I have no patience for that kind of nonsense.

been wanting to respond to your long post but haven't been able to pull myself away from research and posting on Reddit long enough to give it the attention it needs. hopefully some time soon.

p.s. thanks for the koala story.

Don't sweat it. China is going to launch their second space station in an hour or so for my entertainment... and to replace the one that Sandra Bullock fvcked up.

Dude don't come at me with this kind of ridiculous nonsense anymore

but yet it's ok for you to come to us with this kind of ridiculous nonsense ...and then have temper tantrums when questioned

So tell me then, how is it that the debate can go anywhere at all, with you stern restriction on all of the relevant subject material?

perhaps posting one of two youtube links to show your point of view or to get the debate started, but to constantly post links without explaining anything suggest conspiracy theorist, having stock in youtube, paranoia, incapable of putting the evidence together rationally, intentionally helping to spread a hoax or just plain delusional

I have experienced all kinds of memory-related confusions sort of related to these subject areas. Nothing that would lead me to suspect or accept anything like "alternate universe bleedthrough" or the like however.

In fact, I am rather intensely opposed to encouraging anyone to believe that they are experiencing such a magic-like oddity as that, because I have also directly experienced other people using such beliefs, to arrange deceptions and scams. That, and people using "magic" explanations of various kinds, to excuse what's really just them refusing to accept responsibility for themselves.

I have put a lot of effort into each situation where I have discovered conflicts between my own memory, and what the facts are said to be instead. Most of the time, I can explain what happened by having plenty of self-knowledge. That is, in my case, the reason I have often mis-remembered some relatively minor quote from a film, or have misspelled some word I've read and used often, it's because I am in a rush, and because I focus most on getting the big picture right, rather than details that I don't take to be important at the time. It also occurs when I'm nervously or otherwise emotionally distracted while I'm dealing with something, so that I allow my mind to fill in what I EXPECT to see, instead of actually LOOKING.

As for lots of people misremembering Mandela, that is more readily explained for me, by the way memory itself works in most people: by associations. People remember Mandela as being famous, especially in the 80's, didn't pay that much attention to WHY he was famous then, and they know that he's dead now, so they ASSEMBLE a "memory" about him, and install it at the moment they are asked a question. And people do THAT behavior, because our culture calls upon them to learn to come up with answers, and NOT say "I don't know," most of the time, and in all sorts of situations. Ironically, because of that culture, most people do NOT have as strong a negative association with guessing incorrectly, as they do with admitting that they don't know or remember at all, so they will be even more likely to calmly assemble and install all kinds of false memories, whenever they are called upon to fill in a gap.

The reason why lots of people come up with the SAME false memories, is simple shared culture and resources for creation of the memories. That, and shared suffering of propaganda.

Serious studies have shown that it's even surprisingly easy to make someone remember doing something that they didn't do, as in a police interrogation.

Picture of Cern scientist taken in 2014 (the piece of paper he is holding ups says "we are happy @ Cern."):

Come on man. I feel like that lawyer that prosecuted the JFK assassination. Post a scientific study, prsent a bunch of good evidence. And you still get comments like this. S'like alternate dimensions and excepted scientific theories are all fairy land wacko magic now? Or that there aren't people out there right now smashing particles together so hard that it could potentially make a blackhole. Or using "D-wave computers" to tap into alternate realities. Yah, this stuff is so far fetched.

It is astounding! The lies people will tell themselves to avoid looking into a possible painful truth.

Vitamin B 12 deficiency--look it up on reputable medical sites.

If your brain doesn't have the nutrients it needs, you are going to have some weird "experiences".
