I broke a jaw today.
Misunderstanding and what not.

Hurried through the formalities, pictures of the stitches I got.
A nice woman cuffed and unstuffed and later asked for what surely must,
venture into unethical flirtations of the carnal exhuast,
in so much that it was pre-destined for short goodbyes and long lazy looks of lust.
Not the first time, so I shot video right after,
giving evidence of my helpful nature post such an unnatural disaster.

Thieving attempt at dissuation of my character.
Righteous idignation 'for the fallout of my harrier.
One stroke and a splash much like quiet Asian poety,
unless I choose not to forget his friend's limited range of mobitilty.
Blessed be and lucky my day,
less more blood hit the sidewalk and a judge who'd need swayed.
Exempt in the eyes of that ginger cutie, who took two on one and never minded the blade.

For could only be seen as some mishappen job,
evidenced biweekly round here given oil field kabobs.
Even tolerance we have 'fend easily we're not,
lest oil pull out and ghost towns cinch cravat
in and over so much as we need to survive...
not to mention fat larders supporters gain to provide.
Give us patience. Sharp tolerance. Commerade.

Snow covers lost things and cold bites the shadow,
ornery boys quick to test the timbers of the gallows
run towards the fire without fear, showing yellow....
rescue lost souls like I once required since mellowed.
Yet today the winter kept me close to myself, and took me back 22 years to the winter I myself accepted help.

The Empty Nest Blues Rant

Today I lazed around the house sat staring at the wall
Hoping for a Facebook message or a weekly call
Ensuring me all was well & to keep me in the loop

Empty nest I'm all alone my children flew the coop
Meals for one and not for three I heat a can of soup
Pretty quiet now no arguments, no, "Mom she took my seat"
The end of all that clutter and the smell of dirty feet
You homesick yet?" I ask my son, he says, "Well, just a smidge"

No help to lug the groceries in but my beer stays in the fridge
Each night so far no need to yell, " Hey turn it down you two"
So no need to watch the Simpsons ... although sometimes I do
Though I'm feeling disconnected in this second half of life

Being no one left to mother, no longer someone's wife
Lots of time and freedom now that I've never had before
Unfortunately along the way I've turned into a bore
Each day an opportunity to live and take a chance
Sure I could travel write a book maybe learn to dance

Road trips in the summer I could camp out in a trailer
And maybe hang out at the docks and pick me up a sailor
Now the world is my oyster I only need to choose
Though as I age the things I crave are hot tea and a snooze

Partial to practicality, partially due to priority
Assuaging what has each of us in such hardcore frivolous formalization
Rustic familiarity hits the nail in its rusted blood dyed salt, faults
Is to the star & the leaf above & the ground
Sensing what may be our dilemma in moral immortality

Merits
Yesterday

Reliving enactments
On pretending that charm
Saves all possibility

Mastering darkness within ones eyes
Over starry blackened skies
Opening hearts to a moonlit kiss
New romances evolving within the Dark abyss
Lights of colors breaking thru without slack
I nstilling beauty within the parallels of darkness in black
Giving in to passions within the night
Holding ghostlike stories among hauntings in sight
T he moonlight is a beautiful mystery of darkness n light

Great task so nobly advanced by their last full measure of devotion to
Equality for All the foundation of a new nation
That government for the people shall not perish
That field as a final resting-place for those who gave their lives
Years ago
So conceived and so dedicated
But in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow this ground
Us the living
Rather be dedicated here to the unfinished work
Great tasks remaining before us

R ealizing this energy has so much loving potential
I ncreasing light sets us free on our flight

Canning the weeds
And the poison that is faith
Noting the time
Cancelling the wait
Expectations not as eager
Regrettably the hate is left only like one, an old tied shoe

Do you use
On the giving of blood
Notice of sender, delivery without a name
And to the top
That we stop
Echo return, repeat, the same wind stagnant freshness
...

Aww TY We! G'd to have returned & writing again. Missed the artwork here..

Did the sound of a cherub
Into the inside of a gong
Die out when the wing was hung

Interloping my world

Back, back, the babble
Around, atone, the loners town
Concerning tones, wrecking no mischief
Kissing the starry cheeks, the eye of the sky

...
