Notice: Forums will be shutdown by June 2019

To focus on better serving our members, we've decided to shut down the POF forums.

While regular posting is now disabled, you can continue to view all threads until the end of June 2019. Event Hosts can still create and promote events while we work on a new and improved event creation service for you.

Thank you!

Why do ppl find the "ex" a good conversation?
Drinking 3 drinks all night, still is too much....should not have driven.
You put her at risk as well as everyone one the road.
The flowers...nice touch but won't work if the other is done.
I do hope you found happiness after all this time.

Why do ppl find the "ex" a good conversation?

Yes, this. There was a guy that I met from here who, in every single conversation we had, he managed to wiggle his ex into it. I told him once that I wasn't interested in her hearing about her and his response was he only brought her up if he didn't feel like he could personally relate to the conversation (such as me having a child. He didn't have one but his ex did). I said okay, but I don't want to hear about her.

He acted like he understood and we met up face to face and whaddya know? At some time during the evening, here comes the ex again. The whole night was pretty crappy but that definitely contributed to me not wanting to see him again past that night. After that, I just quit. And the best part is this guy was/is 30 years old. Thirty years old.
