Dating in the hopes of finding a man who wants a long term relationship is going to be virtually impossible. However, dating during pregnancy will get you a lot of men who have fetishes. Pregnant women have a certain something that makes them sexually desirable. But once the baby comes those guys will be gone. Unless of course you have a great pair of lactating breasts. That will keep a lot of guys around, perhaps not for anything serious but for sex it is a guarantee.

she should, the statistics show very few single mothers do anything even close to a good job parenting the kids alone, and because there girls...they will probably just follow in her steps, getting pregnant, having kids instead of making a life for themselves.....i think we are way too light on single mothers in this society, and they waste and abuse way to many tax dollars...not everyone is supposed to be rich.or.well off in this society, every society has poor people, fact is the money they get goes to them,,,these women are basically selfish,so why does the government reward very bad behavior, why do we think its normal to subsidize other peoples mistakes?

Any self respecting man doesn't want your spawn. You wanted the "bad boy." You wanted kids with him.

What makes you think I want your spawn? I don't!

Lolz...

Although I completely agree the unfortunate fact is we wouldn't be very civilized to let children starve. So how would you propose we punish the baby factories without also punishing indirectly the babies?

Last I heard...it takes one of both genders to make a baby

i think we are way too light on single mothers in this society, and they waste and abuse way to many tax dollars
Huh?? I don't know about the states but here in Canada...it isn't made easy if you are asking for any assistance and again....where's the father???..

so why does the government reward very bad behavior, why do we think its normal to subsidize other peoples mistakes

Again....why is this mistake or bad behaviour only her fault?
Trust me.....I've been a single young mother....worked 2 jobs with very little support from their father or assistance.
I was rewarded alright...... because those children remember who stuck around and did for them.

True enough. Yet just like you can't make her be a mother you can't make him be a father.

Not really all that easy but they do get free food and housing. As far as where are the fathers? Well ask them, I know I have and when they get honest about it they don't know. As in they don't know who the father really is. The ones who do say who they think it might be but they aren't sure. lmao

I commend you. However there are those that just have children to have children. Like I said on another thread a father isn't very likely to take care of children that either aren't his or he believes aren't his. I don't believe we were talking about mothers like yourself. You probably knew the dad and who he was. It wasn't a rave you got pregnant at with a multitude of men.

But only one gender makes the determination to whether the pregnancy goes full term or not. That aside, how was your answer relevant to the quoted statement?

Again....why is this mistake or bad behaviour only her fault?

Again, she is the ONLY one who made the decision to have the baby.

Trust me.....I've been a single young mother....worked 2 jobs with very little support from their father or assistance

I keep hearing this same rhetoric over and over which is never supported by anecdotal evidence. As such, we have to presume that this is just another play on the victim narrative, isn't it.

You should put your health and the baby first. Getting back into dating comes with its own stressors. So just wait until your kids are a bit older then take it slow.
