Most people enjoy seeing their partner experiencing pleasure – except that pleasure. Other people enjoy it, including that pleasure.

Some don’t enjoy the thought of their partner enjoying that pleasure with someone else even if it happened before they met, and banish all previous lovers or even much mention of them.

I don’t know what accounts for the difference. But some polyamorous people feel pleasure when a loved one feels pleasure, even from another sexual relationship. And I suspect highly possessive people probably do not.

I've had several women bring up the subject of swapping, MFM and FFM. They said they were interested in exploring and asked me if I would be willing to try it. I said that I wasn't opposed to trying it. With one, we got on an adult site, but it didn't go any further than swapping a couple emails with another couple. With the rest, that's as far as it went. People talk about things that they might want to try, but in reality talking is all that happens.

I have a hunch this is one of those areas of life where attitudes aren’t based on facts and won’t be changed by arguments.

My partners engaged in sex with others before I came along and still others after we parted. I hope they had a wonderful time and I don’t begrudge them their enjoyment.

But for some people (maybe most), just imagining their lovers having that enjoyment with others is enough to squick them out. A lot. Fair enough - we were raised to ‘believe’ in monogamy, if not to actually practice it.

And the above is just circling the topic here, not diving in. Suffice to say that what our lovers enjoy with us they’ve enjoyed with someone else. If that thought is enough to make your stomache churn, why go further. It’s not the sex. It’s your stomache. The sex was clean and lovely. Some of it was damn good. It just wasn’t with you. Or me (grin)

I actually don't mind at all, it's like your own personal porno. And depending on the guy, I would have no problem with it if my man asked me to. I know many time though my man would prefer to watch me with another woman (how I found out I was bisexual).

The cool thing I get from this is that there is a huge range of preferences, and all kinds of people liking one thing or another. Really, it's all good as long as no-one is trying to push you into something you don't like. And what's too far for one couple, may be the point where things just start getting interesting for another!

I dated this girl for awhile recently divorced. She said that her and her husband tried the "swinging" lifestyle and that all was fine that they both enjoyed it with no jealousy i!!!nvolved untill this one time. She had helped him during anal sex with this one girl. Left the room and did her own thing. The gal I'm presently seeing told me her selection of guys greatly increased when they found out she was/is bi-sexual and they hoped to have a 3-some. She asked if I would be interested if she found a gal friend. I told her it doesn't really appeal to me.

If I had no actual feelings for the guy, then I could probably do it. But if I start liking a guy, prolly not. Really depends. I have done it once, and it didn't bother me. I guess I wasn't really that much into him as I thought. For this situation, ignorance is bliss.
