To the owners and moderators at POF, there are better ways at generating income off a free site than charging a service for options that we're once free. If you need a model, look at facebook. Zuckerberg has not even once pushed for something its users to pay. That is the most successful FREE social media website to date.

Appreciate the consideration given to its members
Consideration would be an actual response instead of the owner(s) reverting the viewed me back to free.
I still stand by my assertion that good customer service involves actually engaging the customer/user base in a public forum.
I find it a little ridiculous that the mods of the site don't have any method to contact Markus other than the channels we have and that Markus is the only "voice" of POF.
I think maybe things like this wouldn't happen as often if Mods were kept in the loop about inevitable changes and the community is made aware of any changes.
Do we really need to see random changes that only get pulled back after 60+ pages of complaining? | |

Those who hate it can turn it off... same goes for the lurkers or those afraid someone will contact them because they viewed a profile.
I know I use it fairly often and while I don't assume a quick view means they are interested, it lets me check out a profile I may not have seen and if I see repeat views I may be more inclined to contact them if their profile interest me as well...
now that Instant messenger is something they can do away with... I am sooooo glad I found out how to disable that IM thing....
