I am looking for the female version of Christian Grey. Trust me when I say that isn't easy to find. Dominant males are easy to find.

Christian Grey! Whew, made me take step back and readjust my ideal. Lol yeah it's mommy porn, Twlight knock off but it's grown up sexual desire. I look at it with a shed of grey. Some I have done, some I have never condsidered. It was fun reading and just that for fun. Just remember it's fiction and have fun.

50 shades is extremely over hyped and, upon reading the first few pages, appears to be written by a post-pubescent 14 year old girl.

Absolutely one of the worst pieces of literature I've ever read. If she "clambered" into or out of bed one more time I would've lost it. Erotica can be a wonderful accessory to playtime -- whether alone or with a partner. This was not well written enough to be considered good erotica IMHO.

Kristen Stewart as Anastasia? No way. I agree she has dead eyes. I dont think she is all that attractive either. Ryan is a great choice as Christian, he is intense and sexy. I also like the idea of Ian Sommerholder, he makes me weak. Please no Kristen. There are plenty of young women to play Anastasia.

I had my very own Christian Grey about twenty years ago. Didn't really enjoy him to the fullest as I was very naive. Boy, the fun we could have today!!!

who in their right mind would like this book...

"as he pulls out her tampon, tosses it into the toilet, and has sex with her..."
ugh.

Well yeah...everyone knows you don't toss tampons into the toilet. I mean, really!

That was total fantasy, right there. Why didn't the "author" (I cannot call her a writer) describe how romantic it was when the toilet overflowed?

^^^^^ That is truly sickening.

Most guys I know won’t touch tampons when they’re all wrapped up new in a box….

See, I guess I'm lucky in that sense. I like guys to be dominate... but in a relationship with another woman, I like to be dominant.

I’ll bet that post increased your popularity. Every guy I know dreams of a bi-sexual woman. Is your inbox full now? (Smile)

Read the first one and half of the second one. My girlfriend at the time got extremely excited over the book and we took it into the bedroom. She wanted her spanking with six hard smacks on her ass and got it and really started wanting to get into that lifestyle. Ended up breaking up with her a few months ago.

Worst than bad, more like horribly written. Using the same descriptive words over and over...even in the same chapter. I love erotica, but I'm only up to chapter 14 in the first book and it's hard to get interested. I've been told by women friends to "just wait" it gets better....I'm sure they are referring to the sex part, but if it's badly written like the first part, I'll loose interest.

It is nothing more then a love story with some Dom/sub added. Nothing anyone that has played in that area hasn't tried. It was an OK read.

Yes I have read 50 Shades of Grey & most definitely would love to have a Christian Grey in my life! Sure would make sex more fun, not that it isn't now but do so love adventure! Been single for several years & like it, but if I found a Christian Grey I might think about settling down again. I have a normal sexual relationship but if I ever had one like Christian don't think I could go back to a normal one!

I've always been an avid reader and have read some great books over the years but the 50 Shades trilogy is by far the best I've ever read. I've read all 3 books several times. Porn for women!! Who doesn't want a devoted and attentive man like Christian Grey?

I have got to chapter 4 and cant get any more into it. I started it because friends wanted my view and the reason they wanted my view?

Well I have been into D/s for about 18 yrs and no I am not submissive at all in fact I am a Dominate. The sad thing about these books is how badly written they are but they are opening peoples eyes to what goes on out there and trust me these books are tame.

book should be banned. Written by a mentally ill woman and gives good women a demeaning reputation. Samantha Brick thinks so and so do I!

OK, I'll bite...

book should be banned.

Why? For being poorly written fanfiction?

Written by a mentally ill woman

Aw, c'mon. She's a lousy writer who loves "Twilight", but that doesn't make her mentally ill.

and gives good women a demeaning reputation.

Soooo...if a woman likes BDSM, she's not "good" and her reputation is demeaned? How exactly do you derive that opinion?

Samantha Brick thinks so and so do I!

Well, bully for you. Who the heck is Samantha Brick, and is she as thick as one?

This book appealed to me, the divorced and over 35 bracket who have been around the block once and found out that its no fun to have to make all the decisions in a relationship and do all the work. For me personally the appeal is more about a man taking charge and taking what he wants, which just happens to be you, vs. a bondage fantasy.
Who wouldn't like that? Of course I've never been tied up so I don't know for sure. Looking for my take charge man on my next trip around the block but so far the men I've met have been more dum(b) than dom.

I have heard a lot of talk about women wanting a “take charge” man, but I haven’t found very much of it in real life. Perhaps an age thing, the woman (quoted above) is 39, and I have been meeting / dating women quite a bit older than that.

If Mr grey didn't have the fancy lifestyle and the endless gestures of grooming I wonder how many of you would still find him a fantasy.

My understanding is that Mr. Grey is supposed to have the best qualities of George Clooney, Bill Gates, and John Holmes. I can see where that might appeal to more than a few women (smile).

the funny thing about books like 50 shades is that i now see a ton of women, even very undesirable ones, all say they want their very own mr grey now. expectations are a bit high there ladies...
