Profile PhotoPage 2 of 2    (1, 2)
I'm with pandora on this one, more than one photo would be good (and yes I am a little shallow). I looked at someone's profile piccy once and thought ''I fancy the pants off him'' ....looked at another one of his and wondered if it was even the same man.

And I hate the piccys with shirts off, you can just tell they are sucking it all in for the few seconds they are taking the piccy. I bet they breath a sigh of relief the moment the shutter has done it's job. :)

Group photos (really? you don't have any pictures of just you, and can't even be bothered to crop?) are probably the one type I'd get rid of for sure. And the blurry or low resolution ones, that just looks like you don't know how to work a camera. Almost anything else, yes even a nightclub toilet shot, tells you something.

And the ones that are misleading when you actually meet the person in the flesh, of course, but you can't tell that until you do!

^^^ He might also have to have a very large car, to accommodate his disproportionately enormous genitalia.
I saw a man in one of those tiny "Smart Cars", and the poor sod had to have it sticking out through the sun roof.
Imagine that, in a hail storm..>?
Just sayin.....

Also, men with the very small pens's, might be some sort of specialists in miniature calligraphy, producing those tiny, but complete versions of Shakespeare's works.
All my own pens are regular-sized, but if I were going to try to write really, really small writing, I would use tiny pens'ses.
Probably.

OT.
I think profile photo's should all be passport photo's, and should be signed as a "reliable likeness", by a doctor, a lawyer, an 'officer of the company', or a responsible adult.
That way, everyone would look like convicts, =equally sh1t.

men standing at the top of a mountain in a big padded snowsuit and dark glasses.... is there a trim, blue eyed handsome man hiding in there somewhere?

guys in the beach shot, kneeling on one knee to disguise the little short fat hairy legs , dressed in swim trunks which come down to his knees with his arms positioned just perfectly to hide the belly hanging over the top oh and not forgetting the dark glasses to hide the blue eyed handsome man!

guys standing on top of a mountain looking very lonely 'cos his mate took the shot from the other mountain after they both took a wrong turn and went in oposite directions!

guys cycling wearing helmets to hide the receding hairline and dark glasses to hide the blue eyed handsome man!

guys kneeling down stroking a tiger .... screaming eat me eat me!

men standing with their arm round their crazily beautiful grown up daughter .... there's probably a crazily beautiful ex to contend with and mother and daughter are probably very high maintenance!

Alice you have some very nice photos on your profile.

I think i look good in my picture with my dog?

mandi I quite agree.

The vaseline all over the camera lens effect, using a pic editor and turning up the brightness to warp factor 10 on all their pictures so all you can see is the ghostly outline of a face, all because they're getting on a bit and are sh1t scared of anyone seeing a wrinkle

:) I am so techno phobic I wouldn't have a clue how to do all that stuff... took me flippin ages to work out how to use my camera phone when I eventually moved on from the bog-standed nokia!

You won't be surprised when I tell you this because nothing surprises POF forum readers but it wasn't that long ago I received a message from a man and the photo was his di*k and that was his main profile pic! No prizes for guessing it didn't get the required response he was most likely aiming for!

I think the most sincere picture of me is the one where I am drunk with friends lol. I'm so happy in that picture and it was real, not forced or for the camera, just me being with people I love.

If that makes a man view me dimly, then so be it. He wouldn't be right for me anyway.

I prefer profile photos. It is good to know who you are talking too. An image of a person provides an overall impression of that person - although it is nothing to do with vanity!
