Do You Ever Size Up the Competition?Page 4 of 4    (1, 2, 3, 4)
Of course! Its no different then walking into a room full of other single women and seeing what might be your competition! lol! It's just the way we women are natured since it is ingrained in us from birth that we should look pretty in order to get a mans interest. And I cant say I'm not appalled at some of these women! eeek! the shameless half nude pics and profiles that sound like something out of an escort advertisement! Makes me wonder just what kind of men are answering those profiles?

One of my favorite emails was from a man who said to me "Why do all the good ones live so far away." We bantered back and forth for quite awhile very easily even though we both knew there was no chance of a relationship. Perhaps it was so easy BECAUSE there was no chance of a relationship!

Happened to me once before also. With a forumite. Thought I was 'safe' at 3,000 miles. Nope. We ended up meeting face-to-face about 5 days after that first email. Lasted a couple years. He gave good email ;-)

I'm not anymore attracted to men my age than they are to me and I find them harder to please.

Interesting comment. I wonder how wide spread your perceived philosophy really is on both sides of the gender divide. Probably more than we can admit.

We all look younger than we are, Right?????

I did that on another site and only really saw one or two profiles that I found interesting. I certainly stopped worrying that I had nothing to attract a man with by what I had written in mine as i realised mine was quite good, if long. But a male friend sometimes emails me cut and pastes of women's profiles he comes across that are interesting.
