the Raiders.

Yeah, I guess it really made a difference in Coach Woodens carreer...........

do you forget that soon what you wrote?

You must have been an all star basketball player...........

Sounded like a sarcastic remark towards me, because of what MGM wrote.

I'll tell you what since they are playing KC i'm willing to bet that Tebow has more completion passes then he did against the raiders.

Wooden was good Steel....But He coached David Thompson, Lew Alcinder, Bill Walton, Richard Washington, Sibney Wicks who were All The Most Valuable Players in the whole Men's NCAA Tournament under the years they played under Wooden.

Hey MGM

You must have been an all star basketball player...........

Well I did make all-stars but I also followed the game on a yearly bases.
Please tell me Paul what did you say or mean when you said" What is your actual Point about Wooden'?????????

David Thompson ???
as in David Skywalker ?
as in N. C. State's David Thompson ?
and the Denver Nuggets David Thompson ?
and as the late Gary Coleman used to say, "what you talkin' 'bout, Willis?"

In 1974, David Thompson led N.C. State to the NCAA title over Wooten's Bruins.

Your right Pete David Thompson did play for the Wolfpack to win the Title over the Bruins........But then again another name comes to mind Elvin Hayes the "Big E" but wait it was his Houston team that snapped one of UCLA's winning streak at one time......Other players I remembered that Wooden coached went on to be NBA Super Stars., Lucius Allen, Marques Johnson, Jamal Wilkes etc.

So what does this have to do with Tebow anyway? Amen.

Nothing.

Tim Tebow was an incredible quarterback for the Florida Gators. I think he will end up being an incredible professional quarterback also if he is given the chance to mature and develop. People berated Doug Flutie too and look how great he turned out to be. Give him a chance and stop with the negativity. If heart and determination have anything to do with being a great quarterback, then he'll show them all, in spades! You go, Tim!!

2-8? That sounds like more like the line of a poor shooting, pass first, college basketball point guard.

That said, somehow that equates to a 103 rating, and more importantly...a win.

I find it amazing that all the Tebow naysayers seem to forget just what an elite college athlete he was. In 2007, he became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy and also the first college player to both rush and pass for 20 touchdowns or more. He also won the Maxwell Award as the nation's top football player, the Davey O'Brien Award as the nation's best quarterback and the James E. Sullivan Award as the nation's most outstanding amateur athlete in any sport. Then in 2008, he led the Gators to their second national championship in three years and was named the offensive MVP of the BCS game. He threw for 2 touchdown passes in that game.

Granted, college and pro football have their differences but it's not like they are completely different. And if ANYONE has the determination and work ethic it takes to make it as an NFL quarterback, my money is on Tim Tebow.

Remember how everyone raved about Ryan Leaf in 1998? What a terrific pro quarterback he'll make. He was a dismal failure whose 'career' (and I use the term loosely) lasted 4 yrs. He had NO work ethic. No desire to be a success. He was a joke. He was the antithesis of Tim Tebow.

I'd be fascinated to know in 3 or 4 yrs who still feels that Tim Tebow is a lousy quarterback or whether he has made the grade. Again, my money's on Tim.

He completed 2 of 10 passes for 69 yards ? But, a win is a win.
His recievers must love him. Pretty easy job being a reciever in Denver.
Way to pad the stats Tim !

I drank that warm beer with pride, because they still won under him and he did throw a nice "long" 56 yard pass for a touchdown. Like Al Davis used to say. "Just win baby!" and the Broncos are doing just that with Tebow. 3-1 as a starter. That's 3 more wins then he has over Painter and 1 more win he has over Newton as a starter.

Is drinking a warm beer something like to the LOSER goes the spoils?

The stigma attached to the below link is outweighed by the attention gotten. Good onya Decker and Tebow !!!

But, I hear that Tebow connected on 50% of his passes that were caught in the short zone,

How is completing 2 of 8 passes 50% Tebow didn't even connect on a shuffle pass in the backfield..

MGM, 50% of Tebow's completed passed were short with one pass completed for 13 yards and one pass completed for 56 yards.

I know but he did not connect on a lot of short passes....How do I know? Tebow made sports center history as the first QB ever for them to show all of his passes thrown 2 completed and the 6 incompleted passes as a starting QB in that one game.

Diff is The Vikings lost. The Broncos won. :)

The Jets are playing like garbage. So the Broncos may have a chance to beat the Jets. It's very possible that the Broncos could actually win the AFC West. Tebow has a chance to put the Broncos in the playoffs. They may not go anywhere, but if he does that all those Tebow suck chants will be a little more quiter.

I like Tebow and I think that he is a winner but he has got to start throwing better. At least he does what Donovan can't do, he wins when it counts!

If Aaron Rogers used his left hand and Tim Tebow was using his right hand. I would still wager big money that Rogers would be more accurate passing that Tebow.

In Las Vegas right now there is a prop bet on thursdays game on how many passes Tebow completes in the game against the Jets. Over/under 11. Take a guess which way I would bet ?.

If the Broncos make the playoffs with Tebow playing quarteback I will personally dress up in drag, take some pictures in said drag and use them in my profile. Then I will go around town for a day in said drag. Not driving and hiding, but taking public transit.

Me waking up tomorrow caucasion is more likely to happen than the Broncos making the playoffs with Tebow playing quarterback. You Tebow lover are in for a very rude awakening starting this thursday. The Jets are going to stack the line of scrimage, shut the run down completely and force him to pass. It's going to be worst than Custer at little big horn.

The way he's going he would have to pass the ball over 50 times to go over the 11 completions. And if that happens just wonder how many the Jets pick-off.
